  1. The little lady wants to learn to ride, so thanks to all you nuts, I sat out to find a XR100 for her. First find..... Can't complain for $400. Can't get her off the thing.
  2. Yes, he prolly was, but I have to say, I would vote no too. What makes one group more deserving?
  3. This all reminds me of a outrage I read on Twitter about the coke addict mayor from Canada. (Mayor Ford, IIRC) Everyone was pissed and calling him a bigot for voting now on a proposition that would give money to help Young, Gay, Homeless Men. Wait..... who decided it had to be narrowed down. If we are helping, shouldn't we help them all?
  4. According to Suzuki, frames are trash after warranty ends.
  5. I did on a big torque monster V-Twin. Got the same out of a PR2
  6. I've got 10k out of a rear Pilot Road 3 on my SV1000S. And I live in the land of 1 mile square blocks.
  7. I have an app on my phone that can program NFC tags. Wonder if I can program those.
  8. Pretty easy swap? Looks straightforward. Been looking at some Matris bits for mine. http://www.pjsparts.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=5300&osCsid=f23400e2eadc6962aac09c59f9fa6fe1 '> http://www.pjsparts.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=5300&osCsid=f23400e2eadc6962aac09c59f9fa6fe1 Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I537 using Tapatalk
  9. IWB my XD40SC all the time. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I537 using Tapatalk
  10. The FZ-09 is a sick machine, even in stock form.
  11. I was surprised as well when I saw one at the local gun shop during the panic buying. $100 for a stripped metal lower was a steal then. $40 is a steal now.
  12. Alot of places around me carry Anderson MFG in stock for $99. Never heard a complaint about them, but at the same time, don't know anyone using one. For $40, I might be tempted to grab one.
  13. Don't know if anyone here has one but.... http://www.dealernews.com/dealernews/article/bmw-issues-do-not-ride-notification-r-1200-rt
  14. Found Happy Valley Rd last fall during the government shutdown. Foothills Parkway was closed and had to hit other roads across the mountain.
  15. If it was forced entry, and it gets used for bad things, it isn't on you. That's like saying someone stole your car and crashed it and killed someone. They made the decision, not you.
  16. IIRC, the 2000 should have screw and nut tappets. The 97 and earlier kats had shim over bucket. But don't quote me....... check KatRiders.com
  17. A few years back, I put on a set of PR2s right before MotoGP in Indy. Day 1 they park us in the grass on the infield. Leave that night and my friend pulls up at one of the first couple of lights after leaving the track. Friggin roofing nail in the rear tire. Rode back to the hotel on the nail, pulled the nail and mushroom plugged it with my Stop & Go Plugger and limped the bike on the flat rear 1 block to air it up at the gas station. That tire ended up with 10k on it with trips down I 75 to Deals Gap, top speed runs, hard cornering, and fully loaded with luggage. Never leaked, never had a problem for over 9000 miles. Edit: I have learned since that happened to keep a small portable air pump with me, electric or hand pump. Had it all happend out in BFE, I would have been screwed.
