  1. You couldn't pay me to watch that.....truly disturbing.
  2. Very interesting.......I am intrigued.
  3. At the moment I have a most excellent Tourmaster Transition II jacket "tested thoroughly in hours of riding in the rain", Field Sheer booster pants "butt and crotch will eventually get wet due to run off from the tank and your jacket", Olympia Monsoon gloves, and currently have Firstgear Kili Hi waterproof boots. I prefer to have wet hands with feel than dry hands with no feel, hence why I always have multiple pairs of gloves with me.
  4. Yup.....all vents have sealed zippers in either pants or jackets, also is pretty quick to pull over and make any adjustments needed. You are gonna be much hotter wearing rain gear over anything else, and believe me I have ridden in allot of rain. Can't say enough about good gloves and also having spare sets with ya, heated grips also feel pretty darn good in colder rain as well.
  5. You are totally missing the point, when you purposely do something to catch the attention or possibly engage an officer, that is stupid and very unwise. The problem now is that every Tom, Dick and Harry are wanting 15 minutes of fame for something, and many times it is pushing the limits with a law enforcement officer. Those officers were sitting minding their own business, and some little punk ass pulls a stunt like that. Law enforcement are not the same as civilians, and you don't have the right or law on your side to poke them with a stick. The amount of negativity that I read on this forum toward law enforcement is very disturbing. And the real problem at hand is the lack of respect for and toward others, and you wonder why this county is heading toward peril.......actually we are already there.
  6. I think the police were every bit in their right to arrest him, especially since it was being taped. That did nothing but engage an officer over something stupid, he is really lucky he made no actual contact with the officer.
  7. I won't buy 4 season gear unless it is waterproof, same goes for motorcycle boots. Having to wear or put on actual rain gear over your initial gear is both hot and a pain in the ass.

    Please Help!!

Allowing a dealer to work on your bike can stress you out as well.
  9. Have a bad ass sport touring machine in the garage and a 250 dual sport, one of those bikes always makes me smile and giggle when I ride it. The WR is just a hoot to ride, pretty capable on both the slab and in the woods with the right riders on board. The C14 is an animal and just destroys the pavement, bring on the twistys and the superslab and it just does both with ease. But I will not buy another big and heavy bike like this again, less is more IMHO and something in the 650 to 800 range would be just ideal for me. My 1000 Vstrom was such a fun machine and wish I could've kept it, but the 650 Vstrom is the all around better and more capable bike "hands down".
  10. Grant may want that rifle Craig.
  11. WTF, thought we were friends????? How dare you not let me know before practically giving these away on the site!!!!!

  13. No way that I could own just a cruiser, maybe to compliment the other machines in the garage.
  14. Yes.....life is good in the sport touring world.
  15. Industrial Fabricators here in Westerville, one of my best friends is the owner. Shoot me a PM if you have any interest, pretty sure he is looking to hire now or soon. http://www.ifab.com/
  16. Loved the Sargent on mine, loved that seat!!!
  17. This is most excellent!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Bands like Sabbath, Iron Maiden and Priest are what Heavy Metal truly is, they are the pioneers IMHO.
  18. I have learned so much from this thread, and have ever been so entertained. However.....these boys are not amused.
  19. BTD had the ultimate Strom........Trust me on that. I love both bikes in my garage, but for sure wish I still also had my ole Strom.
  20. Been up there twice and yes it is amazingly beautiful and there are some fantastic roads, however I have doubts I shall ever visit that Communist/Marxist state again.
