Ah, thought it was a p0rndog....not a p0rnpickle

We made it home about 3pm, unloaded the bikes, unpacked, and kicking back to reflect on the epicness of the trip now. Nice to shake new hands again this year, and always great to catchup with the common crew too. Had a blast! Best weather EVER, and as always we enjoy the hilarity of the fireside evenings with everyone. Didn't drink too much this year so I didn't fall down once on the stagger back to our cabin. Witnessed our first P0rndoggin'....now I just wonder how long before the pictorial proof pops up here?

Wife and I took the BRP to Mount Mitchell today and had lunch at the highest point on the east coast together. Loved the scenery, and our maiden voyage on the BRP was a fun success

The pizza rocked, thanks Mike @RidersDiscount

We just cut through South Carolina and stopped in Blairsville GA for a break before hitting Blood Mtn. Wanted to wait for @Isaac's Papa this morning, but we had to roll out to make it back before dark...sorry Pauly. We ride to Mount Mitchell tomorrow, so hopefully you can join us then?
-
We are fueling at the PitStop, gonna be heading southeast on 28 for our big loop shortly....any takers?
-
Oh SURE....."mornings are fine"....of course they are....we hit it about 2pm. It is sweet scenery though following the river/falls.
-
Wife and I are doing our 4 state loop if anyone wants to join. We will be at the PitStop fueling up and waiting to leave out about 830am.

Took a 2 hour parade ride...1 way...down Little River Gorge Rd this afternoon, thanks @Tonik Yeah, it would've been a nice ride if it weren't for all the tourists corking it up like your bowels after a jammy ham sammich, you fuckpuddle. One of these days I'll stop listening to your ride advice

That's what the wife and I are doing as well, should pass through Cinci about 5-515am. Should still be clear at that time.

@Dizzledan comes out of nowhere and saves the day! #FuckingSuperHero

We should get to Fontana between noon-1pm. We'll keep and an eye out for you, but should be passing through there around 1:30ish if you'll still be at the Gap store. We plan to take the Dragon to Foothills and beyond

Posting this for a work buddy. Anyone interested should shoot me your digits to pass along to him as he didn't want his info broadcasted - he is motivated to sell. Bike has been in his possession for a couple years now and has been virtually problem free ( clutch shaft seal replaced ). Normal wear for a 19 year old machine. It's been maintained it's whole life, mechanically sound and nothing wrong with the bike, he'd just rather get a newer trike. It's not without cosmetic flaws, the bike has been ridden, but it hasn't been neglected and is priced accordingly. 75k miles Includes service manual and OEM toolkit New windshield New battery New brakes New tires Freshly dealer serviced engine/final drive Floorboards and highway boards Heel/toe controls $3900 OBO

So much power you're curling the front of the bridge right off the ground -
Wife and I will get to Fontana about noonish Wednesday. Going to ride the dragon to foothills to 321 to E.L.A. Pkwy/Little River Gorge Rd to Sugarlands and back. Should make it back to the lodge around 5pm for check-in. Anyone there that early is welcome to join us
-
I was originally told that they don't reserve specific cabins, but I adamantly pleaded with Marie ( group rate agent ), and the reservation girl so we could get that specific cabin since it's the closest single bedroom cabin to the group cabin block ( lower 500's ).
-
According to Fontana map that's cabin 549. Wife and I are in Willow cabin 927 just off Welch on Cheoah Rd, which is only half as far from the group as last years cabin 655. Getting stoked for this, hope the weather forecast doesn't change and we have perfect weather again

From my past experiences, it turns into a parade of caging rubber necks...unless you could care less about traffic law down there...then there's probably some fun to be had
-
Well sir, if you follow us then you'll surely be abiding by those orders...you just need resist the blitz passing me like you pulled last year We usually get off the bikes every hour or 2 for a stretch, snacks/water, and check out some sites too....so it's up to you man Went to the museum our first year there, pretty awesome spectacle and a must see for anyone that hasn't been. And yes, if we take your route it will definitely be when we leave...much rather ride the dragon early to elude the afternoon rompers

If you plan to tame your pace a bit to a sturdy medium, you're always welcome to join us man. That invite goes for anyone looking to ride a medium pace group on 400-500 mile days down there
