  1. Home, showered, and on the way to the Crew game. That, my friends, was a heck of a way to start the season. Not to chilly in the morning or the evening, and perfect mid day. No incidents, good little route, and good peeps....and it's early March. It's rare in Ohio to get an 8 month riding season, but we're off to a good start. Jonathan, good riding with you buddy. I'm guessing you'll find this thread; so welcome to OR and great riding today. Tim and Jacob, hop to see you guys out again soon.
  2. So let's go with noon at 83/93 intersection in Otsego. If anyone would like to make an adjustment to that, let me know. But I want to set an official time, and adjust from there. As of right now it looks like just Jacob and myself, and Tim tentatively. Everyone is welcome. And if it's 12:15 Jacob, no worries...I can wait.
  3. Well shoot. If there's any adjustment we can make to the meet time Jim, let us know. Would be great to see you out. Sounds good Jacob. Keep an eye on his thread for any time changes. I'll post an official meet time sometime this evening, as we adjust to any NEO riders.
  4. It's literally the small little town of Otsego. The intersection of 83 and 93. It's the same spot where I met you and Tpoppa and Brian last year on the ride where I went down.
  5. So, you're saying....meet at 1?
  6. Why don't you meet us tomorrow? You seem to have the road conditions locked down....
  7. I'm in Mount Vernon Tim. Weather continues to look good. Looks like you're North of Columbus too. We can meet at 83.93 in Otsego at noon. From there we can decide how far we really want to go. Let me know either way. I plan on the pace being very mild. And the distance being fairly tame as well.
  8. So, weather for tomorrow says 68 degrees with a 20% chance of rain. I'm going to keep an eye on it to see if it changes, but if that's how it pans out, it should be a decent day to get a ride in. Im thinking meet at noon and back by 5. Route can be flexible depending on who all joins. I'm thinking Hocking area or McConnelsville. Post up if you're interested and we'll make meet up spot plans.
  9. I slabbed it down 2 years ago on my GSXr. I had a backpack with all my gear that I stowed in another vehicle that met me there. The ride down wasn't bad...but there was a wreck in the mountains, at night, and traffic was backed up for miles. That SUCKED. Having to keep the bike cool, stopping every 30 feet, and being surrounded by hot exhausts made me sweat. Then, when traffic got moving again two hours later, I about froze to death. If I had it to do again, I would take back roads, and make it a two day ride. I don't think I'll ever slab that ride again.
  10. I'm in, for sure. If anyone has cabin or trailer room, let me know. Seems like I'm always scrambling at the last minute to figure that out.

    Trailer?

I don't know yet. It's one of three I have picked out to look at.

    Trailer?

Hey guy, anyone in the Columbus/ Licking county/ Knox county area have a trailer I can borrow? I'm trying to work out the logistics for buying a bike, and as of right now, I'll be loading it in the passenger seat of my SUV. Hahahaha...thanks to anyone willing to lend one out.
  13. I can make you look like a super model UP, lipstick and all. But I'll just assume this image is sufficient. And to add a little detail, you're exactly right about holding the camera wrong....for one wide photo I was. And because like you, I know everything, I tell people that fairly often when I see them take vertical photos. Hahaha! But for this specific image, since it was so wide and I was so close, I wanted to stitch a bunch of vertical photos together side by side....which would show more of the bucket vertically. So this is probably 6 vertical images stitched side by side, with the one you took that included me blended in. To be fair, photoshop does a lot of the work. But I go in and do a lot of the finishing to make it look seamless. And then adjust color/ contrast/ exposure etc etc. It turned out to be a great picture though. Glad we stopped for it! Finally!
  14. Thanks guys. It's high resolution, so you should be able to blow it up pretty big, Jim. Inbox cleaned UP.
  15. Home safe and sound. Thanks for your help today guys. I appreciate it.
  16. You can't see all of these wonderful gentlemen tomorrow, if you ride the bicycle...! Night guys. Hope to see you ALL in the morning.
  17. I went out and gassed up and bought my morning Red Bull, so I'll be riding straight to the meet spot in the AM. I'll be there at 9:30 or just a little after.
  18. Very cool. This should be a great ride. Weather looks perfect too!
  19. Looks like I'm going to make it for at least a portion of the trip....duration depending on what I can put together with work. Looking forward to it. Though with the characters on this trip, I'm not sure if it will be more fun to ride, or just sit around and shoot the shit.
  20. Cool. I mentioned it to Jonathan, who rode with you guys that weekend. Haven't heard anything back yet, but he may be there.
  21. Same guys that you rode with two weeks ago Tony?
  22. I'm definitely in. In there like spandex swimwear.
  23. Yeah. That wasn't a contest of speed. That was a spontaneous nutsack size comparison....and I came in near the back.
