I'm sure I can learn to do it. But at this point in life, I have more money than time and I'd rather spend my free time doing other things like actually riding. Thanks Bandit, if I need one I'll let you know if I end up picking up the bike.

I might pick up a DRZ and the guy has an FCR 39mm (aka pumper) carb that isn't installed yet. Anyone know of any shops, preferably in the Cincinnati area, that will install and properly jet it? The bike has aftermarket exhaust and I think the 3x3 mod is done (if not, it will be). Carb work is something I've never done and I'd rather leave it to those that know what they are doing.

Camera Model: Panasonic LX3 (Black) Body Condition: 9 out of 10 (minor scratches on LCD, invisible when on) Purchased: May-2009 (New, I'm the original owner) Number of Shutter actuations: <2000 Sale Includes: All original items that came in box plus extra battery Price: $125 OBO shipped to CONUS SOLD Item location: Cincinnati Reason for selling: Needed something with more megapixels (Sony RX-700) for larger prints. Camera is in great condition, only slight wear from normal use. It was always carried in a generic case (not included). Used on those occasions not appropriate for my DSLR (or when I didn't feel like lugging it around like on the bike for instance). Excellent in low light. The lens has no scratches and is very sharp. It comes with all original items. If you check reviews on this camera, it's one of the best P&S cameras you can buy and I paid ~$600 new (demand was super high and premiums were being asked). Photos: (sorry, thumbprint on LCD)

I believe it...I just find it interesting that prominent specifications like safety ratings aren't listed in the product specifications on the manufacturers website.
-
Interestingly, I don't see either approval rating mentioned on Shoei's product site page.

Oh man, I've been wanting one of these. They are just so pricey...haven't been able to justify it yet. I currently have the Qwest helmet which is very similar but not modular.

I get itchy for a different bike a lot. Over time, I've bought and sold many to scratch the itch but it never does. No bike does everything great. I've finally decided that the best way to address it is to have multiple bikes. I'd love to pick up a cheap Versys to pair with my Z1000 and use for commuting.

If I didn't have the Z1000 I'd take the FZ1 in a minute. Had one before and it was one of the best bikes I ever owned. I like the Z1000 motor a bit more though.

I think I may have posted this before but happy to see it again

I used to be the same way until I looked into them. Husky's and KTM's come with all high-end parts (Brembo brakes, Excel rims, etc) by default and their performance is top notch. I figure why buy a jap bike and then start replacing parts with better quality stuff. Come get it! I may even be convinced to deliver at least part way

Tell me about it! It took months of searching last year to find one for sale as they don't come up much and I paid $5500 for it. I thought it would sell in a few weeks at most.

Weather is getting super nice...time for riding! This bike is probably 90% trails and 10% road setup. Better off-road the DRZ, XRL's, etc Knee surgery for me tomorrow
