Awesome pic, and thanks so much for your service. Its said a lot but its truely meant. People in armed forces sacrifice a lot and do a lot of shitty things so I can have the freedom to ride my bike.
So I have a buddy that doesn't really ride street but he's really good at track. He races a Daytona 675R and an Aprilia. I'm always joking with him that he needs to show me how to ride for real. I always ask him cause I've seen his pic in magazines but He usually is very humble and doesn't seem like he want to teach. He also really discourages aggressive street riding. He's been racing since a very young age and he told me that if I'm serious about learning how to really ride and drag knees and race right to find a little 50cc motorcycle and learn good race habits on that first. Do most of you guys agree? I've been looking into 50cc Motorcycles ( not mopeds or scooters ). Some look like sport bikes but I can't find any for sale anywhere. I did find one but they wanted 3K! Can I mabe start on a 250 that I don't care about lowsiding a few times? They are way cheaper and easier to find. Any ideas or advise would be appreciated
I was out riding today with a buddy of mine that owns a harley. He wanted to go to Powder Keg harley to look at stuff and buy parts so I figured id go with him. I didn't care. I was kind of nervous when we pulled up because they were pretty busy and there was a lot of the typical "harley type" people there. I was not only a younger looking guy but a sport bike rider. I have to say I was completely wrong. Everyone was super nice and I got a lot of questions about my bike and some guy even let me sit on his harley to see how it felt while he held the front wheel. Everyone was just great. I talked to an employee named Andrew while my buddy was at the parts counter and Andrew couldn't have been nicer. He knew I wasn't interested in buying anything but took a lot of time to answer questions and whatever. To sum up I was pleasantly surprised with the employees and even more surprised about the riders shopping there. If I ever do decide to buy a Harley that'd definately be a place id check out. Props to my Harley riding brothers
Since when is a minivan as fast as a bike? Best thing to do was exactly what you did...eventually. pull off and let the jackass take out his aggression on someone else. Either that or drop a gear and mash out and remind him he's driving a fucking minivan.
I was pissed for sitting through an entire episode of " breaking bad" when I had no idea what was going on just to see a 5 second trailer for the walking dead season 2. And the trailer didn't show anything but clubbing a zombie with a rock. Love the show though
