I did the exact same thing in the exact same spot yesterday during my first race. Edit: Going off in turn 4 that is.

I had a good day, not crazy about my actual results, but had a ton of fun racing with friends, and that's what matters. Cox, Mikey, and I had a freakin blast in the Mini 20 dicin back and forth for a good portion of the race while we negotiated traffic trying not to lose each other. Brandon got me at the end, but unfortunately for him the race was over. Hahaha... sucka! Great racing. I snagged a fourth in that race and a fifth in 600 SBK 2, in which I ran a 1:03.1 which is a new personal best for me there. I gotta be happy with that. Congrats to Andrew on the win... 1:01, jesus christ!

So, I got this thing fixed... finally. I switched out the fuel pump, checked all the simple stuff, no go. Eventually I narrowed it down to a bad coil. Got some new (used) ones, put some new spark plugs in for good measure, and she runs like a bat out of hell now! Ready to tear it up at Pitt Race this weekend! Thanks for the help, everyone.

Dude, I'm in the same boat. I've been trying to get a hold of him for the last week and a half by phone and email. No response. Which is weird because he usually gets back to me in a somewhat reasonable amount of time. Looks like we're gettin gridded at the back! haha

I know, my bad. I'm fairly certain it's one of the coils, which I checked out and one seems to be bad. So I'm putting in new plugs and coils, which should be here Thursday. Another member on Kawiforums had the exact same issue and it looks like thats what I have goin on... I hope.

I appreciate it, man. I actually have a battery charger. But yes, you are absolutely correct, it will be hard to test anything without being able to legally ride it on the street. Luckily, my bike is currently in Geneva and, in theory, one could possibly run it down a country road real quick. (Although I personally would never break the law in such a way.) I'm considering taking it to a test and tune night at Thompson and running it down the drag strip a few times while trying different things.

Could it still be the fuel pump even if the bike runs fine until it hits the upper rpm range? I actually have a spare fuel pump so I can definitely check that out.

Valves were adjusted before the start of this season, so I really hope that's not it! I appreciate the input guys, at this point I'm trying to get as many ideas as I can so I can come up with a little list of things to possibly check when I dig into the bike in a couple days.
