  1. ^^^ This......always good to cover thy ass - AND I'd make the buyer sign/date it in front of a witness or even a notary? Never "sold" any firearms......usually traded this n that
  2. Nice color choice - congratulamifications!
  3. WTF? If only Harley had used Japanese engineering.......at least they're stepping up after just one accident report
  4. Sweet! Want my address? I got a 3-car needing insulated and drywalled Old kitchen cab's are great when repurposed in the garage - mine has the old original kitchen from '57 and tons of bench space too.....now if only it was 100ft closer to the house and heated:(
  5. Sad, sad, sad......horrible outcome, but he passed away doing what he loved to do...... Marco will be missed - rest in peace rider Been a crazy season for a lot of the field, but this is the absolute worst news
  6. I cant ride this weekend, got my daughter AND its homecoming weekend but the weather is looking good for next week to get a ride in.....maybe?.....as long as the weatherman doesnt lie to us!
  7. I'd keep your bike, just spend a bit to fix all thats bad on it and hit the track again next year - dont worry about debt, all of that will be resolved eventually once your life insurance policy pays out
  8. Its candy thunder blue, her car is almost the same color blue too.....so if she gets this bike, her car will match her bike.....which ironically, is like my bike matching my silver truck
  9. Under 3k miles and its pristine with the exception of a couple small scuffs - tires/chain/sprockets/brakes/bikes overall condition are all good to go - from what I'm finding $2700 isnt bad in comparison to most of equal age/mileage/condition.....bone stock, female ridden 1 owner, and its Candy Thunder Blue - exactly what she wanted in a Ninja250. We'll more than likely counter their offer since it does need an oil change and lowering kit, so we'll see how they respond to a little lower offer.
  10. Pretty sure Competition Acc carries them but AFX helmets are only distributed through Parts Unlimited and Drag Specialties here in the U.S. - and ultimately up to dealers supplied by those 2 distributors whether they carry AFX lids or not.....so its almost a crap shoot finding a local retailer with shelf stock since its at their discretion
  11. If you have a small air compressor check this kit out - I have just a media gun with a little hopper on top, and it did a bike frame pretty well using just a 1 gallon pancake compressor.....simple to do, took me 10 minutes in the driveway....and fairly inexpensive - plus you'd have it next time you're in need http://www.harborfreight.com/portable-abrasive-blaster-kit-37025.html
  12. Redkow's CBR is my choice - he's been deemed an excellent caregiver of motorcycle maintenance around here ( lowside aside ) AND he's local to you for any follow-up questions or help with the bike - Thats a win win!!
  13. I dont do facebook, but it let me view the photo......and I did like it, but I cant "like" it Good luck on the giftcard pursuit!
  14. Glad you pulled the trigger on the swap - you definitely came out ahead on the deal - when you'd mentioned the owner had done some trackdays on it along with all the mods, I knew it would be a better machine.....suspension alone is a vast improvement over the Sprint's OEM setup, more versatility. Ti-LeoV exhaust have good tone? Never heard them in action, but have heard its great equipment and quality. You liking the bars better now than when you first installed 'em? All in all, good trade and sweet bike! I have overtime coming on strong but Tuesday 10/25 looks promising to meet up after work bro - hit me back if that works for ya
  15. Not a bad deal on the Seca, definitely be a good starter ride or little commuter - but we're looking into a newer 250 since she really likes the bodywork redesign vs. the older models - bumped your sale thread while I was in there too - glws!
  16. Edit - sorry to hear about him passing, I should look more closely at the dates before welcoming a new member - RIP rider
  17. Pics are there for me, you cant see them?
  18. Is the FZ800 taller in the seat then an FZ6 or FZ1? I'd figured it would've shared frame and suspension dimensions with the other 2 class bikes. Oh yeah, if the weather breaks again hit me up and we can compare schedules - between overtime, my daughter, and 2 bands, I'm almost too busy anymore.....
  19. That the kit we're looking at too if we get this bike - even has the lower kickstand
  20. You probably have 3 or 4" of inseam on my wife, I kid you not - she and I go places together and we probably look like a bear and a rabbit on a date :D AND you're surely a more accustomed to riding - she only has maybe 30 hours of riding experience since the class.....she'll get better and better the more we ride We saw the FZ's and she really liked those, just the extra width of the FZ over a 250 or even her low, narrow Intruder will play a part.......friend of mine had a ZZR600 for sale earlier this year that was his girlfriends......seat shaved, bike was about as low as it could get and she still couldnt touch both feet at once......ONLY reason we didnt buy it since she was afraid of dropping it everytime we stop or when backing it up - she gets better at the whole balancing / clutching / throttling and using it all in unison, then she might be ready for a taller bike like the new FZ800......she really liked that particular model. Btw, how do you like your new FZ1?
