I didn't help much last year, but I'm getting a good start this year.
-
What do you think 1 round of birdshot, 2rounds of00 Buck, 1 slug, and 2 more rounds of 00buck will do. if that doesn't work I keep the AR loaded with probably 6 plus mags. I wont stop shooting until they stop coming. The wife will empty her shotgun too I'm sure.
-
One rack of the slide and I have buckshot, gives me options.
-
My idea for birdshot first is to catch multiple targets or a moving target.

scruit you must realize you are wrong and ktm brian is right. He is the safest driver ever, he has twice the reaction time of anyone. You wouldn't understand scruit because you didn't study under the Shutyomouff system! Ktm Brian is all knowing! He has posted so now you must submit. Unsubscribed GOD (ktm Brian) has spoken so the topic is resolved! :bigfinger:

I load 1xbirdshot, 2x00buck, 1xslug, 2x00buckshot. I have a plus 3 extension on my Remington 870.

No talking about guns, ammo, reloading, shtf, and or zombies as it may offend some members. This is a MOTORCYCLE forum damn it!

I don't like them in case of an accident either. The minor accident I had would have been much worse if my metal bumper didn't help spin/push them around me. If I had a plastic bumper I don't think my truck would have been drivable. I don't really off road, but I have been through 4'+ of snow without issue. Plastic just wouldn't hold up to that.
-
But then you can't carry it loaded in your car or person.
-
Plastic doesn't hold up well if you need to go off road.

Somebody on the cam and company show last night wrote in and said 1 Cabelas sold over 30,000 guns last year. 30,000 is a lot of guns to sell in a year for one store.
-
I hate the platic bumpers, and I don't care for the front end design on the 08 and newer GM/Chevy's IMHO.
-
Does MT have a NY plated car? I saw a NY license plate "MT OUT" made me laugh. Also NY "STANNICH" which I believe is pronounced sammich in Ohio.
-
I've considered an AR pistol to open carry, but that might be pushing my luck despite being legal. good looking firearm, although I don't like spiders.

I guess I wont need as many cameras if they need to be lower elevation. I could put them on the shed to capture that side of the house. Ill have to talk to the wifie she is the one kinda upset/concerned. She suggested getting a gun safe, but then I can't have guns spread out through the house. I am definetly considering a small office type safe for the medals, jewelry, and important papers(mortgage, insurance papers, checkbooks, etc) we carry our ssn and birth certificates with us to work. I think I know the person behind it, but I can't prove it. The person didn't do it themselves, but had someelse do it for them or gave them the idea/info. Unfortunately I can't prove it.

Feel free to use this thread. What kind of dough does a system run? Im guessing I would need 9 cameras to cover the house propertly. I have a split level so one pat of the house is 2 story, and 3 doors to cover.
-
There are only three things in my house that would devaste me if they were stolen the flag that was over my gpas casket, his medals, and his tool box. I love my firearms, but they are replaceable. I think the idea that someone was almost in our home bothered the wife. She made the comment that you are supposed to feel safe in your home, it's your private space. She asked me what we would do if the house was trashed and everything was gone. I'm not sure she liked my answer as I can be very unsympathetic. I said first I'd go to the gunstore and get something to defend myself(assuming all the guns are stolen), then I would call the insurance company and get them to cut me a check.

I'm not 100% sure because I wasn't home. The door that was opened doesn't blow open. The alarm and siren went off immediately because that door does not have a timer programmed. The police believe someone was there but nothing was missing. I have noideavif anything was disturbed as I'm not home. The officer seemed convinced though. The door was locked when we left, but the SIL left after us. The 3 ye old can unlock doors. He doesn't unlock knob usually though only the deadbolt. The schlage knob locks don't need unlocked to open the door from the inside. All three vehicles were gone today which is unusual. The SIL also said the dogs were acting weird. Cameras may be the next step, although this is the first incident.
-
Well it appears our alarm did its job today and discouraged a burglar, I'm guessing he/she took off after the siren went off. Luckily noting was missing and nobody was home. The attempted breakin happened about 10 minutes after my sister in law left the house. I'm not sure if they picked the lock(I doubt it) of if my nephew unlocked the door before they left and my SIL didn't check it. She will be doing a bet ter job checking doors now The police responded quickly. I think my SIL got a wake up call today. She thinks someone was watching the house. Maybe she will reconsider her statement that guns are bad.

[QlTE=motozachl;773814]Agree. I check the site nearly everyday and wow, they relist the same crap every single day at prices higher than what I can get them new. Sure I don't have to file paper work but that really doesn't justify the price and time saved at all. I have however gotten two really good deals within the past couple months but they are so few and far apart. Wish I lived in the cbus area there seems to be alot more deals there than in cleveland. Anyone use gunbroker? I've gotten a couple mags from gunbroker, but I haven't won any firearms. Most of what I've looked at on GB has had reserves at almost new prices

This may get interesting

00 buck for home defense/SHTF I like estate, but I also have federal I got at a good price, and some hornady 00 buck. I keep several boxes of birdshot, and probably 50 rounds or so of slugs.
