  1. Orderd some a* sp2 gloves from mike today..they make it very easy to spend money! Haha thanks again mike pretty excited to see the fedex guy..again!

You are welcome! Thanks once again for the repeat business!

  2. Spidi’s X-One boots are a comfortable all-around design with an aggressive style that wrap your feet in a highly protective case of leather and armor. Each boot’s outer shell is constructed with bovine leather that is reinforced around the ankles with a hard polyurethane shell. A hard slider is also used to cover the lateral malleolus on each foot. The toes too, are looked after in a similar manner with an integrated replaceable steel toe slider for those that corner low. To keep shifter pegs from digging through the tops of the toes, a shift pad is also part of the toe protection areas.

Several aspects of the boots are targeted at providing maximum comfort in what is essentially high-top shoe design for motorcycle riders. Perforated leather can be found aside of the area where the arch of the foot can be expected to reside. More perforations are located at the top outer side of each boot as well. And the hard plastic heel cups have screens built into them which helps pull stale air from within the boot out to the atmosphere. In an effort to keep engine heat away from the feet, Spidi engineers were clever in that they did not place any vents on the inner-facing side of the boot. To keep air moving around within, a very effective three-dimensional mesh liner is employed. Your feet won’t feel clammy, even on a hot summer’s day when you’re cruising in a pair of Spidi X-One boots!

Getting into and out of the boots is simple with an inner-facing zipper and you’ll find the inside a very comfortable place to put your feet. Despite the armor features mentioned above, these boots will make your feet feel equally at home when wandering the city streets as they flex naturally as you move. Clearly, Spidi wanted to provide the casual rider with all-around comfort on, or off the bike.

Available in US sizes 8 – 13, call Mike at 866.931.6644 x 804 for more information. You can also send a note to FORUM at RIDERSDISCOUNT dot COM with SPIDI X1 BOOTS in the subject line and be sure to let us know what size you need so we can get back to you right away.

A look from the top of the boot reveals the 3D mesh liner. This mesh improves air circulation within the boot by providing a space between the foot and the outer shell for air to move about.

    spidi_x_one_boots_black_4.jpg

The XPD sole is also ventilated and features dual-density padding for improved comfort.

    spidi_x_one_boots_black_3.jpg

Stainless steel toe sliders are an integral part of the toe box as is the shifter pad.

    spidi_x_one_boots_black_7.jpg

Vulcanized rubber is used to create the soles which have a grippy, but long-wearing design that should provide plenty of traction in wet or dry conditions.

  3. Built using two different layers of impact-absorbing honeycomb structures, the Alpinestars Bionic Air back protector is slimmer and lighter than other Alpinestars back protectors for even more comfort and excellent safety. The outer honeycomb polypropylene layer dissipates impact energy over a larger area while the inner elastomeric foam is responsible for absorbing said energy. Like previous Alpinestars back protectors, the outward-facing surface is rigid, so it’s made in facets that permit plenty of flexibility without being uncomfortable. The rider-facing side is made with a soft fabric surround with mesh pockets in its center allowing air to pass through for exceptional climate control. With these construction techniques, Alpinestars’ Bionic Air back protector is made slim and light, allowing it to closely conform to the body’s shape which not only makes it less noticeable as you ride, but also makes getting into and out of your gear a little easier! Best of all, we have these in sizes X-small to X-large for the most comfortable fit possible.

Call Mike at 866.931.6644 ext 804 for expert sizing guidance and fast shipping. If you prefer, you may also email us – send those to FORUM at RIDERSDISCOUNT dot COM with ALPINESTARS BIONIC AIR BACK PROTECTOR in the subject line and we’ll get back to you right away.

The Alpinestars Bionic Air back protector is held in place with a combination of adjustable elastic shoulder straps and dual waist belts. The large waist bands use dual Velcro straps: one positions the back protector correctly and the other allows the wearer to adjust how tightly it fits against the body.

    alpinestars_bionic_air_back_protector_6.jpg

The shoulder straps themselves are mounted on pivot points high up to ensure a perfect fit. Notice that the pivot mechanism is prevented from coming into contact with the body by the fabric surround so as not to induce any discomfort.

    alpinestars_bionic_air_back_protector_3.jpg

The part that faces the rider has large channels molded into its surround, allowing air to pass through. The inner mesh pockets further aids in cooling comfort.

  4. RR rearsets from CRG take the design of their SSR model and simplify it to give the racer exactly what he needs; light, reliable rearsets that function flawlessly. The footpegs can be moved over a six position range of .5”-1.5” back and 1”-1.5” up when compared to the stock location. Keeping your feet firmly attached to the bike, the footpegs are broad and grippy, but not so much so as to destroy the bottom of your riding boots. It’s also possible to adjust the pitch of the footpegs forward and back so you can obtain exactly the feel you want. Both the brake and shift levers have a folding tip with beefy construction that should hold up to crashes well. Machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and tipping the scales at around three pounds a set, CRG claims these rearsets have the highest strength to weight and stiffness to weight ratios of any rearsets on the market.

    Available for the following motorcycles:

    Suzuki GSX-R600 06-10

    Suzuki GSX-R750 06-10

    Yamaha YZF-R6v 06-11

    Yamaha YZF-R1 07-08

Six-position adjustment assembly is seen here. Notice that every piece of hardware is stainless steel.

    rr_rearsets_crg_honda_cbr600rr_8.jpg

Wherever possible, reliefs are machined into the metal to keep the rearsets light yet strong.

    rr_rearsets_crg_honda_cbr600rr_5.jpg

Folding toe peg is oval shaped with no sharp edges to catch on your boots.

    rr_rearsets_crg_honda_cbr600rr_1.jpg

The red adjuster that’s attached at the root of the foot peg allows the user to adjust the throw ratio of each control for a perfect feel.

    rr_rearsets_crg_honda_cbr600rr_4.jpg

Kits are black anodized for long-term durability and have the feel of CRG’s own legendary Roll-a-Click levers. There are no sharp edges anywhere (except the pegs of course!) and the feel of the finish machining is superb.

Akrapovič's "big break" came from their collaboration with the Kawasaki WSBK team way back when the ZX-7R was still top dog in Team Green's lineup, so it's no surprise that the company designed a very nice pipe for the Gen 4 ZX-10R. The 4-2-1 ZX10R exhaust layout promotes a broad spread of increased power output over the entire RPM range. Because it's constructed entirely from titanium (even the muffler's internals are Ti!), this system weighs 10.8lbs less than the OEM pipe. A removable muffler plug is included as standard if you're worried about upsetting the neighbors.

This is arguably the best air filter for the Gen4 Kawasaki ZX10R; BMC's CRF Air Filter. Not only is this element lighter than their standard race model, but it's greater surface area allows even more efficient airflow into the combustion chamber. These filters were developed specifically for high-performance applications and, while they're not cheap, if you need to squeeze every pony out of your motor, this carbon fiber framed BMC filter is the one for your bike!

  9. If you want to get more bang for your buck out of your rear sprocket, take a look at these steel rear sprockets from Vortex. Machined from carbon steel with teeth that have been hardened for longevity, Vortex steel rear sprockets will easily outlast an equivalent aluminum chainwheel! Vortex steel sprockets are precision machined for concentricity and then carefully lightened for a minimal weight penalty over their aluminum counterparts. After machining is complete, each unit is electroplated in a black satin finish to resist corrosion and keep looking good for as long as the teeth last.

We have complete kits available in OEM and 520 chain sizes for most late-model motorcycles.

For more information, call Mike at 866.931.6644 x 804 or send a note to FORUM at RIDERSDISCOUNT dot COM with VORTEX STEEL CHAIN KIT in the subject line and please be sure to specify the model and year of the bike you own, the chain pitch that you need (520, 525 or 530) along with the number of teeth you want on the front and rear sprocket.

Vortex steel sprockets are available in black only and are machined to be as light as possible while out-lasting an aluminum sprocket that’s exposed to same stresses.

  10. Akrapovič has finally released their Racing Line full exhaust system for Triumph Daytona 675 motorcycles! And, for those of you who already purchased an Akrapovič Triumph 675 slip-on exhaust, we also have an upgrade kit available that replaces the remaining OEM exhaust on your 675 so you don’t need to purchase a full system!

Akrapovič full system exhausts for the Triumph Daytona 675 weigh approximately 6.5lbs less than stock, with most of that weight being eliminated high up under the seat where it will be noticed most. To reduce complexity and maximize engine performance, there is no provision for either, a catalytic convertor or an exhaust flapper valve. As a result, on Akrapovič’s own in-house SuperFlow dynamometer, using an unmapped ECU, the Racing Line full system yields an additional 5.1 horsepower at 13,100 RPM. Torque is also looked after with a boost from 6,500 RPM all the way up to red line. And, while these gains may look modest, these numbers were obtained using a bike with no other tuning modifications at all! A competent tuner would likely be able to provide additional power improvements.

Akrapovič is the preferred exhaust supplier for many of the world’s top racing teams at both domestic and international levels. We also fit them on many of our own bikes because they perform flawlessly, go on without issue and sound fantastic.

Currently, supply is extremely limited: only a few full systems and header kits are available at this time!

For more information, call Mike at 866.931.6644 x 804 or send an email to FORUM at RIDERSDISCOUNT dot COM with AKRAPOVIC 675 EXHAUST SYSTEM in the subject line and we’ll get back to you right away. Remember, we have entire Akrapovič 675 exhaust systems or header kits for those of you that already have a slip-on exhaust from Akrapovič!

The Akrapovič Racing Line full system fits all 2009-2011 Triumph Daytona 675 and Daytona 675R models. Each 675 exhaust includes everything required for installation including clear directions with pictures and all necessary mounting brackets.

    akrapovic_racing_line_fs_triumph_daytona_675-2.jpg

For those of you that already have an Akrapovič slip-on exhaust, we offer this header-only kit, so you can eliminate that catalytic convertor and exhaust valve for a lighter, more powerful Triumph.

    akrapovic_racing_line_fs_triumph_daytona_675-1.jpg

The exhaust itself is fabricated entirely in-house at Akrapovič’s facilities in Slovenia with top-grade stainless steel tubing and flawless welds holding it all together.

    akrapovic_racing_line_fs_triumph_daytona_675-6.jpg

Stainless steel headers feature hydroformed primaries that have no creases anywhere in their complex shape. These improve exhaust scavenging and consequently, increase power output potential.

    akrapovic_racing_line_fs_triumph_daytona_675-9.jpg

Exhaust spigots are CNC-machined to complement perfectly the OEM D-shaped exhaust ports.

    akrapovic_racing_line_fs_triumph_daytona_675-10.jpg

The aforementioned fittings are held in place by equally well-made flanges for a secure, leak-free fit against the Triumph’s cylinder head.

    akrapovic_racing_line_fs_triumph_daytona_675-3.jpg

Primary headers are fitted with crossover pipes to provide a broader spread of power, especially in terms of midrange performance. Notice the smooth welds throughout this Akrapovič exhaust system for the Triumph 675.

    akrapovic_racing_line_fs_triumph_daytona_675-4.jpg

There’s also a lambda sensor bung fitted so you can take advantage of a self-tuning system like the one from Bazzaz Performance.

    akrapovic_racing_line_fs_triumph_daytona_675-8.jpg

Akrapovič exhausts are completely CNC-machine bent for a perfect fit and maximum power output performance. Slip-fit joints go together perfectly for a leak-free exhaust system.

    akrapovic_racing_line_fs_triumph_daytona_675-7.jpg

Akrapovič Racing Line full system exhaust are available in a complete package or as a retrofit for anyone that has already purchased an Akrapovič slip-on exhaust.

  11. LSL is famous for their outstanding frame sliders and rearsets, but they also make some nifty little add-ons for motorcycles like these fluid reservoirs for motorcycle brake and clutch master cylinders. Machined entirely from billet aluminum, LSL fluid reservoirs are available in two capacities: 35mL for brake applications or 20mL for clutch applications. The TÜV approved design replaces the plain plastic OEM fluid reservoir with a tastefully machined design that’ll set your bike apart from the rest without requiring any expensive custom modifications. Each kit comes with a bracket which is compatible with most Kawasaki, Suzuki, Triumph and Yamaha motorcycles. Honda and KTM motorcycles require an extra mounting bracket (sold separately).

Brake kit MSRP $109.95, clutch kit MSRP $99.95

For more information, call Mike at 866.931.6644 x 804 or send an email to FORUM at RIDERSDISCOUNT dot COM with LSL FLUID RESERVOIR in the subject line and be sure to specify what color you’d like, if you need a clutch or brake reservoir and we’ll be back to you right away.

LSL fluid reservoir kits are precision machined from billet aluminum for a custom look that will not go unnoticed. Each brake fluid bottle has a 35mL capacity while clutch kits have a 20mL capacity.

    lsl_brake_fluid_reservoir_kit_black.jpg

Even the fluid reservoir caps are machined from aluminum. These caps are fluted on the inside edge to allow the included expanding gasket to operate as it would on the OEM fluid reservoir.

    lsl_brake_fluid_reservoir_kit-2.jpg

The outlet spigot resides in a slot that’s machined into the very bottom of the fluid reservoir. This prevents the flow of fluid from the reservoir to the master cylinder from being interrupted by air bubbles.

    lsl_brake_fluid_reservoir_kit-3.jpg

Every LSL fluid reservoir comes with a mounting bracket that’s suitable for most late-model applications. Some bikes may require an additional bracket to use the OEM mounting location.

    lsl_brake_fluid_reservoir_kit_silver.jpg

The mounting bracket can be adjusted to allow the outlet spigot to point in the direction required for proper fluid flow to the master cylinder.

    lsl_brake_fluid_reservoir_kit-5.jpg

LSL fluid reservoir kits come in your choice of either silver or black. A fluid level glass site makes it easy to determine that the proper amount of brake fluid is available.

  12. Spidi XP3-S boots bridge the gap between their high-end Spidi XP7 race boots and the X-One street boots. XP3-S boots are ideal for the rider who wants an excellent balance of road racing protection in a more flexible all-around type of boot. To do this, its outer shell is fabricated from a combination of leather, polyurethane and Lorica to provide impact absorption and abrasion resistance. These materials were chosen not only for their protective properties, but also to impart qualities that will make the boots easily last for years of road and track riding. Abrasion resistance is looked after by a Lorica and cowhide outer shell that is sewn together using multiple rows of stitching in all critical seams. This is assisted by lashings of hard plastic protectors that cover the heel, outer ankle and the shin. Up front, a large stainless steel toe slider (which can be replaced when worn down) guards the toes from pavement impingement and adds a degree of crush protection too. A flexible swatch of plastic is married to the area above the toes to keep even the gnarliest of toe pegs from wearing through the leather.

What we really like about these boots, aside from the aforementioned protective properties, is the level of comfort they provide. A three-dimensional mesh liner is used throughout the boots’ interiors. On one side of this will be the foot while in certain high-impact areas, a shock absorbing polyurethane material is appropriately positioned on the other side. This is further aided by the hard plastic exterior armor to provide reliable impact protection. Still, the boot is not rigid to the point that it’s difficult to walk around the paddock or the streets and the vulcanized rubber sole delivers no-slip traction rain or shine. Getting into the boot is simple too, with a zipper that runs along a protective gusset on the inner-facing side, the boot opens wide to allow your foot easy access. To help keep water out, most vents are located on the back of the boot.

These Spidi XP3-S boots are also CE Level 2 certified for cutting and impact protection. They’re available in three different colors schemes as well, the white/black you see here, solid black and red/black.

Because these boots are designed with real-world performance in mind, the perforated microfiber is located mostly on the rear half of the boot’s upper. This helps to prevent water intrusion while at the same time promoting cooling efficiency.

Ventilation performance is further aided by five sets of screened vents that are molded into the polyurethane protectors on the upper and back sides of each boot.

The side of the boot that faces the motorcycle is almost entirely covered with a 2.2mm layer of suede. This not only eases movement against the bike, but it also acts as insulation against engine and exhaust heat.

Each footbed is made with multi-density materials to ensure a comfortable place for your feet. The Air Tech arch support design and three-dimensional inner mesh liner keep moisture and sweat in check while you ride.

In the interest of preserving the upper toe box’s integrity, especially on the shifter side, a durable, yet flexible plastic cover keeps the leather intact. Another feature that isn’t standard on many riding boots (but should be for those that corner low), stainless steel toe sliders come with the XP3-S, straight out of the box.

  13. As is customary, Valentino Rossi gets another one-off limited edition helmet for worldwide distribution halfway through the year. This time, it’s in the form of the Rossi Ducati winter test AGV replica helmet. While there is nothing particularly striking about this Rossi replica helmet design, it does seem to convey a sense of concentration – the kind it takes to understand a completely new motorcycle. And while Valentino and company are still hard at work trying to get around the dynamics of the 800cc Ducati, there’s no question that the AGV GP-Tech helmet is one of the finest you can buy. Plus, if you want to be easily spotted out on the track or on the road, you can’t go wrong with the yellow/black paint scheme you see here!

Made in Italy, all AGV GP-Tech helmets feature excellent ventilation characteristics thanks to the Integrated Ventilation System (IVS) that’s made up of channels molded into the EPS liner which perfectly compliment the intakes and exhausts you see on the outer shell. This system delivers plenty of air to the rider’s scalp in an efficient manner that removes sweat and moisture as it passes through on its way out the back. To cover the GP-Tech’s entire size range, three different shell sizes are employed for maximum safety and comfort. Each shell is comprised of AGV’s Super Super Light carbon-Kevlar construction to yield a helmet that is not only light, but strong and safe enough to pass ECE and DOT certifications.

Only 2,500 individually-numbered helmets are available!

These AGV helmets are not yet available on our website. Talk to Mike for expert sizing over the phone by calling him at 866.931.6644 x 804 or, send an email to FORUM at RIDERSDISCOUNT dot COM with AGV ROSSI WINTER TEST HELMET in the subject line and we’ll get back to you right away.

  14. Spiegler brake line kits are famous for their top-quality build and perfect custom fit. That’s because each Spiegler brake line is made to order for your specific application utilizing any of their 81 color combinations of lines and fittings. Now, Spiegler has introduced the Rennsport brake line kit. Just like other Spiegler lines, Rennsport lines are made with the same tightly-woven stainless steel tubing with DuPont PTFE-Teflon liners that resist expansion and increase your bike’s stopping power over OEM rubber brake hoses. And, they’re backed by a lifetime manufacturer’s warranty.

What makes Rennsport brake kits different than standard Spiegler brake lines is that only a single line is attached to the master cylinder. This line routes to a T-fitting where it splits off into two hoses that go to each brake caliper. This arrangement is especially advantageous for riders that like to run the brake lever at a steep angle and a dual banjo bolt off the master cylinder can interfere with this setup. Furthermore, Spiegler Rennsport brake line kits are designed to route in front of the fork tubes making them less likely to interfere with other controls and wiring present on the motorcycle. Plus, custom lengths are available for racers that use fork cap extensions.

If you’re looking for a clean set-up around the handlebars, look no further than this brake line kit from Spiegler!

For more information, call Mike at 866.931.6644 x 804 or send an email to FORUM at RIDERSDISCOUNT dot COM with SPIEGLER RENNSPORT BRAKE LINES in the subject line. Rennsport brake lines are available for most popular late-model sportbikes. Please be sure to include the model and year of the motorcycle you’re riding, whether or not you have fork tube extenders and the colors of the lines and fittings that you’d like.

Spiegler Rennsport Brake Line kits come with everything you need to install brake lines for every modern application: brake hose, banjo bolts, crush washers, banjo adjustment tool and, where applicable – a hose stay bracket.

    spiegler_rennsport_brake_lines-1.jpg

To make installation as straight forward as possible, each kit comes with banjo bolts properly labeled so you can easily install each fitting in the correct location. Using the included tool, Spiegler’s patented banjo bolts can be turned within the fitting so there is no twisting or binding within the brake line.

    spiegler_rennsport_brake_lines-3.jpg

On some applications, this three-way fitting can be mounted to the lower triple clamp using the included bracket fitting. This helps to reduce clutter on the front end of your motorcycle and ensure that the lines are properly routed in front of each fork tube.

    spiegler_rennsport_brake_lines-2.jpg

As you can see, the included bracket keeps the brake line hoses away from the steering damper and other items for a clean, purposeful installation.
