Prices vary but that Duc was likely 26-27K as it was an S model tricolore. You could do the same on the 23K S model without the fancy paint scheme. The new top of the line Panigale is the $65K version that is super light which would only make it even faster. Especially with the built in wheelie control. You can see the video on YouTube on the Autocar channel. Cars are faster around a track if you don't want a road legal car. You can build a light and fast car if you just care about lap times and not comfort. Hell, start with a shifter kart and go from there.

My BRZ needs a full detailing as well and the inside of my sprinter hasn't been done since I bought it. I have a full days work at least.

Looking to hire someone to detail my bikes. Must be experienced and bring your own cleaning supplies. I have a 'few' that could use some attention. If you can lube chains, bonus. Bikes are located near Kings Island. 1199, CRF250R SM, Aprilia RS125 x 2, CRF100, CRF50, NSR50, SH150i. I may be forgetting something. Looking to hire someone for all of them at once. Not per bike, but more like a 'daily' rate. None of them are very dirty. Anyone know anyone?

Barnacle Bill Racing Leathers (Alterations Review)
turnone replied to Hollywood33's topic in Track is Crack
Bill is awesome. Also a great guy and beautiful and friendly wife. We stopped by a while back to hang out and chat along with dropping off some work. He also sails and does his own sail repairs, etc. I have a strong desire to sail when I get too old to ride fast so I appreciated the talk. -

15th by area. It's all about population which it is 28th in USA.

I'm looking forward to being more Win 7 like.

I won't buy a Dodge product either with an auto tranny. Way too many issues and I remember going into the Kokomo transmission factory in the late 90's and it was the dirtiest auto plant I've ever been in. Rivaled foundry cleanliness (lack thereof). Quick research will show mass auto transmission failures during each decade with Chrysler Corp. there is a reason Mercedes sold for more than $20 Billion cheaper than they bought them. Not including all the money wasted. However, this is a nice car and deals can be had. Warranty is critical.

Problem with small two stroke is narrow power range which means more shifting and more likely to get pulled out of corners.

How much do you weigh with gear?

Racing is fun and cheap too. Bring it!

There was the crash between the NJ gentleman on his 150R and OMRL Yamaha 450F which fortunately happened behind me at the chicane on the first lap. Then the restart. I qualified second between Stump's CRF450R and Jeff's Aprilia 550. Jeff and I battled for second until he tucked the front on the brakes with me on his rear tire. This was last turn before the front straight. I felt proud I didn't run him over. Stump toyed with me a little letting me pull closer then he would pull away. I quickly realized this and backed off as I had no chance to catch and pass him. Finished second. I remember someone crashing over the hay bales at the end of the front straights. And everyone was jumping the curb after the chicane. Stump on both starts did this more than I thought was acceptable but this was just trivial as he would have kicked my ass taking the slow way through there. During the awards they informed me that I actually had the fastest lap of the race. Whoever came back on track in front of Jeff and I held us up and let Mr Stump get too far in front. I don't remember any DQ's.

Calendar was broken into two parts last few years. North track (big stuff i cars and full size bikes) and Wilson Circuit (little stuff ie karts, minis, super moto). They also have a large parking lot area for SCCA AutoX stuff. Karts run CW at Wilson, bikes run CCW. Looking at their site now, it seems all combined. Hope that gets cleared up, otherwise, I recommend calling or emailing to make sure. Chris

Need to check the calendar to make sure track isn't taken that day or weekend.

My favorite part at PIRC on my SM Is the tight left hairpin uphill heading towards the last left before the front straight. Full throttle, still leaned over and the rear tire squirming under duress the whole time. Just thrilling. I don't remember a DQ, but I didn't race stock XR last year.

PIRC is awesome for Super Moto. It has some faster sections that let the bigger bikes shine.

Unless you drop 200 lbs of weight and 6 inches from the wheelbase you won't find it to be very fun. I rode my 2009 Aprilia rs125 at CRP to scrub in some tires and it's smaller than your SV and probably 140 lbs lighter. It was borderline no fun due to it's size. I could keep up with some SM's but risk of crashing is a lot more $$$. I rode my 1199 there and it was down right terrifying! Totally no fun. Get an XR100 or a SuperMoto and you will have a lot more fun. NSR50 or NSF100 also work well depending on your size.

You won't enjoy a full size bike on a cart track. I've tried it.

Also part of the case for war that turned out to be bull shit. SH was only interested in himself and fought against anything that threatened his power in Iraq including radical or political Islam. All reports have concluded no credible links to SH and terrorism outside of Iraq. At least one World Trade Center bomber lived in Iraq for years but that doesn't mean SH was a supporter. How many world criminals live in the USA? Then compare Iraq to places we call friends and those seem to harbor and create the most terrorists. Can't say that was worth all the killings and the two trillion dollars spent.

Motorcycle Dealer's Cost vs MSRP on a new bike. Advice?
turnone replied to JackFlash's topic in Daily Ride
Flat torque curve is easier to ride as HP progresses with RPM more consistently. But shit, so many choices. Your next bike doesn't have to be your last. Buy something that's a good value and give it a go. Sell it and get another. All bikes (with very few exceptions) have more than enough power.
