  1. The amount of accessories available for those bikes is just staggering, you literally can make it do almost anything you want. There are very few bikes out there that can tour.......carve the corners....take the roads less traveled.....and even do a track day. I am on my second V-Strom, missed my first one so bad I just had to buy another. Take a look at http://www.stromtrooper.com/ ,lots of good info to be found there.
  2. Own one as my only bike......hell no.
  3. Oh no.....surely no other reasons for doing such a thing.
  4. V-Strom 650 or V-Strom 1000.......give them a look and even better a ride.
  5. AR's are fun guns for many reasons, sounds like you are on the way to a nice build. I am rather proud of the one I built, but of course I have a few more items I would like to add and or change.

    no phone wi-fi

    You must own a hemordroid?
  7. Snoring means you likely need a sleep study because you have sleep apnea, I know that I have it and am about to get a CPAP soon.
  8. I have a few nice knives, 2 of which I am wanting custom sheaths for.
  9. I will likely be hung over.
  10. WOW......the more I carry and use this knife the more I like it. I get many compliments about it as well, good looking knife, carrys well, and pretty damn high quality IMHO.

    V-Strom Seat

Good price, love my Corbin on my Strom.
  14. Absolutley......and I love Roush Hardware!!!! I will shoot you my cell number in a PM, my kid is all grown up and in the Army so I have lots of free time.
  15. I wear a 10.5 in shoes and an 11 in most boots, I belive the 44 is supposed to be for a size 11 in US shoes? I do have a narrow foot, so if the length of these are good I am sure the width would be perfect. From what I have described, do you think these might fit me?
  16. Hmmmmmm.....I may be interested, wish we could meet up so I could try them on first. I am in Westerville, we are not that far away from eachother.
  17. I had a 4 and went with a 5S a few months back, it is much better all around than what I had. My Nephew manages several Verizon retailers, he pushed the 5S for me instead of the 6. Heck I think I darn near got it for free, he said support for the 5S will not be a problem. My Wifey however just got a 6 over the weekend, she really likes it and has no regrets. Yeah I don't get the iphone bashers, I have had several droids and just never liked them. The iphone just works, has a great camera, support is good, they are easy to use, and work flawlessly with bluetooth systems unlike connectivity issues I had with Droids.
  18. Sizes listed might help ya, but most are not interested in used helmets.
  19. Chain is on the wrong side. Sweet machine by the way......sweet.
  20. Not all textile gear is the same, many times you get what you pay for. Leather is fine if that is what you like, and yes it is hard to dispute it's protective qualities. I personally try to avoid wrecking at all cost, so I will take the comfort and flexibility of the textile apparel over leather anyday. I highly recommend the Firstgear HT overpants, they are legendary in quality and a top choice of riders who rack up allot of miles. I also recommend the Tourmaster Transition III 3/4 length jacket as well, and a II version is fantastic if you can still find one. Do not overlook gloves, make sure they fit well and offer good protection. I am a big fan of Lee Parks deerskin gloves, they are American made and work as advertised. I just bought some Firstgear Axiom II gloves, they are bad ass and have the new smart armor on them.......and waterproof with amazing dexterity. Lastly proper boots are paramount IMHO, I ride in all conditions and find that anything less then actual riding boots to be very inferior in many ways. Good luck on your quest, and head to the Iron Pony if I were you.
  21. He is likely running out of room in the barn due to the recent projects.
  22. Bad ass machine.....congrats, and hope you get to ride sooner than later.
  23. I also have a pretty nice SV that I am debating letting go rather cheaply.
