I actually like the way this forum is moderated, not to intrusive, but there when needed. But look at forums like yellowbullet. Completely unmoderated and the largest drag racing forum out there now. I am not suggesting that this forum should be unmoderated, just using yellowbullet as an example.
When Nivin and I left from NEO last year to head to the ride it was in the low 40s and raining. The rain stopped by the time we got down south and it ended up being a beautiful day.
That was probably the fastest street ride iv been on. Not sure I want to push it more on the street considering the road conditions. I am also afraid of crashing at the track day and ruining the gap trip.
lol didnt know if it was the bank or the other parking lot with the garage. I like option 2. But maybe leave option 3 open incase the weather doesnt 100% cooperate.
Let me know where you want to meet Doc. I have my cam chain tensioner on order and hope to have it here and changed by late friday night. If I dont get it fixed by then I will see if I can ride the 636.
Honestly, no matter what the pace is I am going to ride towards the back and take it easy. There is simply going to be to much crap on the roads and everyone is going to be a little rusty.
I am doing oil, clutch/brake fluid, brake pads, and coolant this weekend. Hopefully doing fork oil and seals next week. After that I am good to go. Well, I guess my front cam chain tensioner is going bad as well. Hoping the oil change fixes it.
Nivin, you and I had a rough go of it for sure last year. I think it was in the 40s and raining last fall on our way down. If you would like I could ride sweep if you lead a group. Will work great with the scala.
