Ah the difference an ECU can make. My brother old TLS had the original 97 ECU. Recall not done. It would lift it in 1-3 no problem. Chop the throttle in 3rd, it would come straight up. There was a reason it was nicknamed "The Widowmaker."

My old Kat was +2 in the rear with a top speed of like 135. But it would do a 12.5 quarter mile. Not too bad for a 20 yr old 500 lbs bike.

The 97+ katanas are actually fairly aerodynamic. They were the test mule for the busa. Although I like a streetfighter kat much more.

Hard to beat a Honda. I have a 94 Civic EX 4dr 5sp that is my beater and MPG car. 33 MPG average with 240,000 miles on it. Love that thing. Bought it 5 yrs ago for $1400 with 186000 miles on it. I would drive it anywhere. Only things I have done to it are coil, distributor, full SS exhaust (header and all), extra wheels and tires for I can run studded snow tires, and tierod ends. By far the cheapest car I've owned to drive, maintain, and mod.

Kinda interested, just don't know if it fits the cash flow at this moment.
