  1. Nice......and depends on what you want out of a bike, and the kind of riding you like to do.
  2. Chef Robert Irvine will be visiting you for a future Restaurant Impossible episode.
  3. Heard ya met my buddy Kevin recently?
  4. Can speed up in short bursts, and yes I have been there.....still paying for it with my shoulder having surgery back in October. There are a shitload of ATV's so I am just warning you, the trails have allot of blind curves and hills, and the traffic is both directions. Great place to ride, just be looking plenty up ahead and you should be fine.
  5. Agree.....but I still put no faith or trust in BHO.
  6. Looks like great craftsmanship, but just too purdy for my tastes.

    fearful?

Track days are great and all, but you don't leave the track. I like to travel all over the country and explore to my hearts content, to me that is what riding is all about, it is an adventure........and it is so worth the potential dangers and hassles I may encounter along the way.

    fearful?

No real close calls for me so far, I ride within my skill level and don't allow anybody to veer me away from that. Sure I can have fun and push it "do that plenty", but for the most part I ride very much within my comfort zone. Of course too many of us get taken out by distracted cage drivers, but riding like you are invisible is always your best plan of action. Sure I have given it a bit of thought were I to go down and get hurt "or worse", but I love it too much and plan on riding until I no longer am able. And way too much bike for allot of folks out there whether they will openly admit it or not, I find myself in the less is more category the older I get and the longer I ride.
  9. My sis has a 2011 HSE LR4, has been flawless and gets better than 16 mpg. I too have heard nightmares about many issues over the years, but seems they really have things sorted out now. I would probably walk away from the 2008, might be too much of a what if and could be situation.
  10. Gonna be a muddy mess and may be allot of trees down, and probably very crowded with ATV's as well.
  11. Thanks for all the the good info and facts, I was 95% sure I was abiding by all the rules but just wanted to hear it again. I OC around home or maybe at a few of my close buddy's house, otherwise I am always CC. I have no issues with anyone that OC's anywhere and everywhere they are able by law, but I personally like the element of discretion and surprise that goes along with CC.
  12. Better than the C14...........yeah sure it is. Enjoy that trip, sounds like a good time.
  13. Packing a deadly weapon that could shoot off in your britches huh? So since Ohio is already an open carry state, and since we have no firearm printing laws, and if you have a CHL, you can pretty much expose as little or as much of your firearm as you like? So if my shirt/jacket lifts up and exposes my previously concealed weapon, or if part of the holster peaks out from under my shirt or jacket, I am still 100% legal? I had always assumed that I was still legal, but know there are states where that is not the case. Ohio does not have a brandishing law as you mentioned, but public menacing is one they could "potentially" throw a bullshit charge at you with.
  14. Are you 100% sure about that in Ohio? What about imprinting, what about partially exposed partially concealed? With a CHL I believe it needs to be one or the other in Ohio, and yeah I believe that OC just attracts the wrong kind of attention.
