A helmet has been acquired, and basic gloves that I bought when I first got into riding have been found. Thanks to all of the offers! If anybody has any gauntlet gloves or riding boots to sell, I'm looking for those now... my big bulky work boots don't look quite as nice with my suit tucked in as it does with riding boots, haha. Some Pirelli Sport Demons should be coming in today. I'll be Michelin Man'ing my way down to the shop to have them put on! Yeah, I sold it. It would have cost $2,000 or so for me to fix it. (Parts maybe $1,200 if you looked REAL hard, but I don't think I could have successfully done ALL of the labor myself.) Nope. Insurance through Progressive would have cost $195/mo for full coverage. I now switched to Rider and on the 250 full coverage with $250 deductible is only ~$300/year.

I hate the ringing in my ears, but the one time I wore plugs on the way down to KY I got EXTREMELY sleepy because of the quiet. Or maybe I didn't get enough sleep. But I wasn't tired once I took them out in KY.

So, since my original post apparently can't be edited for some reason... I'm going on a vacation on the 5th. I'm flying from the Columbo airport at 5:30 or so, and need to be at the airport by about 3:30 AM. I know it's super early, but if anybody is available that would be willing to swallow a bit of sleep and drive me to the airport it would be much appreciated. (And you'd be saving me quite a bit of bucks. I can pay you for the trouble, obviously less than a taxi but yada yada.) If anybody's up for the task.. you're my favorite.
