No dope, only thing being smoked here was my quad saturday. And idt spray would even help. I think i'm at about 44 rwhp and that can-am is over 80! I really thought the 200+ lbs would slow it down some. Oh well it doesn't really matter there quads and mine seldom hits 4th gear @ WNF.

Was a great ride, we went from P3 all the way to Begleys campground and back! Then we re-fueled and road to the water fall area, or whats left of it. After that we road the 1985 loop and hit the by pass. I think we went like 54 miles or so in all.

You probably should of never made your 1st post. I'm hoping one of these two post above are true. Logging in here becoming a new user, reading a whole thread, and then stating you only herd 1 side of the story. If I had a good friend and his shop was broken into, I would hope to hear the news from him. Not stumble onto the news in a forum some 3 weeks later. And join up guns blazing defending your friend, not even knowing his side. Cause he probably hasn't finished making up his story yet! Just go talk to your buddy like I said and ask to see the fence where they supposedly came in. Compare that to my pictures, and then read the 2008 dispatch story again. And fyi it said he had recovered 50 units. And I said IDK how that would happen when he don't record vin#'s. Also tell your buddy he should start using #'d invoice's and hand out claim checks. Also have him fix the spot in the fence from 4 years ago! Those are just a few tidbit's I'd pass on to him if he was my friend.

Thanks, and just FYI MJ came highly recommended to me. And he may do good work, and sell parts cheap. But there business etiquette was not there at all in this situation. And if you want to survive in the free enterprise, you have to take care of your customers, small or large and treat them right. Or the word may just get around, and around...

7/26/12 I receive the documents in the mail from Westfield insurance. And as I’m reading it Jon calls me and asked if I received them! And I said yes and asked how long he would be there tonight, so I could get my check. He said he was leaving soon, but someone else could help me. And they did, my hat’s off to Mj’s insurance people. This whole deal could have been a lot easier to deal with from the start if there would have been the tinniest bit of professionalism on Mike Jenkins behalf. MJ and his staff had no etiquette about them at all, how he’s been in business this long is beyond me. I was looking for a small service place to take care of my needs when I can’t do the repairs myself. I still have my Honda and 3 small Polaris’s for the kids. So he has at least lost the service of 5 units, well 4 remaining from my house alone. Even if he had nothing to do with the disappearance of my unit, the way he and his staff handled it was totally wrong. Saying insurance isn’t going to cover it, and then acting like the little disclaimer on his invoice leaves him with no responsibilities, what a joke MJ USA is. And that "ohioroadrat" probably is the counter boy that was scared of my 4'10" wife, lol... I would like to thank all forum member’s that replied in this thread, as well as any and all that find a new shop for there cycle needs. And I would like to really thank the following members, attack painter & his buddy I will not name, buildit, and MuddyRabbit for putting me in contact with the right people. Cause like I said before MJ was keeping my unit hush hush from his insurance agent, as well as the authorities which makes no since to me. If making a claim why not list all customers lost property!!! Copy of corner of check the last and only good thing I will see that says MJ USA So there's the proof they are responsible for your property! Thanks again all!!!:bow:

7/23/12 Left v/mail for Jon Marks. Recording said he was out of office today. 7/24/12 Left another v/mail for Jon Marks MJ's insurance adjuster. 7/25/12 Jon Marks calls me back! And tells me he was having difficulties with getting a hold of M.J. all last week no luck, and finally made contact with him on Tuesday the 24th. And they agreed to discus the matter on the 25th. After they work things out Jon told me he would call me back and let me know where we stand. He did call back! And said he had some documents for me to sign along with a power of attorney form for the title to the Scrambler, and he would need the title of vehicle. And said he will mail these forms out, and when I get them I can return them to his office and pick up a check for $2343.30! At 1st I thought he was going to low ball me on the quad. He was like we use a scale of 1-5 and usually I go with a 3, but in your case I gave it a 4 because you said it was in having some work done on it. I was thinking 1 was best and 5 worst, but I guess a 1 was worse? I will post up as soon as I receive the check, as well as thanking all of you for the help and there were at least 2 key people that I owe a lot too. Yea I usually try and d/shift to 2nd before those blind corners. But even 10-15 mph head on wouldn't be fun. I hope you all had a god time and w/out incidents.

7/13/12 received e-mail from Jon Marks {MJ’s Insurance adjuster}, confirming he received my e-mail with the 2 documents he asked for. And also advised me this should be wrapped up next week, but he would be out of the office on Monday. As of this evening 7/20/12 I have not herd back from MJ’s insurance or anyone else for that matter. I will try and contact the adjuster Monday am and see what’s going on. And the police report # still does not come up online. Also will email the AG and see if he has had any response from MJ as of yet. Last I talked to the AG was 7/9/12, I’d think that would be time for a response but maybe not.

We got some much needed rain this week, so I hope the guys scared of dust will come out and play. And I think Steve may be missing in action again, maybe he will come out of hiding for the 28th ride.

http://www.slime.com/ I'd use this before stop leak or fix a flat. And my pads lasted 2 years, but I ran alot in W.va and the down hill there is hard on breaks. If you've been adding fluid you probably need pads.

I knew mine were bad cause the fluid in the site glass was low.

yea what the rest said, and its $34.75 for a 3 year plate. And a lot of the other state parks ie Perry don't require the additional trail pass, just Wayne as far as I know. "Loud pipes save lives" No noise restrictions but you are required to have a spark arrestor. P3 if you look at the trail map the parking areas are marked with a blue square and a red P in the middle. P3 is by the 1985 loop. If you enter from route 33 onto company road, you just go straight back. 1st you will see P1 on the right, keep going and P2 will be on the right as well. And if you went left at P2 that would take you to P4 and 5, but go straight after P2 and it will end at P3.

If you all do this I might be tempted to drive down from where I stay, and ride a day with you all. But if it don't go down you and a few chosen ones could pull a trailer or two down by my family's land and rough it for a night or two. As long as your not apposed to the activities that you see. Just remember what happens in the holler stays in the holler. lol

It's a trail system in W Va. broken into several areas. But really anywhere in the state is good trail riding. The whole state is nothing but trails from what I've seen. Although I have not riden on the Hatfield and Mccoy system I've rode what they call the outlaw trails around there a lot. I've seen plenty of video's of the trail system and have talked to people that have went. My family lives about 20 miles north on 52 from Williamson.
