Over on stroop turning onto dogwood there is a nice lil bump(not a speed bump) I never noticed it in my car, but on my bike the first time I hit it(mid break) I thought I was gunna wipe out, now I know I just gotta slow down before the bump and then break after the bump.
-
The bp on stroop has a now hiring sign on their door. I think it's just for first shift though(6am-2pm)

@ madcat, your points are invalid. Jusy cuz u don't like me has nothing to do withme knowing how to or how not to ride a bike. Oh wow exarch crashed on his very first time out of the neighborhood... If that was bad what do you have to say about people who crashed who had more experience than just riding around the neighborhood before the crash? get over my 1 first time out crash homie, but if ur saying its dumb to ride in the snow/ice aswell, well I did it with no problems at all.

I'll try to get out there this weekend if I can swing it, I got a motorcycle meeting at marions Saturday 1pm by the Dayton mall(feel free to drop by). My dads a member so he wants me to join. They are mainly cruisers, but they take in sports bike riders. The guy that runs it has been riding for 54 years and seems like a pretty level headed guy from the short time I talked to him. Also the best thing about the club is that there is a zero tolerance alcohol rule, otherwise I would of passed on joining. I may also be going out of town (Connecticut) this week, but that's still up in the air, but if not I'll be doing what I mentioned above. Ya, I was made about it, my bike was near mint and I hadn't even rode it more than maybe 15 miles. There was a tiny almost unnoticeable scarch at the base of the front right fairing and that was it. So ya I was mad and irrational.

So I went for a nice little chilly ride today. I went out to find a ginger bread man (Motorcycle challenge) and had no luck, which was fine by me because I just drove around aimlessly for 1.5 hours till my hands couldn't bare the cold anymore. That's really about it, I got alot of crazy looks though Once I got back from my ride I decided to do some work to it. I made an attempt to change out my kickstand, which was full of fail. My rear stand is too small for the bike, I couldn't get the screw off the kickstand and me and my dad just froze our ass off for about an hour before we gave up. After that we decided to hook up the battery tender, that went nice and smooth and it's set up so we don't have to mess with it ever again. Here are a few pics from where my dad got sideswiped by a car, it's dark outside so they arnt the greatest quality. New mirror scratched up sliders, alternater cover, shifter and swingarm. Scratched up rear fairing. The bike never went down, that's just the damage from where the bike and the car hit and I think the mirror hit the shifter judging by where the scratch is. My next thing to do is replace the front tire(no tread in some spots, rest is warn dowm pretty good) and while I'm at it I will have them do my kickstand and put some fresh fluids in it. Not sure where I'm gunna take it yet, but performance cycles is on the top of my list (next to Goodyear on woodman Dr)

Insurance is $300/year, that's not an issue, I blow through that in a month on cigs and energy drinks alone. Money isn't an issue, we were gunna file, but I don't see that happening anymore, so just dumb judgment on my part. It don't even matter about the bike, I was pissed about that, but I'm more disappointed how he goes behind my back. Pretty much the final straw before I snapped, it's nice to know what's important to him.

Here are some text screen shots from a while back. Here I tell him don't do ANYTHING to the bike period Here is me telling him NOT to touch the bike till it has a new kickstand(which it doesn't) Here is him provoking me about him riding it knowing I told him no Proof of him doing it just to be an asshole to me. No means no, I don't know how much clearer I could have been, I did tell him he can ride it next spring when he is with me, not out showing off like a spacon(misspelled? Its Italian for an idiot show off who likes to be flashy and impress people). He obviously shows no respect, I'm the asshole for being disrespected? I payed cash for that shit btw desmo, ya I got bad credit(never had or wanted a credit card before my wife and now I regret ever touching one or having a wife that used it all the time) I can't really put anything new in my name so I asked my dad for his help, unfortunately. Doesn't matter, it's his shit and I just want my money back as it wasn't a gift, call it a loan I guess? I was dumb enough to pay for it and I was dumb enough to trust him to do the right thing and I was dumb enough to get fucked. I'm out a bike and $5k apparently according to him, what kind of dad would do that to their kid? Tell me how I'm in the wrong for trusting someone that's supposed to be trusted? Dumb? Sure... Wrong? I'm missing something here...
-
Key word stored aka put up aka not to be ridden aka a place for safe keeping... I would of gladly paid for storage else ware, which was my original intent... Doesn't matter now, he obviously chooses himself and others over his kid. So I get fucked over.

It's my dad, I'm supposed to trust him He is supposed to do favors for his son, I know I will for mine. I shouldn't have to worry about him going behind my back(which he does alot since I started riding/asking him for favors). I love my dad, but I just know now I need to quit asking for his help. People are right, I shouldn't have to ask anyone for help, I'm sure no one else here has ever asked their parents for help(since turning 18) . No one here has ever been upset with their parents I'm assuming aswell, especially over some lesser issue than going behind their back? I wish my dad would listen to me, I told him he is gunna get himself killed on my bike, which is one of the main reasons I didn't want him riding it(not to mention how easy it is to tip over). He is lucky he didn't end up in the hospital(or worse) after hitting another car. I guess once he fixes it I will just leave it infront of my house during the winter so I don't have to worry about him riding it(which he will do anyhow, doesn't matter where it is parked since he refused to give me the key back, which he has so he can start it up during the winter) I mean he did it with my car, even took it upon himself to make himself a key for my car(paid for 100% by me 0 missed payments, hec I double-tripple payments on it and 100% in my name cuz he refused to cosign for it) so he could take it without my permission(fucked up? I know right?) I guess it's my fault for expecting my dad to do something for me without wanting something in return, as usual. Here is a backstory of our history and examples of what I'm talking about. Me and my dad didn't get along very well growing up, I move in with my mom at 13/14, then I move in with a friend at 15. 15-18 I live with my friend, finish HS get a.job and go to college. My dad.soon after.moves back to Ohio and I move in with him, college quarter comes to an end(payed.for.100% by me) I can't pay him rent money,.he tells.me no money no house so.I join the army(no.other option) I get.back from the military, pay him rent for a.few.months(while struggling to pay for college/new car payment) making only $300 a month, no choice but to quit.college and get a.full.time.job so I could pay him rent(2.full.time.jobs+reserves.actually) got married and moved out. lesson learned, don't ask family for help, you get fucked every time.

I was plan on wrecking it myself today, I had it all planned out. I was gunna take it up to ft ancient and do a reenactment of my first(last) crash. Seriously though, how would u feel if someone took something of yours, especially after you told them no and they ended up destroying it? Doesn't matter what it is, t.v., car, bike, book, sammich, laptop, broom, etc... How would that make you feel? You would be pissed off? Amiright? If my shits gunna get destroyed I'd prefer to be the one that destroys it. I'm more pissed off he keeps taking my shit without my permission(just so he can brag about it) than I about the damage. Well, I told him he better fork up some cash cuz everyone here can see that it's his bike, he even has it listed and so I just want the money back I gave for it now, it clearly wasn't a gift. I'm sick and fucking tired of him bragging to everyone all the fucking time and trying to show off like an idiot. he has destroyed so much shit and injured himself numerous times just so he can "look cool" infront of other people. Obviously he only cares about boosting his own fucking ego all the time. We fucking get it, your fucking handicapible, now quit acting like a fucking child all the God damn time.
-
He has his own bike... The bike stays there for the winter as I don't have a garage... Nope end of story, dad can't listen and doesn't give a shit what I tell him.
-
That sir is what I like to refer to as a joke. The problem is he doesn't fucking listen or respect my shit. I told him NOT to ride it and he did, multiple times now... The problem is he does whatever the hell he wants to, he can't ask permission like normal people do, he can't take no for an answer either... Would I of let him ride it? Sure, I told him when I get my kickstand on he can ride it next summer(with me, not with a bunch of strangers cuz he likes to show off)
-
Sweet, u gunna sell it and repay me my loan or u gunna pay me off during tax season? It's your bike so which ever is cool with me, I just want my loan back so I can buy myself a bike. Not interested in that one, gunna pick up something new from the dealership with tax money + the money u owe me.
-
Have fun on your new bike, dont destroy it before you finish paying it off since im the OBVIOUS lender in this case.
-
Cuz im a dumbass who thought he could trust his dad when I said dont fucking ride it. Obviously there isn't trust between us though as he always has to think everything is his as usual and doesnt give a fuck what I say as usual. He would rather look cool on his stupid fucking group ride with a bigger bike like everyone else. Btw dad who has the deed to your house? You? Nope, but the bank does. Does that mean they can come in their house any time they please, I mean its their house after all, so what if your paying them koney? Also considering its their house all that shit belongs to them thats inside the house apparently... keep the bike, its obviously yours, I just want my money back. you owe me $5k(how much I have invested in it) and another $120 for the kickstand. Hope you like it.

Sometimes when i.go to sleep I I just dont want to wake up EVER again

Ya I'm pissed, ya it's just a mirror and wasn't layed down.... He didn't respect my wishes when I told him not to touch it, then I get this bullshit fucking excuse since it's in his name he can do whatever the fuck he wants with it. That's pretty fucking shitty if you ask me and then he goes bragging all.the.time about.my.bike(his he says).to.everyone and about how he does.all this.stupid.crazy.shit.on my bike(even my old one) to make himself look good. Hell he even claims my.bike.as his.own on this website... I.dont even drink often, but he pissed.me.off so bad.ive been drking all day now and then ue wants.$200 for registration after.he.fucks.my bike.up when he knows I didn't.want it insured/registered till summer when I had it back at.my house, but his ass had to pressure me.into.it(which he would have.done regardless anyhow so it didn't.really fuckong matter) I hear that.its in my name.blshit enough from my.cunt fucking wife, I sure as fuck don't need.to hear it from my dad. fuck my life it don't mean shit anyone no one gives 2 fucking shits, everyone just cares about their.own fucking selves and what other people thijk.about them. I dont even know.why I bothrr anymore, its alo for nothijg.
-
He smashed the mirror after colliding with the car, that was it, but I'm still pissed about it. He didn't even tell me about it till I went up to get the bike. That shit pisses me of... He got a new mirror for.it but.I told him to.send that shit.back and get.me.the integrated mirrors I want. I also want him to get.the bike.checked out for any unseen damage, I guess its.nothing too.bad, but. im. Pretty pissed about it. Sorry im pretty tipsy., I know there are alot of.eperiods,, It was taking forever deleting thsm all.

So I go up to my dads house to put on my new kickstand and ride today just to find out he wrecked my bike... I told him not to ride my fucking bike, but he thinks it's a big fucking jole and does it anyhow. He has his own damn bike he needs to be riding, if he don't like it he needs to buy his ass a better bike instead of fucking around on my bike just so he can show off infront of other people, as usual. Not my fault he wanted a small ass bike and doesn't like it. I've rode my bike twice now once to his house and once to work. Ride your own fucking ride

They stoped at 2 we got there at 4, oh well, kids loved the planes, atleast the oldest one did lol. Might try again tomorrow since they will have it till 5.

It took me about 30 minutes at the renasons(no clue how to spell it) festival to even get my kids to pet the giant jousting horses they have. Ponies seem to scare them more than big horses for some reason though, go figure. I will probably wait till they get a little older before I start introducing them to more animals, especially since my oldest already had to get stitches from a dog bite(unprovoked). Hec, I wanted to buy them a sugar glider and figured they would do well, but even them little things scare them. They do like snakes though If I do end up taking them I'll probably keep them far away from the horses so they don't start crying. I may go tomorrow if I can swing it, the museum is just up the street. Is this an all day thing or only at certain times? Decided were gunna go today since it's nice, hopefully my boys don't start crying as soon as they see the horses.

Drunken wood splitting, better stock up on plenty of handles and wedges

On my smoke break so I haven't had time to read the whole thread yet, but when you say throttling off too much can cause issues, but gradual throttle off will be ok are you talking about like a 5mph difference? Total throttle off? Continuous gradual throttle off(long curve)? Can you touch a little more on this if you don't mind?
