I agree for sure with 1,2,4,6,and 7. I'm surprised Gary, IN and several NJ Cities didnt make high on the list. I personally don't care for Chicago, Gary IN, almost any Mexican border town, Detroit, west Memphis AR, Memphis TN, or most of NJ.

AR prices are down which is good if you are looking to buy. I don't care for the super cheap sport ones I've seen lately. I wouldnt mind trading my HD AR for a piston model, but I hate to take the hit on mine.

Have you checked gunlisting.org, swapgiant, or armslist, I've seen quite a few AR's lately. Just depends on what you are looking for.

You make an excellent point a SHTF situation could be almost anything, unfortunately most of us can't be fully prepared for any situation. I try to be generally prepared, but for instance if we had a massive flood I don't have a boat. Hopefully I will feel more secure after November 2012.

Well hopefully I pickup something good on the semi's dash cam, that we just got a couple weeks ago.

I just call 911 and always get a good response in Ohio, they usually stay on the line with me and I guide the officer to the car. I love when the dispatcher asks me"what makes you think they are drinking?" My response is well I'm in a semi truck and can see the Budweiser(or other beer) in their hand. Once I tell them the brand of beer they defiantly take interest. Most people don't understand I can see the beer in the paper sack from the semi. Two weeks ago I had to call in on a semi driving on the other side of I71, he had no lights on in the middle of the night and his drivers door was open for some reason. Honestly it looked like he was going to jump. A couple weeks before that a pickup was towing a boat on I71 and the boat was half off the trailer Damn near dragging the ground. I see the craziest stuff.

We fired the first realtor we had last time we bought a house. She definitely wasn't 100% on our side. She wanted us to just pay more than we wanted to. The second realtor was awesome! She was on our side the entire time, even went the extra step. We tried to buy a home that was a short sale, what a nightmare, the banks are a PITA! We really wanted the house even waited beyond contract offer time to hear yes or no. A good realtor makes the process much better. I bet we looked at almost 40 houses, she was very patient. Fire your realtor and find one that will work for you. I highly doubt they will adjust the price if its below market.

AR15 either bushmaster shorter with quad rails, forward grip, magpul sling, six position stock, and light. Availability of ammo and parts, and capacity plus I have a quite a bit of ammo. FNP-45 15+1 or 14+1 (depending on mag) of 45 acp. My wifie would probably take Either her Springfield EMP or the Springfield Range Officer (she likes 1911's) Savage 17hmr rifle Plenty of ammo on hand and good for small game The other AR probably the Colt HBAR 20" heavy barrel with iron sights. I bought it for me, but she has grown attached to it. We won't be travelling too far in shtf, we will be bunkering in.
