  1. Okay, I'm officially not a nerd....whew!
  2. + rep for the funny! As for me, that's my kind of diving, too.
  3. I'll admit that I had to Google "yut ugh"! LOL
  4. Yeah, power outages and short tempers never go well together. I'm okay up here in the Akron/Canton area but I've been through some extended outages back home from hurricanes including one that lasted over two weeks. One thing that is different, though, is that we know to treat all traffic light outages as four way stops.
  5. Well, gee, that took the suspense right out of it!
  6. Good call and I'm glad you made it home just in the nick of time - F the cagers. I see some dark clouds rolling into my area and the radar is showing it covering all of the state with the nasty cells just south of me. And I sure hope we don't get any hail since all three of my trucks are parked outside including my new F-150.
  7. Your friend is misinformed as you have probably tried to tell him. And I can personally attest by experience (frontal and back contact on the helmet with the asphalt) that a full-face will not do any of those during a high speed crash if worn properly.
  8. I'd offer him $1200 and work from there if he balks. Walk away at $1500.
  9. To say that is was hot today is putting it mildly but it did finally and somewhat dramatically cool off in downtown Cleveland when the clouds and rain started to roll through while on-site with a tower crew up from Cincy. I simply could not drink enough water today, that is for sure!
  10. Maybe try an online service such as http://www.roommates.com to weed out the riff-raff.
  11. Keep your head on a swivel and a lookout for the right kind of MOS that you'll enjoy for the long haul. And stick it out until you can retire (my only regret with respect to the military, not getting my 20+).
  12. Can-o-tuna's can pop whoolies?
  13. Cool. I'll send you a PM to see what works best for you next week as far as stopping by with a $20 and go from there.
  14. I've been looking for something like this for my next TV purchase (probably a 47"). I can stop by next week when I'm up your way for work.
  15. This is really funny but also very true.
  16. I noticed two days ago after refueling a very strong fuel smell as I got back on the bike and knew I hadn't spilled any fuel. I get home and it's still there but didn't see any signs of a fuel leak. Fire the bike up for a ride yesterday evening and nothing noticeable right away but as soon as I'm on the seat and backing it out the garage, the smell was back. I pull back into the garage and shut it down only to see drops of fluid near the kickstand. A quick inspection reveals fuel and upon further inspection, I see it dribbling down onto the exhaust! So, I wait while the bike cools down and ponder the joys of owning my first Duc. After pulling the tank up slightly this morning before the heat kicked in, one of the quick disconnect's is loose (in line) but not leaking with the engine off. I fire it back up and fuel goes spraying everywhere. Then the out line quick disconnect's pops out without any encouragement or using the release tab. Another closer inspection reveals that they've both broken off at the base where they snap into the female connectors. So, after some research it looks like I'm going with some Desmo Times male and female QD's. Similar to the Desmo Times SS qd's vs. the fragile OEM plastic ones (my in line is black): Anyone have a good report on this "upgrade"? I'm hoping I've made a good choice for an upgrade. I take it the females simply unscrew from the tank?
  17. I would have to go with chicks dig Ducati's more - but have yet to see that truth transpire!
