If it would warm up, I could finally install the new rearsets that are still sitting in the box in the kitchen. They've only been there since the end of November. The struggle of not having a heated garage...

I'm at that "forgetting stuff" stage, hopefully I'm not at the saying things over and over again part yet... ughhh, old people problems. I'm just hoping to take all of my vacation days this year since I had to roll 5 of them over to this year, which reminds me, I have 2 days that I need to schedule off before the end of the month.

Is that the California Superbike school? I know a guy who's level 3 or maybe 4 with whatever school that's called. He went to Laguna Seca last summer for one of the weekend classes. I'm pretty sure I want to be him when I grow up... lol

I guess private track days are where it's at then. I had my own instructor the entire day when I did mine last September.

I've always kind of wanted to try one of these schools just because it seems so much more instructional than a local track day. Maybe one day... How many people participate in a typical weekend class? I'm guessing it's a smaller group than the average run of the mill track day?

Welcome!! I know how you feel, it took me a while (maybe a season and a half) before I got on the highway, but I live next to a 4 lane (in each direction) highway that can be confused with Talladega on occasion. My advise is when you feel ready, find a friend to go with you and try it out when it's not rush hour or congested with traffic.

I know you said you weren't really interested in anything Italian, but have you looked into/checked out the Tuono? And before any of you savages get started, I know Aprilia's aren't always reliable, and they have issues sometimes, blah, blah. I just wanted to through it out as something to consider, because if I was looking to get a bigger bike I'd be looking at the Tuono or the Monster 1200R or maybe the S1000R. But that V4 though... I really need to play the lottery or invest more time into finding a sugar daddy... lol Just my 2 cents. Congrats on the new job and good luck on the new bike hunt.
