I like this one, with a deflector cast into the horn body it would help push sound forward when mounted downward. Looks like they already include the cost of the relay into the price of the horn though

My Dad always used an old treadle operated Singer machine to stitch his thinner skinned projects but would hand stitch the thick stuff using an awl and sinew. He always had a big roll of catgut around He had tons of cutting equip, tooling punches, stamps, and dies, rolls of elk, deer, and cowhides. Wish I'd have snagged all that stuff up. Damn hindsight. Keep at it, learning should be simpler now with YouTube and web info. My Dad had to rely on experts and books back in the 60's-90's, took him many years to perfect

Nice work for your first pieces. Way better than any of my attempts at leather tooling. My Dad was quite a leather craftsman, wish I'd have taken interest in it when he was alive. He'd made holsters and sheaths for several friends and family, some with cool scrimshaw inlays. I'm not that crafty, and tend to pursue more expensive hobbies

Surely in the straights, but between me and that porkchop I'm at a huge centrifugal DISadvantage so you'd make some up in the corners The C14 and FJR's are still fairly capable for what they are and how much they weigh. I love my hypersport, but the older I get the more appreciation I have for less maintenance and more comfort. Shaftdrive, electronic ws, luggage, and a tourer riding position are sounding better every year

Guys on another forum did the same and really good equip too. May as well Wing it up a little. I've read they're detuned from the ZX, but still a powerplant. I really wanted one when I bought my 14, just couldn't swing $10k+ for a bike in '09. They handle some spirited play but can be thirsty, hard riding and I'm lucky to avg 20 mpg but ya gotta enjoy the pull Connie's probably my next step.

Dont know much about the Colorado other than looked at new ones when I was truck hunting back in early '09 and bought a Tacoma since it was the best deal for the most equip. Wasn't Granda080 selling his Isuzu "Colorado"? Same truck and his was CLEAN

Best way to start her out. MSF course, 250 sport, then when she gets tired of the little bike you can both trade in for fresh upgrades. Tell her congrats on taking steps towards being that much cooler

I love my Star. Planning on another someday myself. RS1's are good equip from what I've seen/heard. HJC doesn't compare imo
