  1. Throttle sticking is def not carbs, Honda put a monster spring in the throttle rack. I would check the adjustment on your ” push” cable first, if it even has one. Your best bet is to just replace both cables...or it could be the upside down handle bars causing the cables to bind. Either way enjoy, those old 750 f's were good bikes. Message me with any tech issues you may have, I know those bikes inside and out.
  2. Geese are fucking mean. I would have executed a cross-throat stab with my kershaw, concluding the engagement, then pluck, gut, season with olive oil, salt, pepper and Rosemary and bake at 350 for 20 minutes per pound. Serve with mashed taters, corn and asparagus paired with a nice German table wine, either a Rhine or a reisling. Mmmmm, delicious.
  3. Ah yes, a look back to when I was a newb and didn't really ” get it”. I was used to heavily moderated forum boards where you get banned for using the ”Fuck” word.
  4. This bike is still for sale, stats right up and rides nice. and $1500 and worth every penny. Reasonable offers entrained, no trades, clean title.
  5. I'm pretty well balanced between the two sides. Heading into work I take the airdock access road off of 224e, and its a big right-sweeping loop. When leaving I take the other side of the same loop (going left handed now) back onto 224. The only difference is getting off is down hill and getting on is up, but I can still hold a steady line in either direction at the same speed (~60 mph depending on conditions). Maybe its because I do it every day in the summer, sometimes twice if I leave for lunch, and I have been pushing my limitations on this particular loop for a year now.
  6. Wish I could go but I'll be slaving away in a hot repair shop, making sure the airplanes stop when they land.
  7. everyone rides to the left of center in England.
  8. New rider + midlife crisis - protective gear = dead guy.
  9. Try keeping your wallet on the other side....lol, I think its a combo of all those factors and the fact that on a left hand turn you are in more danger from on coming traffic the further inside you get on your turn. Could also be you're not putting enough weight into your counter-steer because you are maintaining a tight grip on the throttle. Go the wrong way on some freeway ramps for practice.
  10. I just bought one for $330 a few Weeks ago. I like mine, quiet, starts right up.
  11. So much fail...exarch, why are you here? Nobody likes you, go away. I want you to pay close attention to what I'm about to drop on you...its I'd, not ide. You simple little monkey.
  12. Good God this was a long fucking thread, and I definitely didn't read every post, but I read enough to say: A: exarch, shut the Fuck up. Not just here, but in all forums. You have posted about a years worth of senseless bullshit in a months time, so goo ahead and take eleven off. B: as a chl holder I've been pulled over several times in the past three years, sometimes while carrying, sometimes without. During one traffic stop in Akron, I could tell by the amount of time the cop spent in his car before approaching me that he hadn't ran my license plate and had no clue I was carrying. I informed him add soon as I could that I had a license to carry and had a .38 on my right hip. He thanked me for the info, told me to leave the gun where it was and give him my id. He clocked me at 72 in a 35, wrote me a ticket for 50, thanked me for notifying him that I was carrying and apologized that he couldn't let me go Scott free. Of the 5 other times I've been pulled over since I got my chl, I have notified the officer regardless of whether or not I had my side arm on me and have been let go inn the most polite manner with a warning. Keep in mind I'm a heavily tattooed, 215 lb male with a shaved head and goatee, not exactly what a cop would categorize as harmless or law abiding. I just treat the chips with courtesy and respect and so far they treat me in turn.
  13. Just when I thought you couldn't become any more useless.
  14. Had an awesome time riding with you guys, just wish my bike was more comfy, my ass is still killing me. Brian, I hope you will accept my passing you on the freeway at 100 mph as a goodbye and farewell, I just really wanted to get home and rest my legs. Was great meeting all of you and Damn do I love 646! Just wish it wasn't an hour from my place....and who could forget those little green shorts at the park....chalkimg the day up to a solid win.
  15. Looking forward to this, I'll be the ugly bald guy on the beautiful blue Yamaha.
  16. I'm all about the canton qsl meet up but we are really screwing the Malaysian invasion aka Jamal by jumping off at one. Let's meet there and jump off at two-ish. , that will give him time to get off work, go home, get his bike and meet us. Jamal is a stand up guy (came out and helped me wire myHID conversion, plus have been on a few rides with him and is a good safe rider) and really wants to make this ride so let's accommodate him as best we can. I'm really looking forward to this meet and greet, always interesting to match faces to online personalities.
  17. Use a round that its actually manufactured for defense, it will help in the inevitable court date that follows actually using it in defense. Never carry with hand loads and never carry a pistol that had been modified from stock.
  18. Awe, don't get all butt hurt holly, shouldn't you be studying or something?
  19. 38 spc is actually a holdover cartridge from the black powder days, low pressures, low-ish velocity. Lead wad cutters are fine as long as they aren't loaded plus p.
