I think it is just straight steel. Went to their site and could not find the friction surface, googled around and found them for $70. Ill probably go this route.

Anyone know who will resurface it in cols then? I think a new one is $100. If its gonna be more 'spensive than that, then i wont resurface it.

The guy im buying this flywheel claims the friction plate can be resurfaced with a 3M Roloc pad. Of course my other option is just purchasing the friction surface, as it is replacable. Anyone tried resurfacing one of these in this manner?
