I have had issues with both of my achilles since developing severe crepitus in them both during SFAS (Special Forces Assessment and Selection) back in 1992. The damage I did to my right great toe has also caught up to me in the form of osteoarthritis. My left achilles has been bothering me here lately but I couldn't tell you if it has a tear in it or not - it is just tender.

My CU is over 2000 miles away in Spokane, WA and has always been a pleasure to deal with online, over the phone, and also through the Shared Branching network They don't charge any stupid fees and reimburse my ATM fees if I satisfy just a few requirements which are easily met with my debit card usage. I've also just secured a loan for my truck and handled it all over the phone.

Just be glad they didn't shoot your dogs.

I replaced my Evo with an iPhone 4 but, honestly, it's a toss up as to which is the better phone. The only exception has been with the Hotspot feature which has never worked right on my iPhone but was flawless on the Evo.

I'm curious if anyone here has had experience buying a company vehicle. I've had a 2009 Dodge Ram 2500 HD Hemi ST 4x4 for a company vehicle since May, 2010 and it currently has 107,418 miles on it. It has been replaced with a 2012 Ford F-150 5.0L XLT 4x4 and after inquiring about purchasing my Ram, Fleet responded with a good price. The truck is currently leased through Union Leasing based out of Illinois and I'm approved to finance it through my CC which is located in Spokane, WA. The logistics of dealing with my CC is causing some serious delays and of course, they're not any more familiar with how to handle the title work here in Ohio with the BMV than I am. Anyone done this with an "off-lease" company vehicle?

I'm thinking the new 5.0L would be the better option for a more modern drivetrain, the one in my new F-150 gets up and goes but not quite as peppy as my Ram's Hemi, though.

I was over at Kelley's on Wednesday inspecting a cell tower - actually the only cell tower - on the island. Cool place, nice pace to life, and hopefully I'll get to go back soon for another paid visit on a Friday for weekend stay over.
