  1. Mexican built, funny story is I called for the build number since the svt's are limited they told me it was build # 1079. FYI there are only 1079 built, so I guess I got the left over parts :dunno:

That 1079 is the total number of 5-doors built that year, not total built. Here's a break down of the number of cars built per year based on the configurations available. This info is from my computer and I'm too lazy to cite the source but I know it to be true and accurate. You can do a little research to verify it.

Here's a couple shot's of my old SVT. I had a Procharger supercharger on it. Before I sold it, it was making about 300hp to the wheels.

  2. In my son's case I'll suddenly heard him stampede through the house for no apparent reason and slam the bathroom door.

My five yr old does this all the time! I've had to hand wash poop out of his underwear on more than one occasion. He gets so caught up in what he's doing, he'll wait to the very last second before heading to the bathroom.

  3. "Satisfaction" is a "feeling" word. Not being satisfied with something that one paid big bucks for leads to feelings of regret, embarrassment, anger....

See, that's why us men think we are satisfied after sex because of all the whining and dining and damn stupid movies we're forced to endure just to get some. Take that all away and it's just another annoying, yacking, once a month bleeding specimen. And it's only after you've paid out the ass and gotten hitched, do the feelings of regret, embarrassment and anger finally shine through.

I'm just playing ladies, don't get your panties in a bunch! :D

  4. You're all too late! I already left my money behind the dumpster in the dark alley and will go back tomorrow to get the bike. He couldn't meet me tonight but assured me the bike would be there tomorrow. He was a really nice guy, I trust him!

  5. Yeah I'm a member over there. I'm not going to go all out street fighter. What I want to do is get some USD forks, swing arm from an 05-08 zx6r, tail section and subframe from an 03-04 zx6r, putting on dirty bars because with my elbow, I may not be able to lean over anymore. Looking to get one of these three headlight,

  6. Man, my shoulder is the only thing that is bothering me but this is an injury that has been with me for awhile. Going down that hard may have aggravated it a bit. Thanks to everyone for all of the help and I'm glad that the ride wasn't a total bust. We even took the scenic route back home through Atwood rather than risk hitting the freeway with no mirrors on the bike. From what I gather, I tried to pass a truck while approaching a 30mph turn and then running out of room, which might have been caused by the logjam of bikes already in the corner. I braked in the turn and started to wobble and lose control. Once I hit the shoulder the bike lowsided and I had another ride, on my ass for a bit. Quite a tumble and also my first wreck on any bike.

All in all, it could have been alot worse for both me and my trusty liter. Most of the damage is on the front end with light cosmetic damage pretty much everywhere else. The stay bracket is totalled as well. For some reason I cannot upload any pics so perhaps if you guys want to see what the bike looks like, I may be able to put them on Facebook. The ironic part is that Hailwood's bike was the one that was almost towed. Now it's time to look for some fairings. You play and you pay...

Damn man, I'm sorry to hear this, that sucks! Well, at least you are ok, that's all that matters. It's been 2 weeks for me and besides my arm, the rest of my upper body is still sore. The arm, now that's a different story, it will never be the same.

See, you guys should have just came to my house and put my bike back together. With parts that you bought, of course....:D

By the way, we better knock this shit off before the rest of Ohio thinks we can't ride!:D

  7. Count me in for this. No ambulances this time...

Don't worry, I won't be going this time so there won't be a need for one. :D

You know, since you guys will be in Bolivar, you should just ride down the road a little bit and put my bike back together instead of going for a ride. That sounds like a better idea to me. Oh yeah, don't forget to bring extra parts! :D

  8. Well, it's finally almost time to get this shit over with. Gotta be in Cleveland tomorrow morning by 8:30 for pre-surgery prep. Quite possibly, I'll be losing a little piece of myself and gaining a new piece to live with for the next 20 years. I think I'm going to ask if I can keep what they take out. You think they'll give it to me? It's mine, I don't see why they wouldn't.
