I figure its an innocent enough question. Ill happily admit that I'm not ready to drag knees and probably will never ride to the bikes potential. It'd just be nice to see what my ride looks like.

Ever hear of anything like this? I'm not quite at the point of dragging knees yet, I'm just curious as to how far in I'm getting. I'm not trying to be a badass, I just thought it'd be fun to see where I'm at

I wasn't really sure where to ask this so I stuck it here, I have a favorite road that I ride alot so I know the curves pretty well. Sometimes after the ride I check my rear tire to see if I can notice my lean angle on some of the turns. Problem is that my tires have a good amount of miles on them and I really can't tell any new scuffing. Can I rub a light coating of chalk on the tires to see how far over I'm getting or will this make the tire slick? Ever hear of anyone doing anything like this or something besides chalk? Thanks

Get suede interior. Also get 22 inch daytons and light up fuzzy dice for the rearview mirror. While you at it get candy green apple paint and 18s for the trunk. Top it off with alligator shoes and a nice baby blue suede suit for you

Its just that kbb says the bike isn't worth much. If I do sell it eventually does new paint up the value any or is it pretty much tossing money away.

1) Name is James, obviously but the tag "James" was already taken 2) I'm 30 but everyone thinks I'm much younger and I'm ok with that. It affords me more opportunity to act immaturely. 3) I'm a diagnostic technician for a luxury car maker 4) I've dated my wife since I was 16 years old but if I was to meet Alison Stokke id marry her in a second. 5) I've won multiple awards and scholarships for creative writing and want to write a book but can't figure out a reason why I haven't besides laziness and nothing to write about. 6) I'm a t-shirt guy and hate seeing people in the 2 button striped collared shirts when I'm in public 7) tomatoes and strawberries are the only foods that I hate 8) I'm always thinking about things to invent but so far have not acted on anything. 9) I've purchased the same shoes for 8 years straight. Adidas Adiracers in multiple colors. Just bought a new pair from Zappos 6/25 10) my favorite show is Destination Truth and I believe in bigfoot and ghosts and aliens and yes I'm a dork

I have to agree there.

So the TT is in excellent mechanical shape but its age is showing in the paint. I was thinking about painting it this winter. My buddy is a auto body painter at an amazing shop; so will do the bike pretty cheap. Is it even worth it?

Love my TT

First time I've heard of this involving a motorcycle but this is actually kind of a common occurance with people going the wrong way in the cleveland area on I-90 but usually with cars. Drunk or not this highway system has a serious flaw
-
Id love to just go. No luggage, no plans, no time limit. Id sell or junk all my crap, tell my boss to stick it and roll out.

Welcome to OR Oregon is tiny! Route 2 goes through it (90) and if ur not careful you can miss it
-
Knew it, yay 4 me Hope it worked out for ya man and you didn't have to get towed. If you did then know for the future that a weak battery can go out suddenly and randomly.

May I ask what highway you were doing a buck and change on? Listen, I agree that that behavior should be saved for the track. I believe that you are a reckless operator and this was not a isolated insident. I would venture a guess that you speed all around and have been lucky thus far not getting popped sooner. Ill venture a guess that this is not your first ticket; just the worst one yet. That being said... I guarantee that all of us are guilty of speeding occasionally. Its just too easy and fun to drop a gear and mash out. Granted some haven't been nearly 60 over the limit but I guarantee we have all ridden to the point of arrestability at some point... IF you got caught on one of those super rare occasions when you screw around for a minute then I'm truely sorry for you. With great power comes great wrist control. Just cause you bike can do 200+ doesn't mean that's what it has to do. By the way if you don't like my opinion then go pound salt. Your on a public forum telling everyone you got a 116 ticket in a 65 on a Busa. This had to be expected.

Welcome to OR from a Triumph guy

From the album: bike crap

I've never tried to "reunite" just to catch up. My motives are purely fiendish.

Does it crank? Does it crank slowly? If you know your battery has been weak, that would be the first place id start. ECUs can get stupid when voltage drops below 11volts. Just because you rode for 15 minutes doesn't mean the battery accepted the charge. If its been weak then its only been getting a surface charge and is sulfated.

Hello from the Armpit of Ohio as I read it,lol. (Ravenna)

I used to live in Sheffield lake and yes Elyria is terrible. Let's see...the "park" is overrun with crime, midway mall only carrys black people clothes even the greyhound bus station on I think it was 57 or 58 closed cause noone want to go to Elyria. The whole city smells of cooked GOYA food and fish from the polluted lake and all you hear is domestic violence beatings and bass from cars that are slowly rattling apart. If your really lucky mabe some of the rediculous pot holes on route 2 through elyria will swallow you and your bike and you won't have to live there anymore. One of the best decisions I've made was to get the hell out of Lorain County. What a shit hole. If Revenna is the armpit of ohio then Elyria is definately the butthole. -

How often do you guys clean your chain? Evertime you lube it? X amount of miles? Or just when it starts to look disgusting?
