So far no help from public media, or the Attorney General's office. BBB did respond, and said they sent the owner a e-mail. As you know lawyer's are not cheap. And this was after all a 2001 Scrambler, that's why some say it was taken and not some other the nicer units left at shop. Thinking I would not pursue this to much. I think today I'm going d/town for a complete copy of police report, then over to the court house to talk to the city prosecutor's office. Just to see what they have to say, if no help there I guess small claims court may be next? I'd like to thank all the member's on this forum for the help, and spreading the work about this worthless sob.

I was told they get broken into all they time there, and when I said really the kid said well a lot. So I looked on line at http://www.columbuspolice.org/reports/ And found 2 whole reports. And the 1st one was for $10.00 in damage. Now if they report that petty shit, come on. The 2nd one did show a laptop and quad and a broken door. Should be easy to spot, if you notice one with a broke head light, a couple of the dash lights are out well the lens is broke the light still works, like the neutral and reverse lens, and rear bear claw ex tires, not many of them out there at all. I just got the report online it's not complete, but I doubt the real one has it on it either. And I've contacted all I can think of, so far just a response back from BBB.

Right they have never called me. And the boy said they arrived at shop 7am and noticed the break in. Never called police or at least there was no report. And they never called me, said they just thought it was best to wait for me to show up. Now my wife did talk to the owner by phone from his shop, he was at Red white and boom. Told her sorry but there was nothing he could or would do, hope you have insurance.

I have report #, no one has contacted me. The one officer said it was there job to secure my property while it was in there possession. And the kid just said some bs and the officer's responded I'd be pissed too, and I wouldn't leave either! The 2nd officer said to give it a few days and talk to owner, to see what he has to say after a few days to think about it.

The disclaimer says " Not Responsible for loss or damage to cars or articles left in cars in case of fire, theft or any other cause beyond our control." Doesn't the fact that its not a car mean anything. And that the key was left in unit, was surely something w/in there control! And there w/order's are so generic it's not funny. For one there not numbered, and for two they give no claim check's!

Well I have the work order, and as far as I know they are not denying it was there. Just that's it's gone now, and they left the key in the unit! And IDT there was anything else stolen, that was just part of there story. Or there would of been more pissed customer's, and they would of mentioned it to the police when they arrived to take the report. All they reported was some bs about the counter boy ryan kerr scared of my 4'10" wife. Because he told us to leave, and she said were not going anywhere. Then he looks at the few other groupies hanging out, and says we can remove you, then she said I'd like to see you try. Believe me we were not treating anyone, we were just there waiting to get a police report. I knew this kid was lying and full of shit as soon as he told me the 1st part of his story. The part that did it was, were waiting on a detective to call us back with the report #. I know that's BS the police on the scene give the reports #'s.

Well if anyone looks then up on BBB it will still show up. And I also e-mailed the reporter that did that story in the dispatch in 2008. Just cause same cable in fence was mentioned way back then. And if it's been broken since 2008 and never repaired! I'd say that negligent on there half as well as leaving key's in unit's. I'm hoping she will do a nice little story on this place. 6 on your side may help, but there part time 3 days a week, and like 3 hours a day, ran by volunteers. That's why I'm reaching out to anyone and everyone. Not sure if there are Lawyers that would take the case and collect there fee's from them.

Here's a few picture of where they told us they cut the fence and took all the units out. First picture is of the cut cable, that was also quoted in the 2008 dispatch story as being cut. You tell me does this cut look 12 hours old, or 3.5 years? Second picture is showing how close it is to wall of other building. And they said quads were probably road up and over that telephone pole, in between fence post and telephone pole. If quad went over the pole it would hit the building before making turn. Notice no damage to ground either. Third picture is face on of fence. No doubt it was repaired but looks long ago, by the weeds growing up through fence and all. And no fresh rubs on the pole they supposedly rode over. And no way a buggy went over the log and cleared the top rail of fence, and then there's the turn before the building 3ft. after fence! But like I said that was just there story, they didn't report anything stolen at all.

When I dropped my quad off, I was told it would be stored inside. When I went to get it I was told it was out in the lot with all the jet ski's, with key in ignition! It's all just BS cause if all the so called stuff was stolen, they would of filed a report. And contacted there insurance agent. Not to many people even know how to start that Polaris. The on/off switch slides left/right. Middle is on and you use your thumb to tilt it up to start it.

Thanks, you cant tell me all the units stolen and they felt oh well why bother with a police report. We have a clause on a repair order, were good, just tell customer's sorry and time for you to go.

Can you tell me in 04-07 was the cable on the north end of fence cut, like he reported to dispatch reporter in Dec 2008? And was it the practice to leave keys in units outside back then?

That story says he has found 50 stolen vehicles. And whats funny is I was told its not there policy to write down Vin #'s on invoices today! They probably do have shop insurance, but I don't believe anything was really stolen, but my quad. Like I said they didn't call police, and they had no evidence to support a break in. I will try and talk to Mike Thursday. I have no insurance on this quad, its a 2001 scrambler! I will also try 6 on my side. And they were trying to lock up store and leave before police arrived to take the report! We told them fine, but were no going anywhere and your leaving a scene of a crime. And they acted like they were going to lock us in the store!

Do you know someone else this has happened too? And as far as shop insurance, IDK owner was not there and the kid said he was told if we didn't have insurance we were screwed. I tried to pick quad up mon night, but there power was out, and they wouldn't let me leave a credit card, and take unit while I was there with trailer. What piss's me off the most is they didn't even call me and tell me. Just waited till I showed up again to p/up unit! Took my 2001 Polaris 500 4x4, in for service. And they out right stole my quad and told me I was screwed, unless I had insurance on it. The kid at counter said they broke in over night, last night, stole like 7-8 quads. The guy from service area, said it was like 2 sport quads 2 4x4's a dirt bike and a couple of buggy's, one buggy's worth well over 10k. There was no police report filed, until I did. They let me arrive to pick up my quad, and told me it was stolen you need to leave! And when Police arrived the only thing the 2 from MJ wanted to report was my wife threating the little counter boy. They said we have no Idea what all was stolen, so that's why we didn't report it. They took no picture's of any evidence of a breaking in. And both employee's at store said they didn't work there. And the kid also informed me they always leave the key's in the units. While I was there for over 2 hours. I watched them get 3 keys from behind counter. And as far as I know the owner is Mike Jenkin's well of coarse he was gone for the day. Any idea's help or other stories please let me know!
