  3. I agree the 1000 would probably be a better bike but I have a hard on for v4s that sound like small block Chevys with 2" pipes
  4. More or less than 100k? If less drain the fluid, in the case and if possible drain the fluid in the torque convertor. If no drain on torque convertor, drain and refill case, drive for a couple days, drain and refill again.
  5. Might have to re-think the ninja1k for a vfr800.
  6. Sometimes during extended warranty work communication can be lost. Service advisor could've told tech, that warranty company would cover it and just to do it Plus funny things happen in shops from November through March. Most of January and February techs are starving for hours. I remember one week at the bmw dealer, on Monday I came in had one car, a oil change, and no work scheduled the rest of the day and I told my service manager to find work or I was going home to sleep and to call me if any came in. He said go home and I was fired. I ended up sleeping in the tool room from 9am until 5pm. The rest of the week went very similar, I think I had 8 hours of pay that week and was living pay check to pay check at that time. Moral of the story. Being an auto tech sucks.
  7. Counter steer I didn't know that was possible with ultra traction snow tires
  8. Sounds like you need to find a new job.
  9. If you got the second set of keys just go grab it in the middle of the night and be done with it.
  10. So tired of hearing anything about counter steer, if someone argues that you don't counter steer they are obviously a moron and you not need be associated with them. It's a natural function of the motorcycle

    HVAC Help!

I've heard of stories like that, we had a line of credit on our house throughout our normal bank, we didnt use it tho but if we did and didn't pay the bank could take our house. But I figured if you did it through the bank, deducted the interest on the taxes, it would still be like a 0% loan. And even if you didn't use it as a deduction equity lines of credits are pretty low rates now to low if you ask me. But that's another story for another day and , We did the dave ramsey thing and don't use any form of credit, except the wife used a toys r us credit card for purchases for her work that get reimbursed because every 1k spent you get $50 gift card, so it's nice that we get a little break from that shopping for our 3 month old. But really not using credit is the way to go..

Home Equity Line of Credit? Take the tax deduction and get another tax deduction for the equipment upgrade?
  13. I see I see after re reading, that's odd though, I've always been told by my agent that if the car is in the garage it's covered under home owners and if it's outside it's covered under the comprehensive of the car policy. I think I'm going to record that conversation when renewals come due in a couple months
  14. Well my thoughts on it are, even if you have $0 deduc. do you really want to file a claim for something that was worth $250 bucks new?
  15. No one has been able to touch the price of my state farm premium, not even close.
  16. I really like how the author was complaint about the narrow handle bars. It's a 6500 dollar bike. Renthal bars are like 65 bucks. Just buy new bars... Jeez
  17. I love that Hero bike. Hero could be the biggest motorcycle slash scooter manufacture in the world
  18. no al sharpton and Jesse Jackson jr will hold the marches your invite might have been lost in the mail tho.
  19. I have at least 5 family members that have guns and never use them and I know that 2 of them prefer no one else in the family knows they do. I also have a family member who supports everyone's right to own them bit refuses to own them because he had an ND in his house and by some how the bullet went through a dresser that had a surplus army helmet in the cupboard portion and stopped it from going through the dry wall of the outer walls. Next time I see him I'll get a picture of the helmet and dresser.
  20. I think the world needed a humble man like this as a religious leader. The man didn't even want to move into his Vatican, just wanted to live in his tiny apartment.
  21. $1100 cheaper than the ninja 650, $1500 cheaper tha the SV 650 an $2000 cheaper than the cbr650. Sign me up. So glad all the manufactures have true middle of the road sporty bikes again. Let the war begin Now only if EBR would build their OWN 650 twin.

Ya wd can be used on any electrical part without worry, it was designed for marine use in the military, it's not a good lubricant, but it can free sticky parts and is 100% safe to use on electrical components. I use to spray it inside wiring harness connectors any time I unplugged a component when I work for bmw. It's not going to be a permanent solution but it will buy you time, probably through the rest of the cold, or until you can get a new part, but it might be wise to think about a new furnace, you'd be suprised how much better they are
