Sonata, BRZ are my last two cars. Both get 35 routinely. BRZ does it on premium. New fusion looks nice. 2013 Passat or any VW diesel. 3 series BMW gas or diesel.

If you drive a lot, which I do, an you mentioned you do as well, then fuel economy matters. You can get cars that get 35+ hwy and don't drink premium. Seems most stations charge 40 cents more per gallon instead of the 20 cents I grew accustomed to over the last few decades. TL's aren't very good in this department.

IS250 would be my choice. Hell no to any GM product (full size truck and Vette excluded). Having 6 vehicles in 12 years doesn't really tell you much about realibility IMO.

Red Wing. US made. I bought a replacement pair after a couple of years of almost daily use. Still haven't swapped and it's been a year or more. Still feel like my current ones are great. RW will clean and polish for free. Also new laces if needed. Replaced the insole once. Feel like new again. Won't buy anything else. Paid about $200.

Wheelers is awesome. Way too cheap for his own good. No reason to discount tires and service when you are the only game for miles. I tested out my scooter receiver hitch setup on the van today. One more step complete before next weeks departure.

And it has a slipper clutch. Those things are like $900 just for the parts. How this isn't sold yet baffles me. Willing to trade for a clean Miata.

Forgot to mention that I have the OEM honda dirt wheels with knobbies in great condition. Also included.

I'm with butters here. Sounds like you just wanted your stuff back super cheap and wouldn't have pushed if you could buy back at the price you wanted. I have SF and they don't pay for anything other than helmets. At least not on my policy. No one should ever buy a used helmet from a stranger.

Maybe the person who collected the gear from you is reselling through a buddy. The company may not care. They may care a lot and want it discarded. Or maybe they don't even want it collected. I guess curious iut is getting the best of you. But you wanting to keep your gear and the money for it isn't right either. For anyone collecting money more than once in the same gear is commiting insurance fraud. Small scale but fraud none the less. I wouldn't recommend admitting to it on public forum.

I dream of a standard battery pack and have service stations swap out battery packs. You pay by the pack. Small cars might take one. Large SUV may take 6.
