He just sent me the VIN 302026 Local police haven't been much help at all, but some private investigation has turned up some really good info. I think he's close to getting his car back in one piece! *I can list the full VIN if necessary

I think it's great, and even better if he takes a different stripper back there and rails her every evening. I'd say that would seal the deal that he has won.

Definitely start with MIG, they're easier to play around with. Get a pile of scrap metal, casually ask a couple guys for some pointers, and spend a few hours researching on the internet and dive in. You should get comfortable within a couple weeks and have a basic understanding, then go after the TIG.

Probably going to convert to disc brakes up front and big bolt pattern with a new wheel/tire setup. Would like to have a bottle on it by spring, but need to be able to stop it before making it faster.

The car was at another friends house being worked on, I don't believe the owner was anywhere near the car when it was stolen (around 2:30 am). Again, I'm not sure of all the details, just doing what I can to help my buddy get his car back. I'm sure it was just a lucky break for a random pill head.

Thanks for sharing guys. I actually came out this morning to find that a few CDs had been taken from my truck and I flipped out. I washed it last night while my son took a nap and I only hit the lock button once so it wouldn't honk the horn, and apparently it locked all but the drivers door. I always lock my stuff up and have never had an issue in the 5 years I've owned the house. It was either a complete moron or something spooked them, because they only took 3 out of the 4 CDs that were in the console and left the folder of 80+ CDs in the passenger seat, my Oakleys, etc. I sincerely hope that the pill my 3 CDs are traded for causes an OD, or at the very least causes an outrageous nose bleed and the user bleeds out or chokes to death on the blood. Fuck a thief.

I was wondering about what sounds like the throttle cutting back with each shift. Is that something that can be taken care of with the tune? I love how it cut a 1.40 on the stock wheels with radials. Definitely more "sleeper" than running the C5Z wheels and .6+ quicker to 60 haha
