  1. Had another thought - if you pull the rotors to bleed the calipers away from the mounts, ziptie the rotor thru a bolthole and around the caliper so it can all stay together while you pump and purge over and over. That way you can move the caliper around without the rotor falling out each time you open the bleeder
  2. He is trading his 250R for an F4i, sharp bike by the way Tom! Good deal, and a good step up for you man. If I didnt have plans after work the next few days, I'd help you out
  3. Viffer ftw! Not only because this place needs another VFR rider, but they are outstanding do-all machines without being overly powerful, yet sexy on the eyes. VFR800 that is, not the 1200

I'm suing the denim company that makes jeans with a waist that big, but a crotch that shallow
  5. Take the rotors off and bleed the calipers off the bike with each pad surface against its corresponding sides of the rotors, once bled then reassemble. Stack something under each rotor so the calipers can reach them. Its the harder way, but you'll be sure that each line/caliper is bled completely, and you'll have easier access to the bleeders
  6. Start one up here in the community section, then you can have a local group of your own
  7. I wish you had, would've liked some first-hand experience reports with those as I've eyed them for a while now.
  8. Somebody send that guy a thankyou card!

    That is a nice shot!
  10. Heard on the news that New York was hit with 13-15ft swells and some 7 million people are without power along the Eastern shores Sandy is one fierce bitch!
  11. Good luck with the bike shopping, anything in particular you are looking for? Streetbike, sportbike, cruiser, tourer?
  12. First I've heard of this, but it does sound odd as a business idea.......offering a discount in exchange for a large membership fee doesn't add up as a benefit for the consumer. Good lookin out James
  13. Well this sucks, AJ bought my old 96'r and we cooked up a bill of sale to get it setup since it predates required titling laws in Ohio, and he was told he needed a bos. So there's nothing that can be done in Ohio to title a bike thats NEVER been titled?
  14. I say make 'em tough it out, if the weather plays spoiler so be it. Shouldn't be treated any differently than any other city/town function meaning the show must go on. We had to trodge through rain, and snow a time or 2 when I was a kid, no big deal. I say suck it up, dress for it, and go earn that chocolate
  15. I like my Bell Star in comparison to past KBC, HJC, Shoei, and one cheap Vega. All about bang for the buck really. What do you want to spend? $500 and up, the Star series is great imo.
  16. 95% phone ( browser ) and 5% work pc.
  17. No doubt, that guy must have some ginsu chiclets in his mouth to pull that off.
  18. They are sweet bikes for sure, no common issues that I've heard, but I've never owned one either so its possible there's some common problems. Check for an RC51 forum, all answers would be there if anywhere. Congrats!

    walking dead

Yeah, the stub tool is cool. Always got to have a spare blade somewhere! "decent" episode but nothing from the prison and too much drama and not enough gore this time......meaning next week had better be extra bloody.
  20. Pull that fuel pump if theres no visible numbers on the bottom and check the other side of the pump for #'s, then maybe strip the foam thats covering some of the underside of the tank for #'s. Or just list it as is on CL, whoever is after one and knows what it is will buy it?
