Modeled after the top-of-the-line AGV GP-Tech helmet but at a value price, the AGV K3 offers excellent ventilation and many of the same features as the high-end model. Three user-adjustable intakes are fitted on the front of the helmet, which perfectly compliment four exhaust vents on the back. Inside, the Dry-Lex comfort liner relies on heavy metals woven into its fabric to prevent bacterial growth and delay the onset of the foul odors that come with it. The back of the helmet is adorned with a few colorful letters along with renderings of Rossi’s dogs. For the rider that wants to show it all off, it is possible to remove the name plates, sizing, and compliance stickers at the back of the helmet. Higher up, you can see the mesh screen for the exhaust ports located under the rear spoiler. These, combined with the vents at the lower sides of the helmet (barely visible) help draw the stale air in the helmet out to the atmosphere so you can keep a cool head.

Common to all Puig windscreens built for streetbikes are a 3mm thermo-formed acrylic plastic which resists scratches and won’t become brittle over time. We like LSL frame sliders for their modular nature and simple installation. The recently redesigned crash pads do a better job of absorbing and dissipating crash energy than the previous model while giving it a look that separates them from other frame sliders on the market. The rounded edges of the plastic slider inserts reduce the chances of the slider hooking as it rolls over the ground, theoretically reducing the amount of damage your bike may experience. A light crash may only require the replacement of the plastic inserts. For more serious damage, crash pads are available separately from the mounting bases, negating the need to buy a completely new setup. The crash pads come in a myriad of colors, from solid black to chrome to carbon-look.

LSL’s frame slider kits are comprised of CNC-machined brackets and high-quality hardware. Simple to follow instructions are also included with every kit.

First released as a limited production model in other markets now, AGV has made this Elements Rossi Replica helmet available as a standard model in the USA with ECE 2205 and DOT approval. Valentino had been riding with the same AGV GP-Tech Five Continents helmet unchanged for three seasons. So, in 2011 along with his move over to Ducati, it was high time for a new lid and Rossi Industries was happy to oblige by bringing us to the AGV GP-Tech Elements helmet. “For the rider, a helmet is also a canvas to be painted” said the Italian, and he once again trusted Aldo Drudi to come up with a new design. While there’s always going to be a few one-off helmets for certain races, you’ll probably be seeing much more of the Rossi Elements replica helmet on the MotoGP grid for a while.

As with all GP-Tech helmets, it’s fabricated in Italy, has a fully removable liner and comes with adjustable ventilation in the chin and forehead areas. At the factory, this particular design requires special attention by a small group of workers who painstakingly apply the decals on this unique helmet. From a safety standpoint, the Elements stands out in bright light and will make you more visible to others on the road.

Good to hear but this is one of the reasons that I didn't buy A* gloves. I know multiple people that have had stitching let go after only a few uses.

We do not ever like to hear of it but it can happen from time to time. This goes for the rest of the brands out there as well, Alpinestars does make a quality product and offers superb service after the sale.

More designed for some of the smaller 600's but a smoking deal if you are in need of one that takes a 110 or less.

From MotoGP to AMA Superbike, GP Pro Gloves are the preferred glove of Alpinestars-sponsored athletes thanks to their full grain leather chassis with reinforcements in the areas that are most likely to come into contact with the ground. The entire glove is assembled with Kevlar stitching which was chosen for its ability to resist tearing in a high-friction environment. Each glove also uses a liner constructed from the same material on the interior’s upper surface. On the outside, injection molded polyurethane is used to aid the leather in abrasion resistance on the knuckles, palm and it is used to almost completely surround the wrist. This same PU material does double duty on the knuckles to deliver fresh air directly to the top of the hand. In addition to the hard armor, soft rubber inserts are used on the exterior and foam padding is embedded between the inner and outer leather surface in strategic locations to attenuate impact energy.
