    STOLEN!!

People suck...I bet she is crushed.
  2. The one that ass-rapes you with prices $0.50+ more than others in the area? I like that they have non-ethanol but only for regular - the S10 drinks the expensive stuff.
  3. People overlook it because it's attached to a gas station, I remember when I brought my friends there for the first time, they were skeptical (we do a car trip down there every year) but now it's a must do on our itinerary every year. In fact, since we realized it's closed Sundays, we've re-planned next year's trip to get there on Saturday. There's a newish BBQ place on the outskirts of Cashiers coming from Highlands that smelled damn good...I think it was Carolina Smokehouse. Wouldn't mind trying that place too.
  4. I was taken there several years ago by a local when I was down with the FZ1 guys. Since then, I've stopped every year except this year because they were closed I've actually been thinking about leaving Friday after work to break up the trip - I'll let you know. My literal ass (on the stock or Sargent seat) is not up to a 5 hour trip but I just bought a used Saddleman seat from a guy that should be here this weekend that I'm hoping will do the trick. The Sargent gets really uncomfortable after about 1.5 hours. I plotted a route with some twisties after Knoxville a few months ago which could be handy if I do part of the trip on Friday, I can't access it from work or I'd post it.
  5. Cafe Rel is worth it You can ride down Sat with us.
  6. Shit, I just realized that Cafe Rel is closed Sunday and Monday. We were just there labor day weekend and stopped on Sunday only to find them closed. It was like getting kicked in the balls.
  7. The C14 wasn't in there as there were "adventure" sport touring bikes though some would question the inclusion of a few of these that are less adventure and much more sport/touring.
  8. Yeah, the Beemer is pretty hot...was the top pick in this comparison although they had a few gripes about it. Yamaha declined to provide them with a Super Tenere - WTF?
  9. I'll check these out at home tonight. Sunday looks good (Cafe Rel nom nom). Tim, do you have a plan for the ride down and return?
  10. I guess "loud pipes save lives" doesn't apply here
  11. Someone can pick up an FJ-09 while we're down there... http://advrider.com/index.php?threads/2015-yamaha-fj-09-in-nc.1094796/
  12. It came up as cheaper...plus, yours came up as a Federal Gov't Military rate and ID proof required upon check in. That would be a little tough for me.
  13. Looking forward to it. I've been itching to get the Tenere down there and I've never been down this late in the year to see the fall foliage...and of course hanging out with the OR bros. No sammich makers on this trip I see...how will we eat?
  14. Booked a room at the Microtel...FYI - I got a better discount through AAA.
  15. Found a nice pant/bib at billy bob world today...struck out on a jacket but I found a few I may be able to order in a larger size. Pretty good chance I'm in. I'll prolly jut get a room at the microtel and ride down on Saturday. What time are you guys leaving Saturday? I can plan on meeting up with you on your way through Cinci.
  16. Guy with girl on back wipes out in the rain, grabs onto her as they're sliding down the highway ostensibly to keep her from sliding into traffic. Cant't really tell if that's the case but he did seem to keep his wits about him. https://www.youtube.com/watch?t=83&v=zG-wgqTmwRM
  17. Any of you guys running Sena headsets (or other BT headsets - can cross brands connect? never looked into it)? I've been thinking of picking up the 10U for my Neotec helmet as my SMH10 mike doesn't play well with the helmet. I was going to wait until next season but if I go and it will come in handy, I might get one early.
  18. Damn son...I hope you heal up and that bastard has to pay up
  19. I'm likely to go as well. I have no rain gear because I typically avoid riding in the rain but on a long trip it's almost inevitable you'll hit rain (another argument for trailering). So, I'm going to check out Sport Tour this weekend and see what they have for rain gear that fits. My willingness to go is contingent on finding rain gear (again, that fits...I'm not a small guy). I don't have the time to run all the way up to IP.
  20. Bill, where are you taking the class - Point Blank on your side of town?
