Ah, kinda thought thats what you meant but had to ask. I completely respect that. We'll have to hook up for a "trial run" sometime soon and jam electrics instead of acoustics!
-
Enlighten me on this "A-man" you speak of and as to why it would interfere with your shared alcohol consumption with a fellow rider/guitarist/drinker?

Dumbass Caddy driver Maybe Cadillacs have nothing but blind spots?

Where are you buying these at? And, are they brass? BCG's are very hard to find, but we have help with building one for the wife's Dad and the other is currently deemed a spare part for now. Like Speedy said earlier it may have been more advantageous to buy a complete rifle @ $799 and part it out for your build plus spares

Sweet, we could use another pair or 2. Once you get a tally on sizes, wife and I would like mediums, and 2xl pup tents please

No sir, we plan to trailer the bikes there and back to alleviate any bike problems. She'll be riding a brand new bike and if either of us have issues, we'll have the means to get both bikes home. We will get to Hocking mid afternoon Friday to unpack at the cabin, could meet up with some of you early birds for dinner somewhere? There's 2 huge parking lots on the east side of Lake Logan just off 33 on Lake Logan Rd across the street from the beaches, may be a good sized meet spot so there's room for everyone to gather?

Congrats man, glad somebody here got in on this deal. Shit flys out of stock faster than most of us can get on the dealers home page. They may get more in soon, I'll keep my eyes peeled and revive this thread if they do in case another member has money to burn.

Wish I'd have bought a few 1000rd packs from Olde English back when they were $360 OTD damn hindsight
-
$.50/rd was ridiculous, but is about avg price these days. Plan to stash up casings to reload, and pickup deals off the shelf as we can to keep it as inexpensive as possible. Our local dealer has brass .223 limits 100rd/day @ $.40/rd ( $9 a box ) just need to stop in more often to bag my limit

Pretty sure the wife's new 300 was 'dry' ( some residual lube from factory test ) since they wouldn't let anyone start/ride it until the pre-delivery service/inspection was done. I'm not entirely sure thats accurate though. Hazmat may play a role in fluids being shipped in a bike too?
-
Complete uppers can be had now and then but PRICEY. Wife's bro is gonna supply an upper for one of the lowers to build for her Dad ( BDay gift ) and the other lower will go in the safe for a while until the right goods come along to build it. No rush on it since 5.56 is rough enough to find for 2, much less 3 rifles

Hydration is important for long rides. Best to start at least a day or 2 before the ride so its easier on you to go light on fluids the day of. Hydration packs are good too keep a rider from thirst, but eventually there will be a point at which your water balloon wont hold another drop. So, if this device lets you enjoy more riding and inspires confidence to ride farther, I say go for it. I'm luckily able to keep my hatches battoned for a couple hours or more, but I was also one of the riders that needed to sprinkle after the missed turn on last years Dream ride. Sometimes, ya just never know when ya gotta go.

Looks like this particular forum doesn't participate in that little gaym

Sad that this was actually a 'decent' deal when just 6 months ago we were fighting over $600 rifles. A guy would spend about the same on a build ( with better equip ) but be elbow deep in backorder
-
There's a disclaimer listed that transfers are only through licensed FFL dealers. Looked at a pair of lowers and would've just included my local gunshops info in the changed ship-to address with fax/phone. When it lands there I would just need to head to the gunshop for paperwork and pickup

They went quick, figured if someone wanted a decent starter rifle that the pricing wasn't too hateful for the current market. This same gun is/was selling at gun shows for $1200 in the last couple months.

Did they offer any ammo with the purchase?

Anyone that hasn't ridden Hocking area, it's one scenic twisty adventure. Haven't been since the wife and I honeymooned there almost 10 yrs ago, but its some sweet countryside

You guys are slippin', look at all of this ignored innuendo.....if somebody didn't know this was bike talk, they would have a bad case of piss crotch, teary eye, and soda spewed from every facehole Edit - btw, nice new system Hob.....looks sweet

The Chatterbox I had was a kit that came with the side lid clip. Your's isn't equipped I take it, so the double sided tape will work if you get the stoutest stuff that WONT damage the finish. Personally, if I had to tape mine on, I'd go with heavy velcro strips so it "could" be removed if need be

MR has a good track record, so imo there's not much to worry about. No one I know has an MR9, this is the first I've seen on this particular weapon. Does look like a quality piece though. Post up some range reports once you get it
