  1. i agree if they want to wear shirt and shorts, it doesnt bother me, if they go down, it doesnt affect me. I look at it like wearing a seat belt, its your choice, doesnt bother me
  2. its not as smooth as a ride, and you get dirty quick lol
  3. i have one of the 3/8 wrenches. when i got it the handle was off and not accurate with the foot pounds you were trying to set it at, took it back and they gave me a new one. never had a problem with it. keep it in the case, keep and clean and dont drop it and it will last forever. going to go get the 1/2 one, need one that goes higher than 100 foot pounds
  4. I think most harley guys dont even know how to use the internet!!! so your prolly the only one on here, but your also younger
  5. are you looking to get better gas mileage so you do have to stop as much or to save money? You only have a 4 gal tank so you wont save that much money. just wondering, have fun on your ride out there and be safe
  6. ive been on 739 alot and that is a straight wide road from richwood to the honda medical center then its straight again till you get too honda parkway. As for deer, they are all over honda property. I use to drive the back side of honda's property and look into the fields and see upwards of almost 100 on a good night. They cross those streets all the time. So that rider may have swerved to avoid a deer, or was really tired and maybe leaving honda. Suck to hear though
  7. [quote I was pretty much bored through the class, being that it's paced for people that have never been on a bike. I did learn some things, and would recommend it to any new rider. From what I understand, the practicing of the items that are "the test" makes it much easier than going to take the test on your own. i was the same way. took it last fall and by that point i had ridden about 3-4 thousand miles so i was bored. I also learned a few things but have also forgotten things too
  8. I love it and play it alot on here and also on my laptop. Not bad, but i like it
  9. Thats not bad to rent a suit. Still an expensive weekend, but you have to pay to play. If i can get the money together i would love to do one, but would also prolly have to rent a trailer, get some boots and gauntlets
  10. Yeah m-o is the closest as i live on the west side of columbus. The thing that sucks though is if the event starts at 7am then i would have to be packed up and leave by 4:30-5am. Not really that big of a deal. I would love to do it but would also need a trailer and would perfer to have a bike specific to a track so i wouldnt have to tape off lights and ect. What is the average cost to rest suits at these tracks?
  11. Thanks for the answers guys. What i was trying to say was am i going to get to go out more then once if i wanted too, and you both answered that. I understand you couldnt run for 7hrs straight. Use to do some woods riding so i kinda understand what its like. I would like to do some track days, but like everything else i get into, i will just spend lots and lots of money so we will have to see. Living in columbus, it will be quite a drive to get to some of these tracks
  12. NEWB question also. if i was to do a track day and went into the novice class obviously and did my classroom instruction and was to come back again another time in the same class do i have to do the class room work again? Also at track days do you get to ride on the track as much as you want? If its an 8 hour track day, could i ride 7hrs if i wanted too?
  13. easy job, there is a company that makes an adjustable kick stand, just cant think of who it is
  14. Looks good, think my next bike is gonna be a street glide. If you powder coat the rotors wont they just wear off???
  15. Ive always heard they deal with the older jap bikes. That R1 is prolly too new for them. I called them on a faring stay for a 2000 r6 and was told that was too new
  16. usually there are spots in the malls that sell all of those fake sunglasses. At least the columbus malls do
  17. I may have to check this out. i usually dont do bike nights cuz there always on a week night and i have to be at work at 6am.
  18. I own a gsxr but buy no means am i that stupid. I saw a post on a gsxr forum one time that a guy had removed his exhaust and left the header on and was asking if it was ok to ride around like this. when people were asking him as to why in the world would you do that, not only did he say he liked the sound of it, but his new exhaust was being shipped so he went ahead and removed the old
  19. I agree Pit-Bull, but DMP makes some nice stands too. If you were only going to take the tire off then going cheap is prolly fine, but if your going to keep it up all winter long then get the pit-bull. Borrowing one is always the way to go too
  20. Theres a guy who i think lives in london that has a early to mid 90's camaro body on a lifted truck like that, looks better than that mustang
  21. wow that weird. i would be doing a credit check asap.
  22. glws, i love mine. same thing as your gixxer
  23. seems like harley finally saw this as a problem because didnt they redesign the new touring models for the 2010 and 2011. I know the street glide has some changes to the frame and motor.
  24. Fp makes Fp its there own company, google fp racing levers. I too ordered mine from motomummy.com, always free shipping. They are a sponsor of another forum i go to. I would prolly stick to the ones that have been listed above as they are the popular ones for a reason. But its your money, so if you like something else then by all means.
