  1. ^ supposed to have anti-corrosives in it as well haven't decided on days yet, but I'll be there one or more of the days
  2. casa de trackday.....don't need to make a special trip out on my behalf, can always toss up the tent. It is nice having everything ready to go in the morning tho. mmmm beer. I'll see if I can figure a way to haul my extra canopy for a little more room in the shade. You are going to get talked into riding BTW I'd be down to caravan, but it seems like I can never hit the road on time.....something always comes up at work or home.
  3. If you can only make one, I'd shoot for whichever fits your schedule or has a better forecast. I'll be there Friday evening through Sunday. Camping is covered by N2. Bring some cash, they are having a fundraiser auction.....Last year they had some pretty good deals; I scored a set of chicken hawk warmers for $150 or something close. Tools, bike stuff, leathers, track time, there was a lot of stuff....great food, great people, great time...
  4. tape em up....IMHO. I'd consider removing the whole license plate/rear signal bracket thing if it is just a couple bolts and connectors.
  5. Prepped the bike to drop the engine for some transmission work. Found out the battery for my 1/2" impact shit the bed while trying to remove the clutch basket retaining nut. Stuck a 2x3" between the wheel spokes and broke it in half while trying to get the damn thing loose with a breaker bar.
  6. Check with N2's rulebook, don't remember offhand, but I'd say find wear one in any case. If I had an extra you would be welcome to it.
  7. Not when there are liquor drinks involved...
  8. you ever consider bigger cheekpads? not sure which size the xl comes with(marked on the backside of the pad), but they different sizes make a significant difference.
  9. Sorry, only had 1 and it is already in the mail
  10. Sorry, must have missed it. To answer your question, the new Stars have a different visor.
  11. Was hoping to end with $50 in my pocket for the shield...throw $5 toward shipping and I can have it out tomorrow. I've already got a dark smoke or I'd be interested in the visor.
  12. Great shape transitions visor. Came with a helmet purchase, but I like tearoffs for the track and cannot bring myself to drill holes in this visor. $50
  13. No way...tire removal & repave would only make sense scheduled together or rapid succession. Then you would have to include future runoff & barriers before any paving action to prevent damage to the new surface. Once it starts, track is completely down for awhile imho
  14. wow, figured you were on .95's max. I'm running 1.0's with medium preload and I'm 215 without gear.
  15. Sounds good! PIRC 27th?
  16. Bell helmet bag with visor pocket thing. Looks like it just came out the box. I already have one and another bag. $20
  17. If you are going to "fix" your fiberglass fairings, do it right the first time....spend $20 on a fiberglass repair kit and read the instructions. Don't slap 2lbs of bondo over the crack and expect it to hold. Then when that fails, don't slather a 1/4" layer of silicone caulking all over the inside of the fairing. And finally when that doesn't hold, don't get out pieces of aluminum and pop rivets as a last resort. All that shit does is make more work to repair it correctly. /rant If you are actually interested in fiberglass repair and the rant didn't fulfill your needs, here's what I've posted previously:
  18. Give any minimum requirements for the upgrade? Probably takes up additional space than either OS. I've upgraded mine, but don't remember. Not sure if I'd do it again, no real improvement, and the drivers for my laptops dedicated graphics don't fully function. I cannot adjust the brightness of the laptop without disabling a driver, then enabling it after the adjustment.
  19. HHR offramp drifting, bro
  20. Currently a pile of parts in a pallet rack lol never put it together after the 750 swap. Just bolted the subframe on and got the electronics in place yesterday, Tank is OEM and in good shape, fairings will be interesting, I have my rashed set that will need repair and a back up I bought a long time ago that I never mounted up.
  21. cover me for tire wear and it will be there, can take the 750 for a spin too Jeff, if everything works out, interested in swapping the 600 & 650 that weekend?
  22. you can put your leathers on, then put my old ones on over those....extra protection
