iwashmycar - Thanks for the heads up. Really not concerned with bling, just want to update it.
POS VETT - I'm afraid to even ask the price on the HRE's, not sure this truck is worthy of them lol. It has aftermarket wheels on it now with 275/55-16s. The 275/45-20 is just what seems to be the preferred size on trucks with a slight drop, which I plan to do.
Bought an '03 SCSB 2wd 5.3 truck and want to dress it up a little for daily driver use. Anybody have some factory/option 20s with decent tires for sale? Preferably polished or chrome with something around a 275/45-20.
I usually prefer the NB body style, but in this case there's no doubt I'd put all the nice stuff in the NA and part out/scrap the NB. The fact that you stressed dirt cheap, I'm assuming you would pretty well recoup your total investment in the two cars and end up with a nice, fun car.
Really nice looking combo. Dodge has some great deals on Chargers and Challengers right now. I keep looking at the T/A's, I think it's a great looking retro theme.
Car is looking great, I love watching the progress of it. One thing that my eyes are drawn to is the front bumper, I think getting it straightened out will make a big difference.
What is the wife's vehicle?
To me, if you're willing to sell the SRT10 and trash the X5, plus get a loan for a fun expensive daily, why not keep the SRT10 you love, trash the X5 and get the same loan for a cheapish reliable daily?
Possibly the coolest car I've seen on here. Glad to hear you drive and enjoy it. Care to share a little more on the contest? Sounds like an interesting story.
