How many of the people who talk shit about it have actually watched enough of the show to get into it? I started watching back in my pirate days when I was actually a patched member in an mc. I still watch now even tho I've progressed to an atgatt liter-class sport bike rider because its a really good show. Tonight's episode was fucking nuts btw, I had to avoid this thread until I got home from work at 12:30 and watched it on DVR. Gonna be a crazy season and we have our new villain in pope.

Yeah recon, I always saw that as a glaring inaccuracy in the disaster movies. If it were night time you would see either a dot getting bigger in a hurry or a very fast bright streak depending on your POV in relation to the origin and trajectory of the object. Daytime you'd have even less warning depending on the percieved proximity of the object to the sun. Either way you'd be fucked....propper fucked. I've seen some projections that show the earth actually bulging out at the point diametrically opposed to the point of impact depending on the size of the object..... Damn, that's the most big words I've used in a single post I think....

Oh I wasn't suggesting he do freeway balance point whoolies. The bike is capable of it tho. It's definitely way too heavy to stunt tho, and suffers badly from oil foaming and starvation if you try anything higher than 45* or a few blocks. I would like to join this ride but it starts too early, is too long and too far away for my tender buttcheeks.

I have an eotech on my rifle, granted I've never served in the armed forces but I am a shooter and the eotech works great. Trijicon acog is an awesome sight with an equally awesome price tag. Never used an aimpoint but have heard great things about them. I chose the eotech based on size, ruggedness, utility even with light damage or mud/blood/zombie brains partially obscuring the lens, battery life and cost. His mileage may vary.

Did he buy an s or an r? If he can't do wheelies on either there is something wrong with the bike or he's just not trying.

I ride mine to work all week and then she sits in the garage all weekend while I spend time with the girlfriend I live with but never see due to work schedules.

First ingredient. It's not too overly spicy, so far I've used on steak, eggs, fish, burgers and sausage patties ...went well on all.

750 has the genesis 5 valve head and I believe the cyl bank is canted a different angle forward. Pretty sure only the 600 will bolt in. With pipes, jets, k&n filter and a timing advance key the fzr600 puts out close to 100 hp if properly tuned. Not bad for 80's technology.

The 400, probably not. Stock suspenders were pretty low tech, only adjustment was preload on the back spring. With a cbr rear shock fitted and some racrtech gold emulators I hear it tightens up a lot...as far as power, the 400 put out around 70 stock. The nice thing is the 400 had an aluminum frame as opposed to steel on the 600 and above. You can bolt a 600 motor right into a 400 frame IIRC. That brings you up to 90-something horse depending on mods. The fzr was a great platform, I really liked mine.

Tl is a lot of bike for a beginner. Hope he takes it easy.

Torque was a steaming Turd. It also bothers me when they edit in inaccurate gunshot noises....like one guy has a glock 9 and the other has a Beretta 9 but one makes a little pop and the other has this bad ass big bang with some metallic sound as well....ugh. Hollywood sucks.

I can't say I've been through something like that and you have my condolences and sympathy in your situation. I know it ain't much but its all I got. Try to keep positive, they have made a lot of advances in medical science and people with traumatic spine injuries have been known to recover and live a full or slightly limited life. Your brother has a long hard road ahead of him and will need all the support he can get. That's where you come in. Don't lose hope, don't dispare and above all do what you can to help his family so that he can focus on his recovery. Good luck and I honestly hope things work out and your big bro can get back on his feet.
