  1. The best helmet is the one that fits properly and is comfy, the price really should not matter.
  2. Sure this doesn't rattle or bother Mags one single bit, why should it.......doesn't affect his life any and he didnt personally know them.
  3. You know you want that bike Ryan!!!!
  4. If you want a step up to a better 2 up bike with more power and comfort, then you will be hard pressed to find much better than the FZ6. You might also consider a Suzuki Bandit 1250, a very inexpensive excellent standard/touring machine with lots of manageable torque and hp "and it hits hard". I would not consider a VFR in your case, doesn't seem like a good choice for you IMHO.
  5. Those like Magz who care little to nothing or show no empathy even for those whom they have never met or have never known, are one of the things wrong with this country. I reckon he has no sad feelings, respect, or heartache during Veterans Day, what about all the fireman and police "and countless others" that died trying to save "people they did not know" in the towers on 9-11. What about all the innocent victims in the Connecticut massacre, did/does that even bother you? He takes all the liberties and freedoms that he enjoys for granted each and every day, this country exists because of the countless others that have laid down their lives for the rest of us they never even knew. I read obituaries in the paper and I see those whom have had a long life and those that have had their lives cut way too short, and it makes me think about how long I have on this Earth and am I doing my part to try and make things better for other people? Just what exactly do you stand for or believe in Duane, or are you just fine with whatever? Be glad that countless others believe in something, will die for countless others so that they may live, who try to make a positive difference in this world. Dude you have made and are still making so many enemies on this forum, and I have no doubt that some would even go so far as to knocking your teeth out should they meet you. I know your elbows are registered lethal weapons in your mind, but there is always somebody tougher smarter and wiser than you. You are truly a miserable person, you just haven't fully realized it yet........but many of us here get it.
  6. The engine is a bit temperamental, and I thought you wanted more of a sport tour oriented machine?
  7. So what is the bike in question that is worth all the trouble?
  8. Walk away IMHO, and I am a bit confused as to how the dealer can still have the title? Also not sure any of that was legal.
  9. He IS NOT a Libertarian "not even remotely close", nor is he a Liberal. I believe him to primarily be an Antagonist, and unfortunately there are many out there like him.
  10. Wow that is a long stretch between now and the last time you posted on the build thread. So why are you selling it, how does it run, why still have the mag front and spoke rear?
  11. No he doesn't fit into any defined category, he wanders endlessly through life with eyes wide shut.
  12. Understand ya 100%, although can't say I have any friends or family on the other side of issue. If people would only try to look at things logically instead of knee jerk reactions and actions, consider the real issues at hand instead of personal vendettas.
  13. Thanks Dad. She is an old dog, and it is an obvious and total joke. I am just utilizing my freedom of speech, no threats of any kind have been made.
  14. They are pretty damn close to the perfect machine for a large majority of riders. And to the OP, I would also highly recommend one of those as well......and they move on down the road and handle more than adequately.
  15. Oh and by the way.....20k on the SV is just starting to get broken in. Chains and sprockets are cheap "less than tires", and part of owning a motorcycle. Checking/adjusting the valves on that engine is a piece of cake.....trust me.
  16. Plenty of turds come from Ford and GM as well, Chrysler still gets the bad rep at times from the much earlier years. When I worked for GE I went through 4 Chrysler town & country vans over 10 years, never had any issues other than replacing a few bushings in the front ends.......and I ran the piss out of those vans. The Ford and GM vans were unreliable total pieces of shit, hence why GE stopped using them for fleet vehicles. My Dad owned several Chrysler products over the years with little to no issues at all.
  17. Will lead to registration and ultimately confiscation if they see fit.
  18. The fact that you even said that is disturbing.
  19. No bans, few restrictions if any......but full background checks and registration will pass and that is going to be the beginning of the end.
