  1. Wow that's sounds sick! You have any picture's to start the chatting with?
  2. Now I now where I'm fueling up at, lol.
  3. U2 are banking on them not running out, especially you mudrunnerz getting there sat am. IDK I hope they have plenty of stock.
  4. Now have the personal plates installed.
  5. We can always just park at the trail head and ride over around 11ish if were not camping.
  6. I got mine there yesterday, it's the same as before. Orange this year was yellow last year.
  7. Here's a few sites to look at. http://www.trailsheaven.com/businesses/category/cabins_camping__rv,34.aspx http://www.burningrockwv.com/ http://www.hatfieldmccoymarathon.com/Accommodations.cfm
  8. I would hope so, cause IDK how you'd keep a printed one all season. Unless your able to print as many as you want, but still I'd rather have the permanent plate deal.
  9. Added the white decals to my rear valance. Looks 10x better imo. Here's the before and after pictures.
  10. Thanks for the info, and yes I am just wanting one for looks. Although it would be nice to be functional in the long run. Cause you never know how many add on's I will bolt on. I know once the car is paid for I will be looking into the Super charger. Any way I like the looks of that 1st bar, but I may be steering towards a solid single bar. Like the one used in the 2008 - 2009 ROUSH BlackJack Mustang with Solid bar construction.
  11. Thanks, 1979 F150 full size Ranger 4x4 has a 351 Cleveland engine in it. Stock had the straight 6 cy 300 ci. Stock motor kept cracking piston skirts.
  12. Thanks! I used to like the 04 body style, but I can get used to this one. The newer style like your is sweet too, just hasn't had time to grow on me yet. Thanks, it looks so clean it has a fake appearance to it. Did you see the movie with Will Smith, called I am legend? That car looked fake in blue ray, and my stang makes that one look like poop!
  13. Thanks guys! I added the Roush billet fuel door the other day. This was hard to find, as it was nla from Roush Performance.com and several ebay seller act like they have it, but don't! I found it at Summit Racing. Placed order after 9pm and it arrived next day before 3pm! Now that's service! I'm trying to figure out what type of strut tower brace to buy.
  14. Count me in! I'm hoping we stay for the after ride festivities, but I wont be driving so not sure?

    Hub bearing

My Malibu just turned 80k. And another thing bad about this vehicle is the front rotors. I had them turned by dealer under warranty at 20k. Then around 40k I replaced, and then at 60k. And they just went again so I tried upgrading to the cross drilled and slotted rotors. I have herd the rotors warping will cause the hub bearing to go. And someone else told me the Malibu's have under size front brake system, the same size as the Cavaliers. I am hoping the better rotors will help dissipate the heat, and eliminate my problems with warping rotors and hub bearings. I have over 155k on my Firebird, I bought used with 86k on it. And I have never changed a bearing or rotor. So I don't believe the video stating all GM's have hub bearing troubles. Maybe my bird isn't new enough to have these problems, idk it's a y2k bird
  16. As I read this, I am hollering at the wife, "Where's my tent and sleeping bag!" lol
  17. Sounds like I should make it in plenty of time then. And you make this sound tempting to show up just for the Friday night! If my buddy is a load out he will be coming with me. He has the brand new Can-Am Renegade X Xc 1000. Will definitely be there and look forward to the breakfast and the ride.

    Hub bearing

    Hub bearing

Last September I replaced the left front hub wheel bearing on my 2003 Chevy Malibu. Well it started getting noisy again already! I purchased through ebay Detroit Axle. they give a 1 year warranty. Not sure how that works, it's not like I can send the bearing in and wait for a replacement 2-3 weeks. So I am wondering who makes a good bearing at a decent price that will last more than a year? I've herd Raybestos and Timken. There around $75 to $100 each. The one I received from ebay was like $36.00 Some bargain ehh, if you don't mind changing them every 5-6 months.
  20. How early are you guys planing on heading out sat. am?

    Wax

I never used the nu finish to see if it restores like in the junk yard videos. I use the polish, and car will bead water forever. I also use real wax if and when I have the time. Mostly I use a lot of the Meguiar's Ultimate Quik Detailer. It is fast and easy, I am always to busy to wax the right way so I like the spray on's. The other day I picked up this stuff haven't tried it yet. http://www.eagleone.com/wax-as-u-dry
  22. I passed up on a brand new 2004 40th edition Roush stage 2 V6. awhile back. It was a sweet deal the 05's were out so the dealer had like a huge rebate on car, and was tossing out the price of the Roush package all together! Car was right around 20k. They offer'd me a measly 9k for my 2003 Malibu LS loaded with leather interior, with less than 10k miles on it. I just paid over 20k for it a year before! I tried to get them to give me 12,500 for my trade, but the most they came up was 9,800. So I walked, it was a sweet ride. I like the 05 body style better but the Roush package on that 04 was bad ass. The thing I like the best, besides the racing chip in the motor was the custom billet aluminum rocker panels. Makes the plastic door sills look like plain cheap shit. I wish I could find these in the after market world for my 2006. Thanks thanks thanks!
  23. I'll bet that will be a bad ass car, but no way I could afford one like that. Stage 1 is all I could possible budget. If you get a picture of your buddy's car post it up! I guess you two missed the part of my post about clearing out the garage. The biggest thing in there was a 1979 F150 4x4. I'm in a long process of restoring it. And I always have the wife's Suburban. Here's a picture of the old truck waiting on the wrecker.
