  3. Whether you’re out for a cruise on the weekend or making your commute to work, the Alpinestars SMX-1 boots are ready to help you comfortably cover some miles. This low profile boot combines a low key style with protective elements from full size boots, and it is all done with Alpinestars quality. The protection comes from armor that is found in the form hard plastic protectors around the heels and foam-backed guards on the lateral side of each upper portion. Perforations exist on the sides and front of each boot, which, when combined with the 3D mesh inner liner, help your feet breathe. A racing-inspired outsole has its innards topped by an EVA foam footbed that’s profiled with a gentle arch in it so the foot stays planted. Plus, the inner line/footbed combination will quickly mold itself to your foot after a short time. The boots are, after all, comfort-made and purposefully protective. If you are interested in the SMX-1 boots, or any other Alpinestars product, just get in touch with Nathan and he’ll be happy to help. 4. Ah sorry I missed this, PM heading your way now.
  5. Sorry I only have this in the gold pictured here and grey/matte black like this -
  6. Speed and Strength excels at producing gear that provides a great deal of bang for the buck, and their SS1500 helmet is a great example of this. It comes with a pricetag that is under $200, which means that this quality helmet definitely punches well above it’s weight - especially when you take a look at the features. Starting inside, the SS1500 wraps your head in a plush Coolmax liner that has moisture wicking qualities and is fully removable. Having a moisture wicking liner doesn’t do much for you if there is no ventilation, but Speed and Strength have that covered with their Airstrike direct course ventilation. This is a system of three adjustable vents at the front and one large exhaust at the rear, which forces air directly where it is needed most, while simultaneously pulling warm, moist air out the back. The interior also has a built-in pump system that allows you to inflate the cheek pads for a custom fit and to provide more isolation from wind noise. Like all Speed and Strength helmets, the SS1500 comes with their optically correct, anti-fog and anti-scratch outer faceshield. Clear is included, but they can also be had in dark smoke, gold mirror and silver mirror. Behind the outer shield is a fully retractable sun-visor which Speed and Strength call DVD, or Drop Visor Design. The visor provides great coverage and is operated by a well thought out, spring-loaded mechanism. If the idea of a feature-rich helmet that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg appeals to you, the Speed and Strength SS1500 should not be overlooked. If you're interested in this, or any other Speed and Strength helmet, you can order one of your own by calling Nathan at 866.931.6644 ext. 809 or by sending a message through this forum. Is email more convenient for you? Feel free to send one to FORUM at RIDERSDISCOUNT dot COM and we’ll get back to you right away! The Speed and Strength SS1500 is shown here in the Gold Hard Knock Life graphic, which is also available in Matte Grey/Black. Solid colors and other graphics are also available. The retractable visor provides great coverage for your eyes. It is operated by a slick, spring-loaded mechanism on the lower left side of the helmet. Adjustable vents at the front direct air into the helmet While a large exhaust at the back pull hot air away from your head. The SS1500 allows you to pump air into the pads for a custom fit and to reduce wind noise from the outside. Everything is secured by a Speed Strap quick release chin strap.

  9. Erick, Clean out your inbox, looks like the new website restored every single old PM.
  10. Yes we do, which pair are you looking at purchasing?
  11. Erick, We do not carry Dianese at this time.
  12. This deal is still available, but we won’t be able to say that for much longer. We’re down to the last two sizes, Large and XL, so don’t miss out! We are not able to offer amazing prices on premium helmets like this very often, and you can order one by calling Nathan at 866.931.6644 ext. 809.
  13. Cox Radiator Guards are an inexpensive solution to a potentially very expensive problem - a leaky radiator. This can not only lead to rashed bodywork, but also an overheated motor, leaking head gasket, and even a trip to the hospital – the list goes on and on. These guards are handcrafted in the USA and come shaped to fit your specific motorcycle. Each package includes everything you need for an effortless installation, with or without the radiator mounted to your bike. The frame is constructed from 5051 aluminum and the expanded aluminum screen is durable, yet lightweight and strong to withstand debris. The aluminum receives an anodized finish, which may be a more expensive process than the powder coating that some competitors use, but it provides several benefits. Anodizing effectively stains the metal, while powder coating adds an extra layer. That extra layer can not only reduce airflow and the metal’s ability to shed heat, but also chip. The screen that Cox Racing uses is another aspect that sets them apart from the competition. It is aligned in such a way that any debris kicked up from the front tire and comes towards the radiator from a low angle doesn’t stand a chance of getting through. This very convenient for those that ride on the track, as you don’t have to worry about beads of molten rubber flinging up and getting stuck in the fins of your radiator. Rubber build-up can inhibit airflow and is a pain to remove once it cools and hardens. Adding a Cox Radiator Guard frees you from having to worry about picking rubber out of your radiator after your next track day. We’ve used Cox Radiator Guards on many of our own bikes and can attest to their quality. If you’re interested in adding one to your bike you can give Nathan a call at 866.931.6644 ext 809 and he’ll be happy to help. If email is more convenient you can feel free to send one to FORUM at RIDERSDISCOUNT dot COM for a quick response. Shown here for the BMW S1000RR. Cox radiator guards come with everything needed for installation. They use a combination of hard mounts, zip ties and adhesive-backed foam pads. Instead of a simple wire mesh, Cox uses expanded aluminum that is aligned in such a way that it blocks debris without inhibiting airflow to the radiator. We use Cox Racing guards on all of our bike and can attest to their quality and effectiveness.
  14. All PMs replied, thanks everyone!
  15. Here’s a look at stealth version of the Speed and Strength Seven Sins Leather/Textile jacket. The all black body with a subtle, blacked-out logo gives it a low-key style that will go with any bike. There is also a textile version of the Speed and Strength Seven Sins jacket, which you can view on our website: Speed and Strength Seven Sins Textile Jacket
  16. Yes to all those questions! PM on the way.
  17. The motors have arrived and things are getting back underway here at the shop. Two of the bikes have their motors back in, but the first is a little further along. The front end is coming together, with the Attack Triple Clamps, OEM forks with K-Tech internals, Scotts steering stabilizer and Renthal clip-ons in place. A Motion Pro quick turn throttle kit is going on as we speak as well. At the rear, the K-Tech shock has been installed. The second bike isn’t there yet, but it will be following shortly.
  18. Valentino Rossi traditionally brings a custom helmet to his home race of Misano, and the 2012 round was no different. AGV has released this helmet, dubbed the Boxer, as a limited edition for the GP-Tech. The Aldo Drudi design depicts Rossi, who was nearing the end of his run aboard the Ducati at the time, as a boxer that is on the ropes, yet still optimistic. Despite the bruises, bandages and a black eye, he is still seen asking the question “Come vado?” (How am I doing?). The back of the helmet shows his two ever-present bulldogs, Cesare and Cecilia, in boxing gloves and sporting a black eye each. His Sun & Moon logo is also found on the back, with Marco Simoncelli’s number next to it as a tribute to his late friend. The AGV GP-Tech Rossi Boxer helmet is limited to just 1500 worldwide, but we also have plenty of other Rossi helmets available if there's another one that you're looking for. If you're interested, just give Nathan a call at 866.931.6644 ext. 809 or send him a message through the forum and he can help you. Is email more convenient? Feel free send one to FORUM at RIDERSDISCOUNT dot COM and we’ll get back to you right away! Rossi is seen asking “Come vado?” - meaning “How am I doing?” Like on most of his special helmet designs, Rossi’s bulldogs make an appearance. The pair are depicted with black eyes and boxing gloves. The design also features Marco Simoncelli’s number as a tribute to the fallen rider. Each helmet is an individually numbered and the release is limited to just 1500 worldwide.
  19. There is no question that the HJC RPHA-10 is one of the best deals out there when it comes to helmets and we’ve already shown you the models sporting the replica graphics of MotoGP racers, Jorge Lorenzo and Ben Spies. The RPHA-10 race replicas are not the only options, however, and while already affordable in those trims, they become an even better value in some of the other graphics. We will be giving you a look at them in this thread - starting with the curiously named, but very good looking RPHA-10 Zappy. The shell of the RPHA-10 is an advanced composite that combines carbon fiber, fiberglass epoxy, aramid epoxy and organic fibers in a precisely aligned weave that excels in strength, energy absorption and weight savings. HJC calls this their Performance Integrated Matrix (P.I.M.) construction and it saves weight by reducing unnecessary overlap and resin build-up. The PIM shell is not only strong and light, but it is also aerodynamic and quiet thanks to extensive CAD design and wind-tunnel testing. A hot helmet is an uncomfortable helmet, so HJC made sure that the RPHA-10 is able to keep your head cool and comfortable in warm weather. Ventilation comes from two large intakes on the top of the head, and one on the chin. All three are highly adjustable to allow for variable amounts of airflow depending on the conditions. These vents move a lot of air through the helmet without the higher noise levels that can come from some ventilation systems. Inside the shell, the full-removable/washable SilverCool liner helps wick away moisture and features a Gingko extract coating for a natural anti-bacterial guard. All RPHA-10 helmets come with HJC’s newest HJ-20 Pinlock shield and insert for the best in fog prevention. These shields also feature an easy to use center locking mechanism that prevents the shield from accidentally popping open if you turn your head to look behind you or to the sides. If you’re interested any of the RPHA-10 graphics, or other HJC helmet, you can get in touch with Nathan for expert sizing advice and more information. Feel free to send him a message through this forum or give him a call at 866.931.6644 ext. 809. You can also send an email to FORUM at RIDERSDISCOUNT dot COM and we’ll get back to you right away! The HJC RPHA-10 Zappy is shown here in the Red/White/Blue, but it is also available in a Black/White/Grey. The Zappy graphic is very sharp and features a red that fades to a slight orange tone from front to back.
  20. I know many a 2nd gen R6 rider who would love to have that high mount Micron exhaust...
  21. Competition Werkes exhausts are also available in carbon fiber for select models. The combination of carbon and the amazing welds gives them a very unique look. You can get more information by calling Nathan at 866.931.6644 ext. 809, or by sending an email to FORUM at RIDERSDISCOUNT dot COM.
  22. The design philosophy behind Arai Vector 2 helmet is simple - Everything you want, Nothing you don’t. They consolidated many of the features from their top-of-the-line models like the Corsair-V into this more affordable version. It may come with a lower price tag, but this doesn’t mean that it is lacking one bit bit of the legendary handmade quality Arai is famous for. Like the Corsair-V, the Vector-2 features a wider eyeport for improved peripheral vision, a fully-removable interior liner and a stronger shell around the lower (and now wider) opening. The wider opening is part of what Arai calls the Hyper-Ridge. In addition to being structurally stronger, it makes it easier put the helmet on as well. Intake and exhaust vents have also been revised to allow for more airflow into, and out of the helmet. Another attribute that the Vector-2 shares with the Corsair-V is the the intermediate oval interior shape. This is the fit that works for the widest range of riders, and the inclusion of customizable pads makes getting the perfect fit even easier, right out of the box. There are 5mm peel away layers of foam in the cheek pads and at the temples that let you free up more space if you need it. The Arai Vector-2 is available in a wide range of solid colors and graphics, all of which are available from Riders Discount. If you’re interested in this, or any other Arai helmet, just get in touch with Nathan at 866.931.6644 ext. 809 and he’ll be happy to help. You can also send a PM, or shoot an email to FORUM at RIDERSDISCOUNT dot COM and we’ll get back to you right away! The Arai Vector-2 Loop graphic shown here is new for 2013.
