Riding instead of driving would have given the wife and I over 4hrs of our life back sitting in traffic while coming home from TN weekend before last. There were a few fatalities on I-65 about an hour south of Louisville KY. We hit 3 jams in route back to Ohio, left 10am TN time and got home just before 9pm Ohio time HORRIBLE I saw backroads in Kentucky that I never want to see again :start Deliverance soundtrack: and was some frightening thoughts rolling thru my head every mile of that, but at least I didnt see any crosseyed billhillys in Biboveralls carrying guitars and flintlock rifles

The "other" neighbor, brainiac.......::sigh:: Anden, you wanna split rent?

Hidden agenda! Hidden agenda!

All good bro, be cool to have another 2wheeler to join our commute too:D
-
Nice choice, I've had mine for over a season and like them quite a bit. Like shadyone said, they look good on and off the bike - takes a bit to break them in, but not bad for the price and seem to be tough as nails

Possibly a 5th lobe? Rumor has it that's the new trend in stem-cell criminal advancement.....they're smarter than us, but they still can't out wit those pesky k9's?
-
And you LET him?!?! My wife would flipshit if I married my neighbor!! Oh man ....and then the fight started....
-
Now that you mention it, I do remember hearing something about all that - forgot what the problem was with the tanks though, was it vent related? Like the pump drawing it into vaccuum or something?
-
You could put in an app and resume at my wife's employer, believe they are hiring for CNC but not sure of the details. Pm her to find out more info, but the benefits are fairly good and the commute would be within 30 min of you to HuberHeights.

Adjustment to your liking and some minor repairs aside, you stepped up in performance quite a bit - next level attained Did he disclose why the tanks blue and body panels are red? Just curious

Gates don't keep people out.......stray bullets flying keep people out

I'm already fairly relaxed, but pass it here anyway Papa......I'm game:D I sort of agree with rsd here - there should be some sort of schedule kept simply to accommodate customer satisfaction. If I took my riding mower into a service shop and they said "we'll be in touch once we get around to it and let you know what the problem is" I wouldn't be leaving it there......afterall, if my lawn doesn't get mowed the city will evetually threaten to fine me, and ultimately do so if I neglect to cut it for too long. The same situation applies to my bike - if I'm forced to commute in my truck for more than a few weeks of beautiful weather, someone is eventually going to get a roadrage induced ambulance ride as I'm unable to lane-split past their assjackity texting, reading, or ignoring the surrounding public:nono:

I've been lucky enough to never have a stereo/amp/speakers stolen from any of my vehicles, but I did have a TransAm that was broken into and got a new guitar stolen years ago. $800 electric, gone - home owner's insurance covered it since it wasn't "installed" in/or part of the vehicle. I think it would be a great idea to mount a small airbag directly behind the stereo so the next time someone tries taking it out of the dash - bam! busted hands and face!

Great......now I gotta poop

You are definitely on point imo, but I just cant wrap my head around an over $75k Brembo braking system for a bike of ANY kind. Seems almost comical to me, I'm assuming these prices are so driven due to use of precious metals and TONS of engineering labor invested?
-
Thats a nice bike! I wouldnt sell that for less than $2500 outright and NO less than $2k trade towards another. Maybe see if he would take your bike and $1200-1300? Very fair offer
-
Thats more acceptable - still quite a difference but sometimes less is more when it comes to applying the power to the track - so it would be great if they would allow extra weight loss on the CRT or some other exceptional mods to level the field vs derating the proto's. I guess I just hate hearing about possible power restrictions on the highest class of roadracing machines
-
To drag witha Kia? Not a Kia on the planet that would pull that thing without a garage full of spare powertrains:nono:

Nice summary, easy to understand and simpler than reading a dozen articles to collect comparisons of the 2 classes - but its hard to believe 185hp is all that a "heavily modified" CRT can produce, when the new S1000RR can put out that much power with little cohercing beyond the factory tune? I'm interested in seeing how well the R&D proves it's worth as the season progresses, but cutting the nuts out of the GP bikes just to help the entire field stay more competitive throughout?......NOT the answer in my opinion. But like you said, it is where its going anyway. I know its another factor in Stoner leaving, but I truly think its not always about factory support and money so much as dialing the bike and rider into each other's best performances on a consistent basis. Tech3 is slowly proving this theory, not that they dont have money so much as showing competitive skill as an independant team by comparison.......AND having Dovi isn't hurting them either. Although the CRT's are completely different powerplant, its not enough change to drive me away from watching the series, I mean hell.....I watch AMA racing! I'd probably watch pitbike or scooter racing if it was publicized:D Thanks for the insight man, you've enlightened a dedicated fan right here

I am the same way, much comfort on left-handers and some comfort on rights - I think I favor lefthanders for more comfortable throttle control? Just a guess really. Seems to bind up the freedom of my wrist on deeper right turns, so I'm sure I am doing something wrong with body positioning - just street riding at an easy pace I dont care which way I am turning, its fine either direction. But when its aggressive riding to the right, I have some issues to resolve and/or a lot of practice needed too. It just feels so right to go left......but I HATE Nascar??? Wtf? I'm confident when I am sitting on the inside of a turn when in a cage or on a bike......weird since I'm right handed as well

would love to hit the Hocking valley sometime this year and ride - lots of good lean angle in that area!

It's sad to see Stoner go, but at least he's pulling out while he's winning. Didn't Rossi have an offer to go to Repsol after this season? That "might" not be a bad move if he goes for it since it seems Honda has their setup down in getting power to the track for each of their riders. Tech3 is definitely getting their shit together this season and being very competitive so far, I like that.......good to see some non-factory teams coming up. Bradl is kind of a surprise to me with his performance, and it's got to be confidence inspiring just riding in the elite class, so with that boost surely comes better finishes......at least for a while But he's on a good team too - and bike setup HAS to coincide with rider talent for the combo to work in getting top 10's in GP. I have zero clue as to how the CRT's differentiate from the typical GP bikes; other than engine related changes, that is. I haven't researched any of it yet, but from the looks of the finishes - they aren't very impressive just yet.....maybe more development will put them further up front?

That is THE coolest scooter.....ever.
