  1. The Hackett in Marietta. Really nice place. The is the view from the Galley outdoor patio. Great food. One of the bars down there with a sense of humor.
  2. With that type of low mileage, it's not even broken it yet. We had a 2001 and it was a phenomenal truck. I still miss it but we don't haul big trailers anymore so it was really overkill. Mary
  3. Good write up. How nice that she brought you the fan. That's very thoughtful! Mary
  4. Thank you. I was going to post a question about this today. I rode by on Saturday and didn't see the road closed signs but we were headed home already so I couldn't check to make sure it was actually open. Mary
  5. We did 377 north from 550. The last part further up north has been repaved. The rest is in ok. Not horrible and but not great either. I could see that being a lot of fun if it were repaved all the way.
  6. That is so funny! I still enjoyed the movie although the first was better. Have you ever seen this video? It's great. It's actually an Audi commercial http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WPkByAkAdZs
  7. We did 550 last weekend. Haven't done that one in years due to the previously poor pavement. I'll tell you. The section near 377 is just a blast. I could go back and forth there for an hour if I could figure out a way to not get in trouble.

OK. I'll bite. If the Pani is such a fine piece of a... machinery, explain WSBK 2013 stats to me? I get needing to develop a new bike but this is pretty pitiful. And it's not the rider because Checa was doing alright on the old bike. The 1098 out of the box worked pretty darn well for being such a leap away from the 1199. http://www.worldsbk.com/en/season/stats.html

In all fairness to Ducati riders, it requires a significant amount of caffeine to be this douchey.

My husband has a Monster S4RS that is a really wicked bike. I think you'd like that. There are some rumors about a higher HP Monster coming but nothing substantial yet. Mary

I'm old school. I like the trellis frame, single sided swing arm, under seat exhaust and dry clutch. I just can't help but think they will go back but I guess we will see. Regardless, my next bike will probably be a more comfy Streetfighter Mary
  14. I ran mine for the first time this past weekend. Put 370 miles on them and I LOVE them. They are a huge improvement over the Q2's. I felt the Q2's were heavy going into the turns but they made up for it in how stable they were. Well, they fixed the heavy turn in and these tires just handle great all the way through. They just feel a lot better. All around great tire!!! Mary
  15. We ended up staying at The Hackett and the place was great!!!! Ate steaks at the galley restaurant below and they were delicious! We had breakfast at the Lafayette and I agree with earache - I'm so glad we didn't stay there! More later...... Mary
