  6. Well you guys know where to find me, usually riding with Brandon.
  7. Eh skip the bike nights and go ride some twisties. Trust me I did bike nights last year and then I rode Hocking with Brandon (Dying Shadow), never doing bike nights again.
  8. It really caught a TTD, Textually Transmitted Disease and died alone in a corner.
  9. Normally I would enjoy a nice long ride, but the bike is getting a rejet and I have my MSF class.
  10. From what I saw Columbus should be good a lot of the rain looked to be staying south of I-70.

  12. Not sure I'd be much help, I mean mine is in a shop for a reason lol.
  13. Should be able to pick this up at any auto parts store, until you can afford to get a professional repair. http://www.jpcycles.com/product/900-312?utm_source=PLAs&utm_medium=cpc&utm_term=&device=c&network=g&matchtype=&gclid=COvm2LjypbYCFYpDMgodT1EAdA
  14. Figures bike is in the shop and the weather starts to warm up.....story of my life.
  15. Brandon and I ride to Hocking all the time and at a spur of the moment, then again we do Live in Cbus, The real fun is going to be the ride to the Gap no trailer all the way on the bikes.
  16. Thought only women could carry like that.
  17. I wear a Gmax GM11D. It's not a bad helmet the run a little small in the size so you might have to go one up if you look at one. I thought at first the visor was going to be an issue catching wind at highway speed but I didn't get much drag when I tested it out and lane checking felt normal. it is a bit noisy but i wear ear plugs anyway due to my exhaust. It's a middle weight helmet not too heavy but not super light. The thing I like the most is the field of vision, I get so much more peripheral vision compared to my full face Vega. The price was another sell since I have always wanted to try a dual sport helmet and didn't want to drop $400+ on a helmet I might not like $120 was easier to swing. One thing to add just to be safe take the visor screws and the top visor screw and apply some loctite, I did run into an issue of one screw backing out on it's own.
  18. Had the same issue my self (tax return), ended up getting some new gear and putting the rest back for the cost of my bike repair.

    fearful?

I think about this a lot myself, every time I go for a ride I kiss the wife and kids just in case. I wear all the gear and ride within my limits but you can't count on other people on the road to do the same, cagers or fellow riders. I haven't had my first accident yet but I know I will. To answer the question I love this sport/hobby too much to think about never doing it again, we only get one chance at life there are no do overs. Might as well get the most out of it you can.
  20. What is sad about that video is that the UPS driver was found at fault and UPS agreed he was at fault simply because the road he was on did not permit box truck access. This guy has a follow up video explaining it.
  21. damn I was too slow, needed to replace mine that was stolen.
  22. Best I could find. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QLWF1npaxmY
