  1. All my ETA's show a release date of today for the Andes. Should be available early next week. PM on the way
  2. He actually did get a hair cut recently haha. Daytona was the shortest it's been in a while...
  3. Alpinestars definitely broke away from the standard blacks, reds, and blues with the White/Black/Gold version of the Motegi suit. We think it's a good look. What about you?
  4. We have one dedicated to bicycle shorts and techno
  5. Another new addition to the Alpinestars jacket line for 2013 is the Celer. This jacket brings a fresh and aggressive style to the more technical end of the line-up. It also packs the protection and comfort features that make Alpinestars one of the biggest names in riding gear. Like most Alpinestars jackets, the majority of the Celer is made up of premium 1.3mm leather, with stretch panels of accordion leather and other synthetic stretch materials mixed in for comfort. The protection provided by the leather chassis is bolstered externally by dual-density TPU sliders on both the shoulders and elbows. CE-certified armor is layered underneath the leather and sliders in both of these areas as well. Those that ride on the road know that being seen is a key to staying safe, which is why Alpinestars also added reflective details into the back side of the jacket. Being on the technical end of the Alpinestar jacket spectrum means that the Celer has their most aggressive pre-curve. This doesn’t make it uncomfortable, however. Accordion leather stretch panels in the arm and upper shoulders add flexibility without taking away from the abrasion resistance. Stretch panels also fill the armpits and run down the arms all the way to the end of the wrist. This area is unlikely to come into contact with the pavement, so a lighter weight aramidic stretch panels were used for even more flexibility and breathability. Anyone that’s had an older, or cheaply made jacket in the past knows how uncomfortable a stiff, leather collar can be on the neck. Thankfully, Alpinestars is familiar with this, and lined the collar of the Celer with soft neoprene. The back of the neck is covered with a light and airy mesh that connects to the fully ventilated back hump. Additional airflow can be had by opening any of three zippered vents found near each shoulder on the front and the lower back. If you’re looking for a technical jacket that is at home on the street, in the canyons, or to zip into a pair of leather pants for the occasional track day, the Alpinestars Celer jacket is a great option to consider. You can get your own by contacting Nathan through this forum or by calling 866.931.6644 ext. 809. If email is more convenient, feel free to send those to FORUM at RIDERSDISCOUNT dot COM and we’ll get back to you right away! The Alpinestars Celer jacket comes in Black (pictured), Black/White/Red, Black/White/Yellow, and Black/Red/Grey. A view of the rear shows the fully perforated hump, mesh neck, and the zippered Dynamic Flow Control vent on the lower back. Dual density TPU sliders help guard the shoulders... ... and elbows. MSRP $599.95
  6. Alpinestars quality and protection that won’t break the bank - that’s quite simply the best way to describe the brand new Alpinestars Motegi suit. This new release occupies the same price point as the Carver, but it has even more features to keep you safe and comfortable. The Motegi suit is constructed using 1.3mm full grain leather for maximum abrasion resistance, with the panels held together using sturdy, multiple-stitched seams. One of the new features for a suit at this level is the use of external TPR armor on the shoulders. This is a clear improvement over the bare leather shoulders of the Carver. More armor is found inside, with CE certified Bioarmor inside the shoulders, elbows and knees. Those looking for more protection have the option using the three snaps between the shoulders to secure a back protector, and adding Bionic pads to the pockets in the chest. As with most of their more affordable suits, Alpinestars designed the Motegi with a less aggressive cut than the ultra-aggressive higher end suits, meaning that it is possible to stand up off of the bike without it feeling like a workout. This doesn’t mean that it is any less comfortable on the bike, however. The Motegi features durable Aramidic stretch panels that run down the length of the underarms, sides of the torso, crotch and back of the legs for mobility. Aramidic fiber also breathes very well, which works with the fully perforated front panel to keep feeling fresh. The back of the suit is also designed to keep air moving with a perforated hump and a mesh panel at the neck. If you’re interested the Motegi, or any other Alpinestars product, feel free to give Nathan a call at 866.931.6644 ext. 809, or contact him through this forum. Is email more convenient? Feel free to send those to FORUM at RIDERSDISCOUNT dot COM and we’ll get back to you right away! The one piece Alpinestars Motegi Suit is available in Black/White, White/Black (Pictured), White/Black/Red, and White/Black/Gold. MSRP is $799.95. The front of the suit is fully perforated for maximum ventilation. A fully ventilated race hump directs air down your back, while larger perforations give the air a place to escape. The Motegi’s perforated leather extends to the legs as well. TPR shoulder armor is a first for Alpinestars at this price. Aramidic stretch material extends from the armpit to the wrist to help the suit remain flexible without compromising any protection.
  7. It would to me, but I always put "clean title in hand" or "clean title on lien" to avoid any confusion.
  8. She's sitting on the sidelines right now - She's a backup to the backup bike, so nothing planned until needed.
  9. Marty, get in touch with Bree, our team manager, at bree@ridersdiscount.com
  10. Here's how all three of the girls sit now that the motors have been sent off. Seems like a good, clean stopping point for now.
  11. The motors are out and on their way to Hanshaw Racing Engines This is a good shot showing a few of the many changes on the new motor. The heat exchanger has been completely redesigned, and you can also see the separate cylinders from upper case half.
  12. We have a few spare parts left (the picture doesn't show it, but there is some organization to this mess)
  13. Here's a breakdown of how things are run from the front to the ABS. The black wheel speed sensor cable is clipped to the brakelines and follows them from the front Up through the frame (it is disconnected in this photo and would normally connect to the harness) And back to the ABS unit. The entire system is very rigid and held its shape even when we removed it from the bike.
  14. Shed weight and add style to your tank by adding a replacement gas cap assembly from Driven Racing. These are machined from aerospace grade aluminum before being given their high quality, black anodized finish. Aftermarket caps can occasionally lead to venting issues, but this doesn’t seem to be a problem with the Driven piece. The base comes with a vent hose that, when installed properly, vents very well. The cap and the base are sold separately, which means that you can choose the accent color for the cap. Available colors include Black, Blue, Gold, Red and Silver. Driven Racing gas caps are available for most modern sportbikes. If you’re interested and would like to check the availability, just get in touch with Nathan by calling 866.931.6644 ext. 809, or by messaging him through the forum. If email is more convenient, feel free to send those to FORUM at RIDERSDISCOUNT dot COM and we’ll get back to you right away! The Driven Racing Gas Cap base features a black anodized finish, high-quality machining and a vent hose. The caps are sold separately, allowing you to choose the color. Black and Gold are shown here, but they are also available in Blue, Red, and Silver. Driven's gas caps are made in the USA.
  15. Here's a look at one of the many differences between the 2013 Triumph 675R and the previous generation. The top photo is of the new 2013 frame, and it's obvious that it's designed for more airflow. The bottom photo is of the previous frame, which is much more restrictive.
  16. They got annihilated on Reddit for that. There are definitely some other quality options for much much less available now.
  17. Motor is out of bike one Motor #1 waiting to be dropped off at Hanshaw Racing Engines
  18. Such a good looking bike in stock form A few good shots of the girl with her clothes off
