  1. We have plans already Saturday, but so far the weather looks good for this! Have fun, be safe
  2. Nice shots man! Good memories came back for a second there

    G*d dammit

Damn, sucks to hear man.....guess sometimes ya just never know about people :rip:
  4. What are the odds of a "re-election sale" at DeltaEpsilon? Any chance of it?
  5. Probably just a matter of time before it sweeps the continent since its recreationally legal in a couple now. I say tax the shit and create another source of funding to put the country deeper in debt?
  6. Awesome gift - Now you'll want 2 more to cover fore/aft/helmet views and a supercomputer to edit killer movies! I dont own any cams yet, but instinct tells me they are like tattoos and guns.....you'll want more and more:D
  7. I'm wondering what he USED to do that created all this damage
  8. A manager at our shop just came back to work after being off for 5 weeks with his shoulder cleanout/repair. He goes back in for the other side next month. Needless to say, its been a bit more relaxed at work this past month:D. Not had mine done, but they aren't in the best of shape so its probably inevitable for me someday. What did you have done? Rotator work?
  9. Nice upgrades, looks like you've added quite a bit of other quality equip to the bike - sharp ride
  10. It really depends on him man, I wouldnt be offended with an offer of $8k but I'm fairly forgiving and dont take things too personally......everyone is different. If you really want it and can swing the $8500, give it all to him in hopes he'd accept. But I'd bet he would assume it to be your first ( lower ) offer and counter higher than you want to go. Really its up to you in how badly you want the bike. Would a Duc dealer ask $10,500 for it plus T&T? If its a good deal in your opinion, go after it and make yourself happy.....thats what I would do. Its only money and my happiness costs some big bucks sometimes, just ask my wife!
  11. Not sure about that, not when the choppa can break 200mph in midair! That seems a larger liability doesn't it? Especially considering the cost differential of the vehicles/licensing/training - although there's a lot more to hit on the ground than in the air, so I'm willing to concede your point here:D
  12. I'd say if its the bike you really want and its cheaper than buying from a dealer, you're winning. I dont mind if I cant get an AWESOME deal so much as saving a little over the norm AND getting what I want. If he doesnt bite on your offer, let him leave it at the Duc dealer and see how long it sits there - if it sells, so be it and keep looking - if not, and he hits you up in a couple months.....cut your offer down to $7800:D

    pink suzuki gsxr 600

My wife would freakin flip for this bike.....please hide this photo ASAP!
  14. Offer the 8k, and see what he counters. But if he doesn't go for that then explain if he meets you halfway you'd split the difference at $8250? As long as you're offering more than the bids, I dont really see how he could be THAT offended. Thats how the game works. I wouldn't let him know you "could" go to $8500 unless ultimatums push you that far, then make that your final offer?
  15. Sharp ride, your other half will enjoy the cushy tushy pad and riding position I'm sure
  16. Run over there on a chilly morning and ask to take it for one last spin before commiting? Just wondering myself why he felt the need to warm it up first? Battery low? Did it spit/sputter/hesitate at low revs like the carbs are gelled a bit?

    walking dead

Babies cant hunt or grow crops, but they do make a good zombie snack giving one time to reload:D
  18. Awesome idea, but maybe a bit tenacious to try and pull off in just 16 days? Like others are mentioning, if it were me going out west ( and I've never done it, so this is simply speculation ) I would add a week just to pad time for poor weather, off seat days, mechanicals, etc. I would pack as many necessities as I could to help get me out of a bind in the middle of BFE like in the event of a flat, chain break, coolant/oil leak, other small items that could be stowed on the bike. You would know more than I about what issues could arise, and whats needed to keep a bike rolling since its your profession - but sounds like quite an adventure and one I would love to enjoy myself someday......just not on the bike I have now, more of what you have or some other tourer would entice me to take a month off work though
  19. That looks killer! Build yourself a naked trackwhore!
  20. Ummm, this link leads to my photos? At least it does for me
  21. Ah, well 2nd trackday at a completely new-to-you facility is probably still overwhelming for any novice. Thats really cool he got you in and as cheap as it was, but some personalized instruction would've been key to helping you learn the circuit and proper lines/speeds/braking markers. You're a lucky guy to have friends like that. Thats a killer setup out there! Some of the track guys here can surely gift much more knowledge and help critique your riding/issues far better than I ever could, so once you get that vid put it up!
  22. Quick thinking on your part for a first timer, good to hear nothing bad happened. And I wouldn't worry about poor racelines being your first venture, it's more important getting the fundamentals together with body position/smooth operation/keeping your head together in what you're doing. Learning more about the track is next time! Sounds like a win for sure and looking forward to the footage to darken my shade of envy-green:D
