Getting the bandit out of storage today and doing the spring time maintenance on it.

Looking at a Saturday mid april. 11th or 18th. I can supply some dogs and buns and pop and beer. Ya'll are welcome to bring anything you can. Maintenance action will be pretty basic: oil changes, coolant changes, brake and clutch flush and bleed, maybe some fork oil changes. There will be a tip jar. Looking forward to making this happen and meeting some of you.

Oh this reminds me of a good story. I used to live across from a high rise full of old people waiting to die. A lot of them would come across the street and feed the birds and squirrels because the condo association forbade them do it on their peoperty. One particular week my ranger started acting up. Would idle high and surge and all kinds of weird shit. it wasn't until I had gotten on the freeway and was doing 80 when this became a problem. I needed to slow down, so I took my foot off the gas. Truck kept going. Bad sign. Pushed in the clutch and the revs went up. I killed the motor and used gearing and my last bit of power brakes to pull over and stop in the breakdown lane. I pop the hood and lift the cover off the throttle and what do I find? A fucking wallnut. God damn squirrels. Found 2 more later that year while doing plugs and wires.

Ok now we have enough people on board to make bad decisions as a Comittee. Day of week? I'm thinking a saturday. time of day? Early afternoonish. What say yee?

Just throwing it out there, seeing if anyone wants to help set this up. if there aren't too many people my house could be the place, I have a pretty good sized patio and garage. Maybe do some maintenance, grill some dogs, drink some beers? What do you think?

I tried an atomic but it just didn't fit me right. Bought a sonic 2 years later and I love it. Good call on ditching the other jacket. Leather helps but armor protects so much better

I hope that happened when I start mine up....I'm gonna start putting crackers in my pipes over the winter.

Bandit is still in dad's barn. Gsxkat1100 came over today and we swapped a set of drag bars onto the honda and pulled off the stock gauges.

Well I'm officially enrolled now. the course is split into 3 sections I am taking individually, green, lean and black. If I decide one level is enough I can just pull out of the next section.

I'm a lazy douche bag and I already know everything.
