If you tapped the relay the relay is definitely sticking, either pull it out and spray some wd40 inside it or get a new one. I've changed so many relays in furnaces I keep a few on hand for where I work. There needs to be serious rewriting of accident laws. When I wrecked my VFR avoiding an ambulance with no sirens, but lights on blowing through a red light, the cause of the accident was i let of the throttle in the middle of a gravel patch, that was about my only option because if I would have kept on the throttle I would have ended up literately in the ambulance, like probably going to the morgue in the ambulance but also I'd be dead from going through the side of it. Anyway the cop that showed up tried to give me a ticket for failure to control vehicle, I said and I quote, "hey fuckhead do you see all the gravel in the road, if you give me that ticket I'm going to take a picture of that gravel and sue the living shit out of your shitty" At that point he walked away and drove off. Not to mention the city EMT's kept touching me after I told them to stop. Man I could have had the lawsuit of a lifetime. Of course I'd of been a marked man every time traveling through, but hey, I should have sued anyway. Well, I think the part of the problem might be all the politics involved, the racing on the professional level is boring, it seems like the old dudes are taking up all the spots and there is no chance for anyone under 30 to perform on the US circuit. I think another problem is, with all the motorcycle forums and part sites out there I NEVER see ads for the AMA, shit I never see adds for the AMA on velocity tv, like seriously. An ad on velocity tv is gonna cost what, like $100 bucks? Lol I kid I kid but... Seriously. Another problem is riders of kawi, red riders etc. they should all be within the AMA, seriously manufactures, your clubs suck for the most part and my AAA card gets me a better deal on stuff. Just get to together with the AMA and create club programs that offer all the benefits of the AMA with special perks of each manufacture. I also believe that AMA should do a better job of targeting cruiser riders, most cruiser riders I talk to respond like this when I mention anything about the AMA. "Aren't those the bastards who support stunt riding on public roads" I guess we could say the same about ABATE, and how they want to put all protective gear manufactures out of business and how the only safety equipment you need is loud pipes. But you know that's true though, so at least we don't have preconceived notions about another organization. And finally I think part of the issue might be people who use Internet forums and the internet in general to look up information and research, is well a very small percentage of people who ride motorcycles, like less than 2% of all riders frequent forums on a regular basis. Like think about it, at QSL bike nights, how many people there are members here, less than 5%. So my solution would be, Get rid of all manufacture riding clubs, have the AMA take them over, yet proportion the fees out to add benefits for the specific manufacture you have a hard on for and when you buy a new bike, you should receive an AMA membership for ZERO cost for the first 2 years.

I think the point was how quick someone was to call out build quality without knowing anything at all of the brand and their history. Oh I'll never buy that until it's been tested yada yada yada... and how many people are going to cream their pants to buy a 2015 Mustang 125% more than MSRP on the day it's released and it's not going to be tested other a couple purpose built crash cars and a select few test rides for magazines....

I remember reading, somewhere in a magazine, that the reason the cbr1000rr never received traction control when all the other literbikes had it, was that they, "didn't just want to slap on the electronics for it." Well that is a bit illogical when I really think about it. Sure they are Honda and want everything to be perfect, BUT you already have the technology to "slap" traction control on and put it in the same competition level as KawiSuziYamaBmdubaya. Put it on, test the software and sell it for $1,500 more like everyone else did nearly 10 years ago and you will make extra money off of it, because now the market demands it, yet you are behind everyone else. Just my 2 cents. I'm not bashing the quality of Honda's bikes, but some of their decisions and dealers like Honda of Marysville, trying to convince us how great their "new" models are, well, I'm not convinced.
