She's a girl. I delivered the bike to her. I'll tell her to get back on OR before you boys hurt yourselves. Bike has full two bros system on it and runs/sounds good. I had to test it before delivery. She is very new rider and will probably not be going on group rides until she gets more parking lot practice. But the bike is very nice and clean (too nice and clean if you ask me). I recommend trashed Ninja 250 for at least one riding season. Biggie

Just flat out wrong. Not sure it's 2.2 million wrong but definitely wrong. Article states they should have charged him 39K instead of 34K. I'm no lawyer, but once you sell the vehicle, I can't imagine you can go back and ask for more money. Chalk that up a mistake you don't want to repeat. But $5K to nomal car dealership isn't going to sink them, but getting sued for being a douce will hurt them far more in sales. This was in VA. Biggie

Sorry to hear that anyone died, especially riding a good road like the GAP. Good luck to you. Everyone should learn that back brakes aren't needed and cause many crashes. I feel fortunate that my son didn't get seriously hurt during his crash when he went over the side. Luck isn't always good! Biggie

Around $600-700 for stock. Around $1000-1200 for setup and ready to go. 4x4 Fab seems to always be bulding one lately. http://www.assfaultjunkies.com/showthread.php?21315-4x4fab-s-xr100-build-2-(for-sale) Biggie #72

F4 is novice and experts. It is the largest grid at every event. 2nd largest is Stock XR100. I do believe F1 is 'experts only'. It's not hard to get bumped to expert. Biggie #72 OMRL

Great. I have a very busy week, but I must find time to swap tires. I believe I wouldn't have had such a bad day yesterday if I would have put on the new tires. The old ones are beyond their life expectancy. Promise me you'll be there nice and early:)

I keep saying that everyone should be out there racing the mini's. I crashed hard twice yesterday and my one rib is really sore, but that's about the worst you can expect. I still had a great time. I'll be there again this coming Saturday. Ryan, do you have the capability to mount tires at the track? Biggie #72 OMRL

I'd be interested in getting a quote. I live near KI.

Nice!

You won't get any points. Just a notice in the mail from OH BMV that states you got, it's on your record but no points. Your insurance may care. Biggie #72 OMRL

My concern is the forks and frame being straight. I live near Kings Island. Where is the bike?

What's the story on the 250? Why rebuilt title? How many miles? Biggie #72 OMRL

I ride my scooter more than just about anything in my garage. Can't drink an Icee and ride any of the other stuff. Not sure I will come up to ride in this, but thanks for posting. Biggie #72 OMRL

Great video. Human bodies can withstand some punishment, sometimes. Flipping end over end in the air probably saved him. When he hit the ground the energy was spread out over a little bit longer period of time. If he would have went up and then down and hit all at once, it might have been too much. I am amazed at how so many people don't think size and power has anything to do with it. I completely disagree. Super fast bikes get you in trouble quicker. Catching up on a 250 means 95 mph not 145 mph in the same distance. When it comes to my kids, they all started riding on the street on a 50cc 2 stroke, then a 125cc 2 stroke or 250cc 4 stroke. I believe in getting the mistakes out of the way at less insane speeds. Small bikes allow you more time to react. Can a responsible person start on a literbike, sure. But this isn't the best way to learn, IMO.

I always heard 'low pay' at Cintas.

Many tickets were given away for free. Kroger around Indy gave away up to 8 free tickets with two $75 purchases. I'm surely not expecting someone to have spent a lot of money to trade for a backwoods ride. ButI wouldn't turn it down either. Chris

Ass, gas or grass, nobody rides for free...

I am in need of tickets for Saturday and Sunday MotoGP. Anyone have any extras? Assuming you have some skills, I'll trade a ride on my Duc! Chris

This topic is big hurdle for many. You will be suprised at just how hard you can crank on the average sportbike bars. Fast riders aren't afraid to push/pull with a large amount of force. I have never seen anyone crash from yanking too hard. It's a mental hurdle. As far as body position and braking, you should have that done mostly ahead of time. Go out there and just work on the fast turn in. You will have to build confidence in your ability to tip the bike in quickly, thus allowing you to go faster and wait longer before turning. After a day of riding the big bikes fast, the most sore spot on my entire body is my palms, simply from pushing so hard on the bars. Little bikes (>100cc's) seem to turn in without much force. Saturday night Indy Mile is the best event for the weekend. My friend who works for IMS says attendance (sales) are way down. Therefore no problem getting tickets at time of the event. Chris

Here are some pictures from PIRC. http://www.justindurner.com/data/web/pica/index.html If this doesn't look like fun close racing...

Love everything about that car but the dash. I have come close to buying one twice, each time, I realized I still have kids and need back seats Your car looks fantastic. Enjoy it. I do like Honda, just a shame they don't use their might to make a new version of that car and a new V4 superbike for that matter. Chris AKA "Biggie Smalls" OMRL #72

Some of you are out of your fucking mind blaming the victim. Did you overlook a few key statements: "Police say Whited was under the influence of drugs at the time of the accident and her license was already suspended from a previous OVI." Two major things stand out there. First, she wasn't supposed to be driving at all, no license due to previous OVI suspension. Second, she was under the influence at the time. Now the first is more than enough, she shouldn't have been driving, so anything she does is already wrong. And for those who think everyone should wear a helmet. Great, you do that. But your idea doesn't hold up well. Bikers were doing nothing illegal (presumably) and they were run into by a person without a license and under the influence. It would be a good idea for everyone to wear helmets in cars, since the #1 cause of death in car crashes is head injury. I'm a firm believer in helmets, but I don't always wear them. I would prefer to have it on when I crash. But let's be real, your head is much larger in a helmet and more likely to hit your head when wearing a helmet. Helmet's aren't a perfect solution. Seat belts on the other hand are much more positive. I don't go 20 feet in my car without it.

I am here at BeaveRun/PIRC right now with OMRL. This is my first season and having a blast! Best class for large group is F4 (Stock NSR / Stock NSF / XR(CRF)100 with pipe. NSR and NSF allow no mods except bodywork, gearing, tires. 99% run the exact same tires and they last all season and only cost $150 per set. Top speed is around 50 mph but it is a blast. Crashes don't hurt (Normally) or tear up your bike too bad. XR's are more durable, but it's a dirtbike. I prefer sport bikes. Stock XR 100 class is 2nd biggest group. Mini racing is BY FAR THE CHEAPEST way to race motorcycles. All of the bikes mentioned above can be had for $1000-$2500 used and race ready. BTW, an F1 bike is way faster than a Ninja 250 around a racetrack. But F4 bikes are slower but way more fun and cheaper. Chris OMRL #72 AKA "Biggie Smalls"

I put on mine for my normal daily wear today and looked. They are the 3507 http://www.redwingsafety.com/safety-boot/3507-safe-us/3507-red-wing-mens-6-inch-boot-black I use them 4 - 5 days per week and they still look great after 2 years. Still comfortable. I will buy them again when they eventually wear out. Chris
